I can't see a woman taking the party of misogyny nom regardless, really. Even if one wanted to try the chances of passing the primary might as well be nil.

E: "Lesser" positions might have the option, but POTUS? GOP nomination for presidency? Pull the other one, it's got bells on.

For some reason I could swear I remember someone wearing CRTs as shoes at some point. Or at least something that looked like them.

Ive been using the "brave" mobile browser for its wonderful built in ad block, which i couldnt seem to get from any other browser on android. However, as of yesterday, the adblock, popup blocking, etc has stopped working entirely, on every website, and i am now inundated with all the malware and tracking-laden filth the internet has to offer.

Ive double checked settings, noth8ng has changed. I am livid.
Opera's built in adblocker has been working fine for me, near as I've been able to tell. For what it's worth.

Not from earth 2, but earth 4 had a good view of 2 getting devoured by a herd of omnicidal space ponies. You don't have to worry about earth 2 anymore.

Every other bloody week since it started someone has said Mueller's investigation will be wrapping up as early as next week.

Mueller is like the Christian end times, he'll get here when he gets here, and untill it happens you can probably assume predictions as to the time of his coming are bupkis.

E: though pertinently enough, constantly predicting it is an age old prophecy trick. Keep doing it and eventually you'll be right and can start yelling loud enough everyone forgets the earlier goes.

Ignoring the casting choices, the GitS movie was a pretty looking mess, they decided to cram togheter stuff from te first movie and the SAC without much rhyme or reason. So in the end you have a bunch of really iconic scenes connected by utter gibberish, culminating in a shit-tier villian and a further middle finger to folks who had an issue with the casting.
Man, I'm not interested in the movie as is, but I would totally be up to see if they make it to Last Order and what happens then. I'm not sure what the emotion is for the idea of live action Anomaly but I'm feeling it.

... plus a potential tie-in/promo thing where they roll out that bit with that one heavy metal page? Sign me the hell up. Shrimp bot playing motorcycle ftw.

E: Seriously though, I'm not sure if the world is ready for a beer bottle to be jammed into a giant dick cannon via live action, but I'm willing to watch someone else find out.

Having a few puttering around in the car or whatever is pretty normal,  from what I've seen, yes.

Wait a tick, people are saying temp workers have flexible hours and work/life balance? Like, I've not been either of those but I'm still acutely aware that, uh. No.

And in actual news that isn't relitigating the fucking 2016 election a-fucking-gain, the House has gotten directly involved in one of the legal challenges to the ACA. Here's hoping the new chamber manages to knock some sense into some GOP shitheels.

Maybe In Celebration of Violence, or something like it? Action-rpg, crafting, think there's a food system, pretty sure it does alright on lower end machines.

... I just learned that Big O's start-up phrase was cribbed from Conan the Barbarian's sword. Crom Mecha Batman, what the hell.

Heh, spring's stuff (and I guess by extension Zero-K), planetary annihilation, mostly. There's a few with similar playstyle.

*raises finger* Uh, which one? The langrisser series has been running since like SNES days, and many of them are playable on mobile if you really feel like it...

Eh, I think it's one of the earlier-ish isekai novels, for what it's worth? Certainly read it several years ago. The show might not bring much to the table but the source material maybe sorta' did, insofar as you can consider the clusterfuck that is isekai a table, heh.

... incidentally I distinctly remember the latter parts of the books getting weird, in less than great ways. Can't remember exactly what it was (something about a flying fortress?), but yeah. Stopped reading a handful of chapters from like the straight up end.
