Okay, it seems less ashes and more "anything with a stardock launcher" -- I'm seeing it with sins of a solar empire, too (mistook it for ashes, worked out anyway :P). It also seems to be strictly the multiplayer content, not the full game. So the answer seems to be 'yes, but actually no', heh.

Super hard reinstall (complete deletion of all existing terraria files, then going from there) seems to have cleared up the crashing, at least. Time to see what this master mess is about :P

E: Holy shit dandelions will effing destroy you. Master level difficulty apparently doesn't screw around at all, and will cheerfully throw things that will straight up one-shot a starting character into immediate range of spawn. Yikes.

Probably? It's a fairly neat kinda' sideview/2D platformer survival/TD sort of thing. Hard to put it words, but you wouldn't have trouble finding gameplay footage wherever. Neat play on action-platforming, put together fairly well. It's worth messing around with captchas for a bit, imo.

I'll admit, it just occurred to me that I'm hoping the modloader dlc inclusion means hour 0 magic storage update. Like, I want to play the new stuff but I'm also not sure I can stomach not having that anymore. The functionality/quality of life difference vs standard storage/crafting is just... stark. Extremely so. Vanilla chest/crafting/etc. management is honestly kinda' a pain in the ass, whereas magic storage (especially in conjunction with the recipe browser!) just. Isn't. A pain in the ass, bar a mild, short lived, period prior to getting the heart et al setup.

I can do without basically all the other mods I've habitually been playing with for the last while, but no magic storage? Not. Not sure on that one.

E: oh hahaha the update's getting rid of throwing damage entirely, thas probably gon break the fuck out of content mods, oh my

E2: Update would appear to be live! I guess I'ma try it and see what happens...
E2.5: Also modloader is available directly through steam, as well. Doesn't look like you get it through where you'd think (terraria's dlcs), but it does show up if you search the store for tmodloader.
E2.6: Okay, currently it appears modloader just loads the game in 1.3.5 mode, which is... fair enough, I guess.

E3: Aww yeah baby werfault right out the gate. Checking steam discussion suggests it's happening to quite a few folks. Fecal matter has impacted the oscillating rotary device :P

I may not agree with the lifestyles of the "rich" but they are still people, so I can't condone "kicking them in the balls."
Do note that 'kicking them in the balls' largely consists of, god fucking forbid, measures to make them maybe have a lifestyle only two or three times more wealthy or secure than the average person, rather than even more than that, to sometimes farcical degrees and the great detriment of many other people.

Personally, I can condone that real bloody hard, extra especially in the face of a goddamn plague. The sympathy I have towards the "plight" of the better off maybe ending up living like the friggin' rest of us or putting off their goddamn beach trips and fancy haircuts for a few months or a year or two or whatever isn't just infinitesimal, it's outright negative. Invocations to care about their fucking luxuries while the rest of us toil and die makes me want those luxuries pulled to the ground and burnt.

My dreams have informed me, and so I inform you: Bigfoot fucking hates being put in half-assed turtle bondage, and makes a noise like a badly injured dog when you try.
Wait, you had bondage dreams too? I was stuck in an anime showdown where my Special Move apparently was spontaneous rope suspension.

At least it was super effective, unlike those other poseurs at the tournament.
I don't, no. Or didn't, I guess, it wasn't a major part of the dream, near as I can recall, just the most bizarre part of it. Not as far as I can remember or with any regularity (... also it'd probably be a nightmare if it were me getting trussed up, I generally don't like restraint much at all), anyway.

The main viewpoint people just had a bigfoot in their vehicle for some reason and didn't want to let it get away. So they tried to tie it up, and the bigfoot became extremely unhappy and started making the noise our goddamn insane dog does when the person he's fixated on goes outside or something (which is also the sound dogs make when something is tearing chunks out of them or breaking their limbs, fucking crazy mutt).

Doesn't the rona die off after like a day or something on cardboard? It's apparently one of the better materials vis a vis the crow plague, iirc. Not really sure what actually stops you from disinfecting cardboard, tho'. Might have to let it dry a bit or sit out in the sun or something, but *shrugs*

Mind, those don't look like they're exactly intended to be super reusable. Plus if you're dealing with a bed and coffin shortage bad enough to want dual purpose cardboard icu beds, the downsides are probably less relevant :V

I can't imagine how someone's mind could wander when bored in a hospital room with nothing but a tiny TV perpetually tuned to the 24/7 all Jesus all the time channel knowing you are potentially sleeping on your coffin.
By the time you're actually at a crisis point, you're probably intubated (and significantly sedated, because that sucks giant donkey balls and you flailing around could cause problems), iirc. You're going to be entirely too fucked up at that point to worry about it, and probably too fucked up to watch TV. Intubation et al saves lives, but without that it'd just be a good torture method :-\

Dunno, but pretty sure I've got one, too. Old laptop, thing's still running vista.

... mind you, despite mostly still working (the s key is dead, heh, and the battery's been utterly unable to hold a charge for years) I'm currently just using it as a mousepad, so, uh.

Turns out laptops make surprisingly good mousepads for use on a bed. Flat surface with enough weight to hold steady, it's good stuff.

Is one of the words 'Covid'?  :P
it could be, watch:

(Crows)
(Yes weird hoe it’s letters)
Let’s play a game

_ _ _ _ _  _ _ _   _ _ _, _ _ _ _ _ ?
_ _ _ _ _  _ _ _   _ _ _, _ _ _ _ _
C o v i d   w i l   f u k, n k i l u

Covid will fukkin kill you, written when your lungs are trying to die and you're too busy coughing or suffocating or being on a ventilator to spell right :V

That said, if you really want to play that game, I think there's threads for stuff like that over in FG&RP. Somewhere or another that's not here, anyway.

Quote from: divine card creator chapter 215
“Qing Ming City News Report…”

“Breaking News… A building is on the run. It was last seen on the ring expressway… at a speed of more than three hundred miles. Vehicles nearby please take note!

Yeah, okay, this webnovel or whatever it is is actually pretty okay. Regularly amusing, it started going in a good direction somewhere around the point it started air dropping bulls on people.

E:
Quote from: shortly after
A driver that was speaking on the phone with his daughter-in-law looked bewildered at the black shadow in the distance. He took a while to come to his senses.

“Daughter-in-law. Have you ever seen a building that drifts?”

That's... just an ellipsis, doin' ellipsis things. Sometimes an ellipsis is just an ellipsis.

That's even capable of being highlighted on mobile devices.

... puts either awkward spacing or something with no indication it exists in the post, though. Use case is fairly different than abbr, more or less. It's good for a joke in particular but clumsier than abbr for some uses.

Amusement and/or edification, mostly. Sometimes stylistic preferences. Abbr tag means the whole thing isn't in everyone's face, without leaving people that don't know the abbreviation in the dark, y'ken?

Honestly, it's a bit of a shame mexico probably doesn't really have the budget or the interest in dropping millions USD in a wasteful gigantic "fuck you" symbol like that. Big ol' wall with lots of (unmanned) gates in it, a bit inside the border for a nice no-man's land, something like that. Area between the wall and the actual border could be filled with, like, statues of trump being debased by various farm animals or somethin'. Might as well go all out, ahaha.

Somewhat more seriously, if you were going to try to build a great dividing wall like that, further out on mexico's side of things makes a shitton more sense. Less land to block off, y'know?
