Uh. Welp. Fuck the kurds, I guess? Looks like that's our new (old) foreign policy.

If this calculator is correct, about 0.048281% for eleven in a row. So it'd be a bit better than that due to it not being entirely sequential, but... probably still less than a tenth of a percent.

Liked one of the first goodreads reviews I saw:
Quote
Literary Me: This is a clever and entertaining Juvenalian satire of current Japanese publishing trends, resulting in something of a light novel burlesque.

Regular Me: WTF did I just read?

Ran a game of direct strike, decided to more or less throw strategy out the window. Made a diamond shape around dehaka alternating between zerglings and roaches, three rows deep. Tossed a line of locust spawners behind them.

Ended up both winning most of my waves (matched against another dehaka) and ultimately the game. That... should not have gone nearly that well. At all. Unthinking mostly monofocus builds are generally stupid easy to counter.

Diamonds are forever, I guess. Especially when made out of alien bug monsters crowded around a godzilla expy.

If I could, I would (well, after clearing it with the boss). I can't even figure out how to get the data I pull manually from other websites to cooperate, nevermind getting a macro to work :P

Not sure where it's coming from, but folks seem to be saying the guy was shot in the mouth, too. If true that makes it real fucking clear what the motive behind the murder was. Even odds the cops barely even try to find out who did it, though :-\

Kills/deaths/assists, but yes. Arx wouldn't feel as good with a 27:16 kill/death ratio :P

Kda format is fairly standard for games that track all three. People care about the kills and deaths the most, with assists being tacked on the end, heh.

OCLC firstsearch finally cut us off. Went from most items searched for having records, some of them even decent, to many not and those there having good odds of being shite (library of congress has records on damn near everything you might put in a library. Outside of kids books for whatever reason, most of them are varyingly terrible). Basically it's become like 50/50 odds trying to put a book or movie into our system will be a significant pain in the ass.

Copy cataloging has left easy modo difficultly, right after the person who's been doing cataloging work longer than I've been alive, retired. Also it's apparently a fucking nightmare to massage text copies of marc records into something our ILS won't basically shit itself over, so I can't even default to idly yoinking other library's record. i mean, i can still yoink them but it's only a step away from original cataloging in terms of effort, there's nothing idle about it also I'm super unsure about the ethics/legality of it ahaha

Save me :(

If by some twist of fate I end up designing a city at some point in the future, there will be fucking no intersections where right of way is an issue. None. Zero. Even people that know the rules don't know the rules, and even then they don't bloody follow them half the time. Get that goddamn guessing game off the road >:(

I mean, what is tone but variations in vibration. You might need to make new words and they might be able to knock someone off their feet, but it's probably doable with a sufficient commitment to excess.

I mean... if they can respond to touch, they can respond to sound. You'd just have to make it loud enough.

It was literally made in commemoration of anj's 50th anniversary. So uh. Yeah, it's a homage :P

I mean, considering after those two you don't so much have a deck as a pile of RNG checks, yeah. Extra fun with that is some mod item I've forgotten the name of that... actually, I forget the exact effects, but it was something like reduce attack card energy costs by 1 every time they're used, exhausting if 0 cost. Everything has to go, nothing can stay :P

... actually, there's another one that just sets everything to 0 cost/exhaust. Never actually tried it, much less in conjunction with a dead branch, but it'd probably be fun.

Not just shuriken, that's the full ninja set -- shuriken, kunai, and fan. Sounds like they didn't really build the deck to leverage them, though. More a high energy instead of attack spam play. Would have been nice enough but probably not core to the deck.

Things I didn't expect to find when trawling around looking for stuff that sounds like some tune I tripped over: this, wherein some dude plays a... thing... that apparently involves multiple thousands of marbles in its operation.
