I mean. That would show like 70% don't, though? That's not how you drag someone towards you, that's how you signal quite loudly you're dependent on the majority to get bugger all you want done and most folks are better off listening to whatever that 70% is saying.

If you had some kind of actual weight behind that minority (a similar amount of congress seats, some kind of evidence your shtick is actually able to win significant down ballot elections, etc.) you'd be talking some pull, but so far as I'm aware the US left has been kinda' fucking failing on that point, so far, barring the general leftward drift the democrats have been doing for a while now. It'll hopefully change in another couple of election cycles but the shift ain't here, yet. And until it is, th'shit in question is how you lose in a good chunk of the country

I guess it's worth sticking in anyway just in case the crow plague gives biden a last c-caw or somethin'.

I was wrong, Lafayette's track of ~actually fucking testing~ found theirs first. There is now exactly one county in Florida without a confirmed covid case. Liberty, the least populous county in the state. We are now at 66/67 (98.5%) for officially infected florida counties.

Not that there's even fucking anything equal about the remaining candidates, though it's closer than last cycle in some ways. Which is almost odd, considering by most accounts bernie and joe are actually pretty good friends on a personal level.

It's occurred to me occasionally, what if re: the whole prophecy thing, someone somewhere just... missed. Rather than coming from the god of the jews and aimed at a human prophet, it came from the god of arthropods and/or was intended for some oracular queen ant or somethin'.

So all the prophecies have come to pass or will occur inerringly, but they were actually talking about some ant bed or whatever and the human prophets that got wire-crossed at just did the best they could with what they got.

Prophecy both real and more or less entirely irrelevant to human concerns, held to concern them due to presumably well meaning confusion.

One more down. Three counties left for confirmation of full county level infection of florida. One of the remaining has tested 13/8354 (0.15%) of its population, going by census estimates and publicly available testing info. Other two are at 29/8422 (0.34%) and 74/18582 (0.39%). Soon!

Allowed, yes, but discouraged. Some are fired when seen, but if management can give an excuse to have not noticed you're good.
