That should be normal. "listen to your body" is the general advice I'd give there. Some people eat on schedule, to the same level, because it's part of their daily ritual. If you're not feeling at least a little hungry at meal time then that might be a sign to adjust things.
Mind, listen to your body can also be goddamn terrible advice. When my grandmother does that she ends up in the hospital these days, due either to dehydration or issues with not bloody eating. Sometimes your body gives you really shitty signals.

In any case, yeah, sometimes I'll end up forgetting if I ate earlier in the day. Tends to happen when it's early/a small meal, and I take a nap or get really engaged with something. Will end up not entirely sure if I ate or not. Generally, if I really can't tell I'll first see if I'm having any issues with shaking, and then maybe nibble on something small, just to make sure I don't friggin' fall over or somethin'.

Days? Gods fuck but if it's something measured just in days instead of weeks or months we're going to have an evidence point in favor of the existence of the goddamn divine.

General Discussion / Re: Things that made you go "WTF?" today o_O

There are already spelljammers present in BG2 -- there's one docked in the Underdark city.
Sure, but that was like twenty years ago.

Spelljammer (especially a pretty damn well animated nautiloid, for that matter) in a fairly major game franchise two decades later surprised me.

Just noticed that A. There's apparently a baldur's gate 3 coming and B. It involves at least one spelljammer as a significant thing. As far as things I expected to see today go, spelljammer in a major video game franchise in the year 2020 wasn't it.

*day before some public offices open back up to the public*

*confirmed county cases spike a solid 25% overnight*

*despairing laughter*

Dunno. Last I heard anything about airports, they were packing people into small rooms for hours *shrugs*

The concept of the TSA stepping up is pretty laughable, tho', so I'd image it's not going well.

My login time appears to still be a matter of public record, so...

Huh. It keeps that up, and the upside to this whole mess is we'll finally have found proof FTL (transmission speed goes below zero seconds or somethin') is possible, and the theory of spontaneous generation will see a revival as the plague starts creating people ex nihilo to infect.

I don't welcome our reality breaking crow virus overlords, but I'd at least feel less bad about our species getting collectively shitkicked by them. Somewhat less bad. Maybe a little.

I've never done risk of rain multiplayer, but so far as barrier to entry goes it's pretty damn painless. It's a fairly straightforward platforming run and gun dealio mechanically. Pretty good fun even solo, too.

The sequel, I'unno about. 3d generally ain't my jam, but folks do seem to like it well enough, from what I've seen of videos and whatnot.

Other Games / Re: Question for an obscure MUD: After the Plague.

I have zero idea about the answer to any of those in-game questions (though the name rings an old, very faint bell, as does the mention of an elements city... might have been one I dipped into years and years ago, back when I was sorta' interested in muds), but just the clear it up you're definitely asking in the right subforum. Other Games is indeed the place for questions like the ones you have.

Uh. Is that the actual name? Cause a search shows a Solaria Moon (which is 3d, so could be what you're talking about) and a Crusaders of Solaria (which looks like it might be some kind of dungeon fighter online clone, from the screenshots, i.e. there isn't really a camera moving around to complain about) and a Solaria Tactics (also sorta' 3d, so maybe), but the only games I'm finding called just Solaria are some kind of board game and like a plant growing simulator over on itch.io.

I mean... it depends on the celebrity. It's pretty easy to see how someone who's works (music, acting, writing, whatever) offered who knows how much comfort or happiness or whatever to you would cause you to be sad when you find out the person passed away. Or just disappointed that someone greatly skilled or enthusiastic or whatev' in their field isn't around anymore, or so on.

Like, I can't say I've really felt like that myself, much (probably the closest I can recall was when prachett passed), 'cause I don't invest much emotionally into any one creator or body of works, but I can understand the sentiment pretty easily. Some folks really do seriously invest themselves like that, spend hours and hours steadily experiencing someone specific's stuff, or have really pivotal moments in their life it helps carry them through, or etc., and for those sorts of folks being pretty tore up when the person in question passes is just... totally understandable, yeah?

There's no real need to suspect, we've had steady controversy in some states (Florida, ferex) about people trying to conflate number of tests with number of people tested, in an attempt to make testing numbers look less fucking abysmally insufficient. Not that having higher tests per million is a bad thing, but it's not the only or necessarily the best statistic for tracking whether testing is meeting the demands of the situation on the ground. It's a "necessary but not sufficient" deal. You can't get by without it, but you won't necessarily do well with it.

Mind you, the tests are also somewhat shitty so if there's not a fair amount of redundancy, you're probably missing infected, so... yeah.

Okay, so. I Dracula Genesis. Twinstick roguelite, enter the gungeon-ish. Seems neat, not point of post.

Is anyone else that has noticed the thing also getting significant Chaos Engine vibes from the general aesthetics? 'Cause I've been watching vids, hearing folks say the look is significantly unique, and I'm just going, "Chaos Engine. This thing reminds of me of chaos engine." Modernized, and whatnot, but... still.
