You just left a dead frog on your living room floor? How did it even get there?
Presumably through a door or somethin'. I've never noticed exactly how they get in, but the occasional dead frog (usually dead long enough they've dried out) seems to show up in most places. Houses, libraries, various stores... they're basically like bugs, just amphibian. When you live somewhere like Florida having to deal with the occasional frog corpse is just one of those things.

And yeah, when I first noticed I just kinda' ignored it. Would have gotten back to it eventually if the dog didn't eat it or something but it's only super high priority if it's still, like, moving or leaking or summat. Which it wasn't.

Though do note, if you're from somewhere else and used to fairly sizeable frogs (or toads, or whatever), the ones that usually infiltrate a house aren't those. S'the small, bit less than thumb-ish sized ones. Usually green when healthy. If they have a specific name I can't say I've ever had reason to remember it.

E: Finally got around to actually having a bowl of the chicken and waffles cereal. As individual pieces of cereal it's kinda' eeehhh, especially the chicken pieces, but together it's pretty alright. Not great, but edible enough. Okay with milk, not great dry. Okay cereal, bad sweet potato chip equivalent.

Nah, it was pretty dead beforehand. I had noticed earlier this morning, but was in a hurry and just stepped over it after seeing if it was alive... then forgot it was on the floor of the living room until I heard an odd squeaking noise and wondered what the hell made it. Flip-flop frog corpse goes squeak.

Today I learned recently dead frogs can squeak when you step on them. They're apparently like tiny necrotic whoopie cushions.

Man, it just struck me that trump is trying to put american workers out of a job by outsourcing our immigration services and enforcement to Mexico. Last I heard threatening to ramp up tariffs if Mexico doesn't stop illegal immigration outright.

Just think of one of the repercussions if they actually did the physically impossible and did that. ICE would be out of work. Thousands of Americans would lose their jobs.

Cheapo USB wireless thing not an option? Remember being stuck with those for a long time, back in the day...

Here's the thing, I kind of want him to run because Trump will not be able to criticize him in any way other than to make fun of his name. It would derail the entire Trump campaign. Every campaign stop would be just Trump repeating his opponent's last name and making an idiot of himself.
Trump doesn't give a single shit about behaving like a senile sack of dung, though. Trump would be as capable of criticizing PB as he is more or less anyone, since his criticisms tend to be anywhere from partially to entirely unmoored from reality and self-awareness.

It would be a test of lgbt issues, though, more than a lot of things. You can bet your varyingly metaphorical ass trump would jump on that for his base like a BCE pederast on a grecian schoolboy.

Blindfolds help lots and can be improvised from many things, just a heads up. If one doesn't block the light, add layers.

Chicken and Waffles is apparently a popular breakfast in the US South, in addition to being an abomination before both God and Man.
Maybe other parts of the US south? I've never really ran into it outside of this cereal or meals I've made myself (mind you, mildly syrup'd chicken between waffles or pancakes makes a damn good sandwich). Most of the folks I've met seem to actively dislike chicken (well, beyond eggs) for breakfast. Bacon, ham, or sausage is more or less 'the' breakfast meats.

Like, you could probably get it in most restaurants that do breakfast but popular is the exact opposite of what I'd call the combination.

... wet paint can be pretty fun to play with, though? I can't tell if that's supposed to be bad or not.

WHAT DID HE MAKE IT OUT OF
C'mon, you have to ask that? Dude turns into a snake. His choice of crafting material is pretty obvious.

E: Also duh to the second one. Why do you think the mad scientist that dabbles in genetic engineering asks people to bring it back for collection cleaning?

And until we're there, we can of course still advocate for better living conditions for animals. I mean, shit... If for no other reason, animals raised in better conditions produce better meat/eggs/dairy.
The trick is worse conditions don't tend to produce bad meat/eggs/dairy, and do tend to be cheaper. Less good, maybe, but still plenty edible. Lotta' folks kinda' look the other way when it means they get (easier/more regular/etc.) access to still-delicious food at a reduced price. Even if it means a quality hit, if the hit isn't sufficiently hard.

Fastest way to cut down on that would probably be figuring out how to do cultured "meat" that matches industrial farming for taste and beats them on price. If relatively shoddy conditions aren't providing that cost advantage and are being at-minimum met on quality, they lose any particular point of existing. Lotta' farms probably go out of business but *shrugs*

It was five out of whatever (think it was a hundred, but it's been a few hours and I was more concerned about getting near sixty year old swimming advice out of my library) for white men and thirty out of whatever for "colored men". The numbers for women were unmentioned and presumably whoever wrote the book didn't care enough to find out ::)

Mind you, if I'm remembering right, none of this stuff was, like, sourced or anything, so.

E: This wiki page mentions the 1963 book and some surrounding stuff. Came out of Georgia Tech. There was some hell of a thing illustrations in that book. Had one guy in the water with a noose around his head, another tied to the bottom of a pool.
