Looks like a shadowy animoo person looking over a barricade of some sort~
My only hint is to say this is more or less accurate. I'll speak up if someone gets it :P

If DotA2's anything like plain DotA, be careful trying the sniper vs humans. It's incredibly flimsy and not a very good carry, unlike most agl-prime ranged heros. You'll probably get by playing against (other) inexperienced players, but playin' the poor guy against folks more familiar with the game is just hell. Everything eats you and everyone knows it, plus your ult ends up pretty flimsy. Used to be one of the only DotA heros I could actually play to any degree (along with the ogre magi and the... shadow fiend, or something like that.). Dunno how the computer stacks up to actual players in DotA2, though.

I'll probably mock anyone that can actually find where mine came from, heh.

Mock slightly, anyway. It paints me somewhat poorly, too.

Assuming anyone can actually figure out where it's from. S'doubtful, though not impossible.

If I ever change it, though, it'll be
Spoiler: this thing (click to show/hide)
or
Spoiler: this little guy (click to show/hide)
which is from some (awesome) french webcomic I can't remember the name of. With some resizing, of course.

Clearing it out takes time, and effort, and organizing, and, yanno' what? I'm not even using *checks* 3% of my space yet. So bah, leave it be.

Ein's got me a little beat, though. Only have 2002 unread messages.

How can you not 34 that?

Incidentally, I'm now vaguely saddened by the reminder of the existence of vore. I respect others right to kink, but that's one of the ones I just can't really wrap (heh, prevalence of snakes in the fetish...) my head damnit brain, go to happier places around.

Failure and dropout rate on those classes probably wouldn't mean anything, either, heh. I think my (undergrad) modern logic class lost 1/5th of the class and 15-20% of what was left didn't pass, or only scraped by with a low C. Considering it was only a step above introductory logic (which I've never taken, but still.)...

For college courses, especially if you're in higher undergrad or masters level, passing is to be proud of (if you're inclined toward pride, anyway). It's better than most of the population has managed.

Quote from: End of Article
A basic mathematical as well as political principle is at work: Debts that can’t be paid, won’t be.
Most of the rest was support. Also, trying to force people to pay debts that can't be is going to royally fook everything t'ell. Plus some other stuff. History, how it's going down now, etc.

Bottom half or so's probably more relevant to discussion at hand. Find: "Shifting planning away from elected public representatives to bankers" and read from there. Possibly the section right above it.

Ahahaha, all wrong. Today's hint is "three." Three is not in the title, nor does it refer to the number of letters in the title.

Not-So-Stealth edit: Three points to everyone, since no one got it. The answer was "Chrono Cross." 3 = C :P

Two points to whoever knows where the background came from. Just two points, though, it's not actually too terribly obscure.

Frumple does not care for your 'image quality' and 'resolution' malarky! Though it looks a little prettier outside the browser, for some reason. Ehn.

Okay, yeah. Blaster bomb? One of the best g'damn things I've ever seen in a roguelike. Or ever, really. I've played X-com and all, but I don't remember th'lil buggers being that awesome!

There was nothing left of the sandbox map but ash and fire.

Firing one over a building and dropping it on the head of a heavy plasma toting sectoid was just beautiful, too. Silly aliens leaving one unguarded inside their UFO. Regretted that, they did.

How do I get a flying dude to swap Z levels without resorting to the mouse?

Nope. Prefixes gained from crafting are random. All prefixes are random. You got lucky :P

Ah, thank you. So yeah, consistently ~20 (sometimes lower, sometimes up to 25) with the first two lighting modes, from 30 (in my base) to 60 (in a fairly empty area) with retro and trippy. I'd say that's some improvement :P

To save a tremendous amount of performance. I think I get maybe 10-15 fps with normal lighting (tremendous chug, barely functions), but almost flawless performance with retro or trippy. If there's a button to show FPS, I could give some concrete numbers, there.

Seriously, the lighting change made the game almost unplayable for some people, while pre-change the game was very forgiving.

E: Though that's on windows, of course. Still, I doubt it'd hurt for getting the game to function better on a linux box.

Have you tried swapping over to retro lighting (hit F9 twice, if you can get in game), or is the game just not working? The new lighting lags like a frakking beast for a lot of people, but retro is much kinder on the hardware, from what I've seen.

Really, though, if it won't work on your graphics card, said card must be horrible. Just sayin'. Works on mine, and mine's an integrated piece of utter shite*.

Easy solution: Don't listen to them :P

I actually haven't heard either of the two named sing. I am a fortunate soul.

Re: Patience: I've lost (several hours worth of) sleep, just so I didn't have to rush around. Felt better than when I slept to the last minute and had to rush. Patience and giving myself 'give time' in any sort of appointment has done more for my happiness than anything else. *sage nod*

S'also much safer on the road, yeesh. You'd think folks would be content going 2-3x what the (average) human body can sustain for any distance, but nooo. Have to go just a bit faster, drive just a bit more recklessly, just to get there <1 minute earlier. *muttergripe go-the-damn-speed-limit-you-bastids gripemutter*
