For what it's worth, iirc like the one time jainism manged to get a notable foothold in a country, shit under its purview still got its conquest on. Can't remember if it was explicitly using the religion as a pretext or just going about things in spite of it, though.

Still, religious pacifism seems to last more or less exactly as long as it takes to get into power... if that. Moral of the story is keep your religion way the fuck away from the levers of secular government, I guess.

... just incremented by direct strike dehaka winning streak again. Miscounted, so rather than being win 10, it's 11. Since I've started playing this map yesterday, my win rate is literally 100%. I must be doing something right at this point :V

Any case, the game itself was fairly... what's becoming standard. Wave matched with a tychus, roach spam ftw. They tried to pull out cannonballs for stunning, but... more roaches. Plus some hydras for the dps. They fought off my initial just!dehaka wave and then lost every subsequent wave until the game ended. I'm not even sure how tychus deals with this, save maybe bum rushing higher tech levels and getting fancier stuff. Trying to use their anti-armor unit just means you scatter zerglings around to soak their shots and get some ravs to eat them, and everything else seems to just... die.

Among other things dehaka apparently is particularly abusive against the non-dehaka hero commanders (kerrigan, tychus, etc.), since it's been consistently abusing any of those I've matched against. Maybe they got play that resists and the folks I've encountered just don't use it, I'unno. Either way I'm doing entirely too well for someone that'd never played the game until yesterday

This is starting to get mildly disconcerting. Played Direct Strike (starcraft 2 arcade map, fairly popular) for the first time yesterday. Messed around with similar stuff and watched some vids previously, but never actually touched the map before.

That in mind, I just finished game six in a six game winning streak. Literally every game I've played so far has been a victory. I don't think I've been carrying the games or anything, just doing okay. But apparently okay with dehaka is all you need, or... something. Roach spam stronk. _{well, it's not spam per se but they definitely seem to be core to a steady dehaka play. Mix with zerglings if they're going anti-armored, igniters if they're trying to drown you in light, ravs if they're shooting up armored units themselves and hydras just kinda' regardless. If they go heavy air get mutas as a distraction or counter, creepers if they go seriously massed. Tyrants later on for the aura, ultras if you need some linebreaker/initial big HP pile, impalers and locusts I... still don't know what to do with. But basically keep the roaches/zerglings coming forever, they're the zerg bread to your godzilla butter.}

Well... shit. Sub 20 on D5 is super tempting. Don't think I'd play it much any time soon, though...

Yeah, you'd need relic and/or colorless (bandages) support for that one. Mods would help on that front, but vanilla it's a pretty sketchy proposition. Deva with the 4x heal and a stall inclined deck might be able to manage things, I guess? That's asking for deva, wish, and the heal card all in one run, though. And the means to play them effectively. It's a bit of a stretch, heh.

E: Man, I forget. Is the xylophone a vanilla relic? The one that lets you turn a 0 or 1 cost card into a X cost card. That plus deva form could get pretty ludicrous.
