Turns out always cast rock minion as a projectile modifier on a 9 cast wand is, uh.  Pretty good. Have to watch out for all the freezing vapor, but. Basically everything you point it at dies. Sometimes things you don't point at die, too. Infinite shotgun rock minion ftw.

Also, anyone know when gold started healing you? Has that always been a thing? This run I've been getting a point heal per nugget picked up, which is doing some serious sustain in conjunction with disabled gold despawn, and I don't know if that's always been a thing and I just didn't notice, or it's new, or if one of my mods is doing something odd.

You really are not supposed to crush anti-psychotics...

This is not a comprehensive list, but really-- many major anti-psychotics can be found on it.
https://www.vnhcsb.org/media/data/papers/pdf/343_16.ApdexA.2.pdf

(It's a list of oral medications that should not be crushed.)

Note: may add contents of capsule to apple juice or applesauce but NOT chocolate
What a wild world we live in.
Chocolate's got caffeine at a minimum, and iirc some other psychoactive substances. There's probably more than one brain-y medication that doesn't play well with it. It's not so much that the world is wild as it is chocolate could probably be classified as a mild drug :P

We're already at the pack the courts point, though. It's one of the few things this administration has unquestionably been making gains on, and something the GOP has been working at most to all of my life. A dem (or possibly even just non-gop) president or organization willing to ratfuck the GOP in the judge area would be restoring rule of law, not undermining it.

I'unno about before, but the closure and arrests apparently started happening back in January. You might have ran across the story earlier in the year, perhaps.

I've been kinda' tempted myself, but watching some gameplay vids have shown some mechanics that looked kinda' frustrating. Fortunately, I have solutions for things like that these days, most of the time. Cheat engine is a blessing :P

If it's going for a good sale... maybe. I'unno, probably could stand to see what's going on this round...

And in today's dose of why the fuck do we allow ICE to continue to exist. Tl;dr, ICE set up a seemingly legit university, had it listed as accredited, took in tuition, so on, so forth, with the explicit intent of shutting down and arresting and/or deporting the legally immigrated students involved. Which they did, to the tune of over two hundred. Basically ran a sting operation where they intentionally entrapped students and then fucked over their student visas, for reasons that seem to rely entirely on fucking victim blaming.

Every one of the fuckers involved in planning and executing this shit should be in jail, and that entire goddamn organization ground to dust.

I... guess if the steam controller looks okay to you. Also, uh. Apparently there's logitech controllers on amazon also going for 13 bucks right now, ha. There's plenty of cheapo PC controllers if you're after one, at a glance.

The most benign viruses are probably the ones used to carry modified genes to cells in genetic engineering
These ones are probably the most ideal, since they're tamer viruses that tame cell genes. Multiple meanings that all fit. Actually could swear english has a word for that, but hell if I can remember it.

It's enough to make a body say "if you're that scared of driving then take the bus. Otherwise L2DRIVE."
Man, I'll take the bus when it's a fucking option. This is the goddamn US, unless you in some rich shit area there probably ain't no bus to take, or if there is there's other problems involved that means yo ass is in a car or yo ass is jobless.

Until then Imma respect physics, go fairly close to the speed limit, and not ride up on people asses. Good basic rules, really.

The flu's not particularly tame, though.

In related wtf, google does not know the hell to do with a search for least dangerous virus. I've tried multiple configurations related to that and it absolutely refuses to spit out anything except information on dangerous/deadly ones.

Stadia can chew through 1Tb in about 60 hours. That's just 2 hours daily each month. Prepare to pay out the nose. Or spend about 500 dollars one time to build a fairly decent gaming PC from scratch.
That's also max quality (about 16 gb down per hour*), apparently. Recommended minimum looks to be around 3-4 gb per hour, which, as mentioned, is about on par with what netflix runs for HD. Still not super great, but not unusually bandwidth destroying, either.

* Which, fairness where it's due, sounds fucking insane and what the hell are they doing?

No clue :P

Like, I know they do -- cameras have to take in light to make pictures or record to begin with -- and I know plenty cameras these days have a thing where they (by default, anyway) automatically adjust stuff based on light level, so clearly whatever mechanism is needed is in the device in question. But the actual mechanics involved in doing so and how they're being applied to a camera specifically rather than a more dedicated light sensor, I got no idea. Probably comparing relative color brightness to other stuff they're taking in and going from there, but I don't actually know, so...

Google suggests it's something called TTL (through the lens) Metering for most cameras nowadays. Something about measuring the light as it comes in to determine brightness levels.

Actual legality wise, well. It's the goddamn USA. There aren't unified road laws, shit varies by area you're in. By state, sometimes by municipality or whatever. Some places staying in the left lane like is being discussed when you're going slower than most traffic (i.e. you're not speeding) is indeed an active violation of road law. Some places it isn't. Which it is where you are, specifically, well, sometimes not even the fucking cops know.

I hear yeh on the 'just go the fucking speed limit", though. It's got so I'll go two or three over (when I'm outside city limits/residental areas, anyway) in an attempt to stave off the impatient shits doing suicidally stupid shit so they can break the law harder, but no more, not on the interstate, I fucking refuse to do it inside city limits, and I hate it fairly intensely.

... not nearly as intensely as I hate the fuckers that have forgotten the face of their science teachers and get way too fucking close to other vehicles, though. Safe distance is somewhere in the realm of a car length per 10 mph -- 55 (or about 90 kph for you metric folks) it's about the distance between two telephone poles, where I'm at. Outside of myself the number of people that seem to actually remember this is like... less than one in twenty or some shit. S'pretty infuriating, even when it's not some suicidal/homicidal fuckwit actively riding my own ass. Back the goddamn hell off, inertia is a thing, you're driving hundreds of pounds of hurtling machinery, and both you and the vehicle and the people around you need time and space to react if something goes wrong >:(

I'm probably fairly close to the antithesis of bloomb's camp so far as leftward folks go, but if (and it's conditional, I haven't exactly dug much into a DoA candidate that might just be using it to soapbox or whatever) what I had mentioned is accurate, it's not a case of him doing it "simply because they're rich enough to do so", it's them trying to leverage their resources in a particular way to signal boost what they apparently consider important. Candidates joining in the presidential run with zero intent to win isn't new, unusual, or even entirely unwanted -- having specific voices on the big person platform can do a fair amount to influence political discourse even if their chance of winning is fuckall and they know it, it can pave ground for a later attempt, etc., so forth, so on. Probably something approaching at least a plurality of current candidates are doing more or less exactly that.

Maybe it's extra distasteful when someone fairly blatantly buys their way into the process, but if they meet the minimum requirements for a run they meet the minimum requirements for a run. I'm not sure I'd want to see more restrictions put on that without some fucking massive campaign reform preceding it.
