Probably Roger Stone, the one known for dressing like a literal cartoon villain. Convicted of at least obstruction of a congressional investigation, five counts of making false statements to Congress and tampering with a witness, and probably more my half-arsed ten second google missed.

... huh. I actually did have one of those toys. The triceratops one. They were indeed pretty neat.

Low Magic Age? It's in development, but it's basically a DND thing with a six critter party. Overworld questing with towns and wandering critters and dungeons and stuff, or sequential fights with some inventory management and whatnot included.

Customization isn't huge, but you got your portraits and avatars and stat blocks and feats and so on, and some multi-person skill interactions. Biggest eh is that it still has a fair amount of content to flesh out, and characters can end up fairly same-y due to how resource scarcity (doesn't) work and how relatively few feats and whatnot are currently available. It keeps going (and/or opens up to modding beyond graphics stuff) and it'll probably be pretty darn neat on the customization front eventually.

If faplever works then let us lever the fap mightily is all I'm saying

In short-ish sessions, maybe. Anything particularly prolonged is known to drive humans fairly literally insane, iirc. We're very not wired for tolerance of sensory deprivation, more or less. There's some caveats there, but not many.

Stateside those usually don't actually have much indication of being from china, anyway. Package nonsense is pretty consistently the whole "give me money so I can (not) get it to you" horseshit also if you do shell out money you can expect your "package" to be fucking incessant calls about new complications you need to send money about. Embassy stuff is just one of the permutations, and generally has sod all to do with country of scam origin. Those scumshit fucks are sadly not stupid enough to legitimately peg some kind of potential physical trace point like that :-\

Other Games / Re: Odd Realm: A DF-like you REALLY should check out

Currently not much, outside of maybe having a smoother UI (which is a separate issue from graphics, more or less), which still isn't quite super intuitive or whatever, either. There's some interesting things going on or intended to be implemented regarding individual critter progression and separate races, but I'm not sure I'd call it better, per se, especially if you include DF modding into the mix. Implementation's smoother than what you'd get modding DF, but better is probably stretching it. Game's still very much in development and somewhat content sparse (if less so than last year), too.

We have another thread for it somewhere around here. Game will probably be a neat, more contained, DF-like whenever it gets finished, but it still has a ways to go. Already pretty good for sinking some hours into, but direct DF comparisons are probably a bit too soon.

Hell, it could be there just to put out fires. We have a thing or two like that specifically to pour on pan fires or whatever if they light up.

Easy heuristic, incidentally: At 55, that four second gap is roughly the distance between two telephone/power poles. Far as I've noticed that's a fairly standard spacing across most of the US, so...

Since when the hell were headlamps meaningfully angled downward? If that was ever the intention shit has gone way the blazes astray :-\

Pretty sure it can get you fired in places stateside, either explicitly or by way of some sort of excuse magically appearing, assuming an excuse is needed at all. So, uh, don't apologize but do be careful :-\

On the one hand, that seems silly.

On the other, an exhaustive list of people I know in real life with a remote controlled aircraft matching those restrictions:

Pathos? Yeah, pretty sure they got banned, though I don't quite remember for what. It was like literally a decade ago or something, though, so it's fell off the mod log.
