Irritating music can also work. There were a few years where my alarm clock was metal machine music and/or merzbow. There's few beeps in this world more jarring than the sound of what amounts to industrial machinery fornicating itself, played loudly.

I used to be sorta' like that. I've since found the trick to be not dinking around with milquetoast beepy shit. Go loud and active. Current primary alarm is boss music from Magicmaker, heh.

Secondary is making it harder to turn off, though, yeah. Can help.

Last time I played, there was a scale model of someone's penis which shot webs out and a pyramid full of dynamite.

I see nothing wrong with that. Sounds like that server was coming along nicely.
Your missed opportunity has not gone unnoticed or uncorrected.

Spoiled R0TT3N has really stuck in my craw lately. Kinda' wish it wasn't quite so chippy/harsh, but other than that it's addictively funky.

Also developed a lot more appreciation of caravan palace's We Can Dance. Like pretty much all their stuff it's great, but for some reason I had excised it from my older playlists. No longer, it's right up there with Dragons, Dramaphone, or Rock It For Me.

Standalone DLC *shakes fist*

... but yeah I didn't notice 'till a bit later it was a standalone crossover thing. I've never played CotND or watched much video of it, so how similar the gameplay was(n't) wasn't something I recognized. Still, as said, it looks pretty good for what it is. Definitely have to check speedrun vids if they're already faffing about. Those are usually fun.

This thread being open.
For some reason I previously believed that Toady locked it long ago.
You may have been thinking of the rage thread. It actually did get locked long ago, and threads of its nature made forevermore verboten.

Gods, yes. Isekai is known for being schlock before and to an order of magnitude greater than anything else. Shield hero is in no way an exception on that front.

For instance, I've been invading a world and had a 1000 - 200 ratio of overall power over them, as an example, only to see their last defending unit suddenly blast up to 600 overall power by himself and start wrecking my troops.

I think they broke some things.
I mean, did they, or did they accidentally leak changes from the upcoming DBZ DLC? Nothing broken here, you just found the super saiyan needle in the galactic haystack.

I don't even know if I can wrap my head around playing terraria without magic storage at an absolute minimum, anymore. Which is apparently buggy in MP and probably would take time to get working with the new update anyway :-\

Crypt of the Necrodancer apparently got a legend of zelda DLC, uh, recently? Probably will never play it and I don't feel like necroing one of the old threads, but it looks (and sounds) pretty neat so folks might be interested?

*insert yet another distant wail at mod compatibility getting fucked up again*

At least hopefully this one will actually be the last. No more watching months/years of mod development getting sideswiped by surprise update once this batch gets done with.

If the GOP gets shellacked, maybe. Electoral reform is something that actually has some degree of traction among political factions in this country that doesn't rely on voter suppression and gerrymandering and whatnot to maintain power, and general public opinion on the subject of gerrymandering specifically is pretty negative. If they don't you can expect the GOP to do whatever they can manage to prevent any reform on that front that makes it less crony and corrupt.

Mind, even if they do it's not entirely guaranteed something gets done unless the shellacking maintains itself for multiple election cycles. Work's very much needed on that front but there's relatively few people that have it as a top priority at the mo', and the actual top priorities are all likely to be slogs.

I'll probably be spending at least a little time in hell shanking people who heap more blame on people opposing GOP efforts to fuck all of us for being less than perfectly effective than they do on the GOP, at this point.

But no, it will be because of republicans and their ilk if it happens. Maybe other shit will contribute but the fucking cause remains that lot, and we don't actually do goddamn any of us any favors by trying to absolve the bastards of guilt like that line of nonsense does.

Cataloging book. Printed in America says the front the book. Printed in Great Britain says the back of the book. Place of publication not specified says the only record I can pull down. *twitch*
