Well, one of the ones I'm wanting is Anomalocaris.

I mean, look at the thing: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anomalocaris

I mean, if you want an anorith tattoo, just go for it. There's nothing wrong with rock/bug :P

air spray, maybe? Give it a spritz on one end and see if it stinks up the other.

E: That feeling when you're really sure someone is dead, but. They're not. I could have sworn I saw news Tim Curry died a year or three ago, but no, guy's still around.

Latest KSBD had me think of 'em, Princess is now rocking what's almost an inverted Frank N Furter getup, which mixed with the hair is, just... Curry for Princess VA? Maybe.

Why, they only have about twice as many fatal accidents as Massachusetts, which has the best lethal rates in the nation. Utah, 11th in the nation for fatal accidents, must be doing something right!

... wait, no, that doesn't actually preclude them from being horrible drivers, it just means about 4/5ths of the US is worse.

Note to self, though. Drive through mississippi as little as possible. What the actual hell MS.

I can understand it's not one of those things you really engage with when it's happening, but... it's never struck me as a choice you can actually make, 'cause once you're dead there's little to nothing stopping them from killing your family anyway.

The kind of folks that would present you with that kind of choice... they're probably not going to leave loose ends once you're gone. So it's less "die or we kill your family" and more "do you want to be dead before or after we kill your family?" At least with after, you have some chance to enact some degree of retribution :-\

I mean, with as remarkably stupid as the man proved to be, it wouldn't be surprising if the guy hadn't set up any kind of dead man's switch of that nature.

Reality doesn't have to write its characters with an eye for verisimilitude or competence... in some ways it's for the better, probably, but on the other hand it makes a lot of things much more banal than they could be.

It's extra weird because they don't even look like a granddaddy long leg's kid. Body's way too large, et al.

It's short for Boss Cells, apparently. It's less that you get more cavemen when you're better, and more that the more cavemen you have, the harder the game tries to murder you. It doesn't appreciate your neanderthal harem.

I mean, one of the things folks seem to be noting is the region in question had one of putin's mansions or whatever in it... and it had AA defenses. It's apparently a possibility putin basically personally had the man knocked out the air with a SAM hit, heh.

'Bout the only thing surprising about it is how blatant it was, and that it took this long to happen, though...

I remember hearing back in the day of that horseshit causing riots in france, at some point.

I had never heard something quite so positive about the french people before that, tbh. Not sure I have since, either, heh.

Oh, right from the start. You just have to figure out which letter cypher is being used in order the parse the message hidden in the rest of the text. It's not a particularly complex one, though, so you should be able to get it eventually. Good luck!

Let's say FIDE goes tomorrow for "Alright, pals. From now on. No more women-only tournaments under FIDE." Do you think no one else will try to organize women-only tournaments? And then we'll still have transwomen wanting to compete there. Problem stays.
It's remarkable how difficult it would be to phrase that worse. Women wanting to compete in a competition for women is a problem, alright. Not with anyone competing or wanting to compete, but it damn sure highlights a problem :-\

So, your alternative is that everyone should be allowed to compete in the women's category after a simple "I transitioned" with no checks, no proofs, no prerequisites, no anything?
Up to 2 years to check is clearly excessive, but no checks at all is inviting chaos.
I'd bet you 20 USD I've got laying around here somewhere it wouldn't invite chaos is they just went, "Yeah, you are what you say you are."

The "check", here, is that publicly announcing you're transitioned or transitioning is not a bloody small thing. You probably aren't going to need organizational regulations on managing that, because society is going to do that job for you well damn enough.

Chimera or Soul Armors Recollect (particular the former; it's a bit newer) are both swell -- they're both basically arkanoid/brick break/pool fusions with some RPG mechanics and cute storyline.

For pseudo-idle stuff, I love both Stick Rangers and Space Battleship Story RPG to bits (though iirc the ads on them are a little annoying, after a point I'm pretty sure I just turned airplane mode on/wi-fi off before running them).

Magic Survival is Vampire Survivors before there was Vampire Survivors.

Those are some good ones.
