Walk by TV, it's doing that Christian kid's show with the vegetables or whatever it is. See them doing a rendition of huckleberry finn. Like. First thing it does, is reimagine Jim as Big Jim, someone doing "three years community service" at some asshole's lumber yard.

And I'm just, like. What the absolute fuck are you people doing to twain's work. What the actual hell is this shit.

It's pretty rough, aye. Mostly numb to it, personally, I guess? Around a tenth of my local county has been infected so far, rate is accelerating, and on the way back from some medical stuff with a grandparent today the most local school... was having some kind of significant gathering, probably some kind of sport event by the look of it.

At some point you're just, like, th'hell can I do? Can't really do anything about these suicidal typhoid mary fuckers. You batten down as well as you can and hope to survive :-\

Some of his pardons were actually okay, for what little it's worth. There were horseshit drug related stuff pardoned on top of the rest of it, just as an example.

Quite a lot of them were pretty fucking heinous, though, yeah.

Uh. Well, if you don't want them rejoinable (basically any zip-style program can do that), I guess you could load the file up into notepad++ and just copy a chunk into another file?

Quick google says linux just has a command for it (split) and windows has various programs (HJSplit, GSplit; note I've never touched them, so yeah) with the functionality. So, like. Give a search for file splitting or partitioning a file. Would probably take less time than it took either of us to make these posts :P

We survived the Trump presidency.

...I'm still not convinced Hillary would have been any better.
Th'fuck would she have done that would have been as bad or worse? Trump's admin as been pretty terrible even before the disaster that's been its plague response or the goddamn president backed putsch attempt.

Apologies in my heart to whoever it was behind me in the bank drivethrough. It turns out even when the (federal) check to be deposited says it's good out to a year (as does official regs, from when I checked), if it's over six months old it still causes confusion and slowdown for the bank people :(

I know now the things are lying liars that lie, but I didn't before driving up and gumming things up for like 10-15 minutes, bleh.

Yer in the wrong thread fer context, matey :P

Is there any way to embed .mp4 (or other video formats) files into Bay12? .gif is an inefficient format (.gif only compresses within frames, while modern video codecs compress between frames), and it typically only goes up to 256 colors. I don't need playback controls; I'm intending it to be a looping gif-like image.
Pretty sure no (thankfully, that sounds like a bloody nightmare). Best bet would be hosting elsewhere and just using a link to that.

Pronoun ambiguity powers activate! Form of: A (bad?) joke.

Eh... sometimes? It's generally not considered "proper" abandonware unless it's explicitly released to the public in some way (ala warzone 2100, ferex) or the rights holders are just... gone, for whatever reason. Stuff you're, y'know, much less likely to be breaking the law to acquire.

BfME2 is very much still owned by a rights holder that ain't gone and ain't released it, far as I could tell. It'd be a forum violation to link to it in a way some abandonware stuff wouldn't be, 'cause outside old/used copies it's pretty much necessarily illegal to acquire, at the mo'.

Claps, tears streaming down their faces in rage as the knives come out for the final curtain call on the orange man, you mean.

Also we mechameripol now apparently? It'd improve the state of things, at least...

3087
It's, uh. Not. Abandonware? As near as I can tell. Rights holder seems to have discontinued official sale, but that's not quite the same thing, heh.

3088
Ears with eyes that have tiny ears on (in? Swimming around like little earfish?) them, that's the way.

3089
Any particular reason? It's not like its prospective userbase has shrunk over the years or somethin'.

Pretty sure they've already walked that walk back back, anyway, or near enough to it. There's been indication to disregard public statements to that effect, but also statement officials believe they can prove in court that exactly that happened. Nevermind that the actual statement doesn't indicate that there wasn't people there trying to kidnap and/or murder politicians, just that there's currently no strong indication there were organized groups involved... or that sherwin's probably about as trustworthy as the existence of my tortiseshell cat's left nut on anything related to trump.

The last week or so has been hectic as hell for the DoJ and co, and they weren't exactly running on all cylinders beforehand, ha. We'll have to see how things go, especially once the shitgibbon and company is proper kicked out.
