Or all sorts of day to day/simple domestic/generic feel good stuff. Congress's voting record is, y'know. Public. If you want to see what gets agreed on, just go look at all the shit that  passes either unanimously or without opposition. Iirc it comprises the majority of what goes through Congress.

We have a slay the spire thread around here somewhere or another, I think. It's pretty great, imo, but I probably wouldn't consider it on mobile unless they pulled something real slick on the modding front when porting it. There's already oodles of varyingly great mods for StS that are only growing in number, on top of a pretty solid vanilla, so unless a mobile version kept things on track on that issue I'd say stick to the PC version.

Though, that said, I'm pretty sure StS has done a good bit to push along the deck building trend that's been puttering about -- night of the full moon came after it, iirc, and riffs on a fair amount of its ideas. It's a legit good game in its own right, by and large.

In contrast, of course, to a huge swath of the right wing demographic that's fallen at least as hard, haha. Current difference probably being that lot relatively actively murdering people and going out of their way to encourage it with "jokes".

... nazi and nazi-adjacent jokes have seemed to be getting less and less funny, to whatever extent they were to begin with, the further out we get from living memory of those jokes' punchline, really. Plenty of funny shit out there without needing to contribute towards memeing up a(nother) fifty body funeral or whatev'.

Though yeah, deplatforming extremists would probably help out, to some degree. I'd expect the fourth estate to get on that right about time the media directed stochastic terrorism efforts start building a regular body count... maybe. Chances probably higher if it's folks like murdoch that starts eating bullets as opposed to children or reporters.

I would like to return yo the Mueller investigation conclusion. How long before we can expect things to start happening, if they do start happening? Are there any formal steps that needs yo go through now or could Mueller, if it seems it won't be made official in a satisfying way, be subpoenad like tomorrow already?
It'd probably take more than a day -- stuff would have to be voted on or subpoenas issued or whatever, which would take a day or two at minimum -- but pretty certainly less than a month. To get started, anyway. Finishing whatever comes of it would take longer, and doesn't touch all the stuff that's already in progress. Still, you'll probably have a good idea of what's going to go down and a rough timeframe by the end of, say, April.

E: Actually, if you can stand a Twitter thread pile, check this out. Summarizes what's actually going on with the investigation (and related ones, which are myriad) better than I can.

Certain activities at the Mueller office have led to speculation that the conclusion to his investigation is imminent.
Sounds similar to the "it'll release next week" reports that were coming out a month ago.
Those reports have been coming out since like the investigation started, mind. Not just last month. It'll happen when it happens.

... hell, part of me wonders if he's not going to just wait until late next year, cheerfully digging a deeper hole to bury people in. It'd be one way to finagle not having to worry about indicting a sitting president :-\

the more i hear about or interact with html5 media the more i dislike it

I mean, it finally ridded us of Adobe Flash Player man.
If by ridded you mean usurped its position as worst common means of playing online media, I guess. I actually migrated to non-browser youtube players when yt finally nixed flash entirely -- the html5 player was running like five times as ass as flash was, so it was functionally unusable. New computer handles it a bit better but fuck html5 on principle at this point.

Another unrelated bug is HTML5 media not getting killed after closing tabs, and affects every browser I ever tried.

Silly crux, of course it's not a motorcycle. Motorcycles have two cycles on them, not one. It'll be a unicycle, rode by a dancing, fighting, fornicating god.

English question of the day. Do cattle have a singularis?
English doesn't seem to have a singularis, actually. It's not an english word to begin with.

If you're meaning singular form, then there doesn't seem to be a general one. Instead it's by gender; bull, cow, heifer, etc... and might vary by region, for that matter. You'd probably be able to get away with using cow for most situations, though.

Also apparently France is saying they're going to veto a short-term extension request unless there's serious guarantee a deal will be accepted in short order? Something like that.  if you're under the impression may can do jack all to guarantee that, you'd be right :V

Probably? Iirc there's already an official translation somewhere or another, on some platform I'm forgetting, so most of the barrier to it's already down.
