Why use plastic at all?  Plastic leeches into your water, which is not healthy. Plastic pollutes.

Use a couple of glass bottles (I saved Snapple bottles while they were still made of glass) and wash them in the dishwasher or by filling with very hot water & a drop of dishwashing liquid and shaking vigorously & washing the spout and lid with a soapy dishcloth. Voila, use them for many years, save the environment and your health at the same time.
Biggest consistent issue I've had with glass is that it breaks. There's probably still better options than plastic, but if your household has old people or just folks with inconsistent grip for whatever reason having shit laying around that spontaneously turns into shrapnel for the feet is less than ideal :-\

It would probably be less debilitating than dying and/or weeks of pretty intense pain followed by permanent organ damage, yes, what with the whole doesn't-actually-change-anything-except-who-you-want-to-bang-and-how-colossal-jackasses-treat-you thing. Especially if everyone that was going to catch the plague just turned gay instead.

It'd be interesting to suddenly have several million more significantly gay folks running around, really -- county I'm living at would have already had about a tenth of its population converted, and we're not even close to done yet!

Idle check suggests the best explanation bible scholars have for exodus 4 is that parts of it are just missing, for what it's worth. The bridegroom of blood bit is apparently supposed to refer to circumcision, which, uh. Does absolutely nothing to make that particular verse make more sense.

I seem to vaguely recall the hardened heart bit got more odd when early bible thumpers or somethin' like that retconned the OT to be monotheistic. Iirc there's a few parts where there's indication/evidence/whatever that someone went and changed references to other gods to only talk about the one, leading to weird shit like that part.

So yeah, some insanity (or just being high as hell off something), some preservation/translation issues. Both is a legitimate answer.

They probably do have some kind of legal agreement to use his likeness, I'd imagine.

I'd be nixing that and most other connections with someone supporting a coup attempt and encouraging deadly violence if I were a company, too, tbh.

Also if not a company in most cases, really.

DC police is now reporting that none of their wounded have died.
Yeah, there was an update that apparently he was "just" on life support until family arrived and the initial report was incorrect.

... latest I'm seeing is that he's actually kicked it, now, though.

Huh. Yeah, one the cops brained by the coup shits is dead, now. That's five, I think? Four insurrectionists and a cop, last I noticed a count.

Some of the kid responses to this have been pretty brutal. Some basically going, "You had to hide under desks because of guys with guns? Welcome to my world." Others wondering if congress had to run drills for what to do in the case of an active shooter, like they've been doing most of their life. Helluva' thing.

Far as I've noticed, it seems only two dead so far, one to gunfire and another to heart attack. Remains to see if that tally holds :-\
Didn't :(

Count I saw at waking up has it up to four. Welp.

Iran threatened to fly a plane into the Capitol on Wednesday when Congress meets. If they do make an attempt then I hope you guys kick their teeth in. Like that would basically be declaring war and it would be stupid to not fight back.
[citation needed]

The only reference I see at all is a message to air traffic controllers (which is pretty easy for randos to do, apparently) no one knows where came from and official response has publicly stated isn't credible, which is about as "iran" as my tortoiseshell  cat's left nut.

Uh, with cornbread it's just the baking soda, no vinegar. My grandma makes the stuff like that all the time, I didn't even realize eggs got involved with the process at all...

I'm just waking up, and yeah, looks like major/lots of folks are saying every sign points to a two-fer for the Democratic party in GA. Guess theoretically there's still room for weirdness, but that seems to be getting increasingly less likely.

Here's hoping, getting that goddamned turtle off the senate majority seat could make a fucking huge difference for how the senate functions for a couple of years at minimum.
