Checked my Steam, and almost my entire library was marked as "Update required", including some games that haven't been updated in years. Forcing the queued updates to start proved most of them to be 0k. I have no idea why steam did that, but it seems harmless.
Same here. I've started getting occasional 0k updates other than that mass one, too. Never noticed it happening before I got the new computer, but it's not like I can go back and check. The old one's still there but it's vista and steam is supposed to straight up not work on that anymore.

So apparently we have a polar vortex spinning up to go about enfuckening swaths of the country? Good luck, people not in the hellswamp. May you folks further north get meteorologifucked less hard than the panhandle was in October.

Rough point stands fairly well, though. If our current situation regarding the southern border is a national emergency there's like fifty things going on in the interior that's an order of magnitude or somethin' worse. Bloody drunk driving is probably doing more damage to the country on any given day, never mind stuff like the opioid charlie foxtrot, various environmental or infrastructure issues, etc., etc., etc. Even friggin' port security would probably better qualify.

Oh aye, they're making 4:3 lcds, yes. Apparently some O-something or other, too, just freakishly expensive for anything particularly large. Just not crts, heh.

5240
Are there any companies currently making new 4:3 CRT computer screens?
Quick pokeabout suggests no. Your best/only bet would probably be trying to get into contact with a manufacturing company or someone that does retro electronic fiddling, and get them to custom build one. It'd probably be stupidly expensive, heh.

If you just want the CRT though there's still plenty of old ones fluttering about, it seems.

Condensation? Or is there a more specific name pertaining to condensation from the mouth?
I literally don't know. Can't remember. There's definitely specific turns of phrase but I don't recall what they are. Seeing your breath? I'unno.

Ha. Scrub. I've ate the exact same lunch more or less every day since around August (though the days I'm not working I tend to just not eat lunch, so...). Six chicken nuggets with a bit of teriyaki sauce, one apple-cinnamon nutri-grain bar knockoff, and some water.

... you can get used to it, basically. Helps if you corral the practice to only one or two meals of your day instead of all of them, though. So long as you're getting some variation it's not so bad to otherwise be pretty samey for the rest of it.

For stuff like you're talking about, I usually dump the leftovers into something else (maybe other leftovers) and stir. Just because you have several days worth of the same leftovers doesn't mean you have to eat them the exact same way every time, y'know? It's actually pretty good incentive to experiment, I find.

Because music is either about sex or about drugs. There are some minor variations, but it all boils down to those two topics.
Filthy normie music, maybe~ I listen mostly to video game soundtracks, which are largely about ripping and tearing huge guts.
Except it's usually either about doing that in a quest to get laid or power trip off the raw power of the aether or somethin'. I listen to a lot of video game music too, these days, and you can largely still squish it into kag's description (and fairly trivially fit it into mine, ehehe) if you feel like it.

Alternatively, I would direct your attention to, say, Daijiru :P (warning, may not be safe for work. It largely depends on how aware people are of where the vocals were sourced from) (they were sourced from porn)

I'unno, the little death is a thing. You could probably finagle it.

Eh, death is probably in there, too. If you're wanting to look at it that way it's much like classical literature, just, y'know. Enjoyable :P

... also queen totes dips into drugs occasionally, too, if seven seas is anything to go by. Though I guess it could be both, glancing over the lyrics again.

Went to look up lyrics on junco partner, wondering what they were saying when the singer said something that sounded like coojun handbae.

Found out there's like fifty fucking variations on the song's lyrics, and I have A) no goddamn idea who sung the particular one I've been listening to and B) whatever variation it is, it's not a major one so fucking none of the roughly dozen different ones I saw matched it. Blarble.

Also now I know what a junco partner actually is!

... and the song becomes yet another one I have to be careful about where and how loudly I play. Since the ruddy thing's about heroin. Why does music I kinda' like keep turning out to be about hard drugs :'(

I mean. Beards can cause (mild, generally) infections even if you're taking care of them pretty well. Ingrown hair and whatnot. So, like. If they're not no one would have them :V

I mean... I guess it's a plus sign no one thought it worth mentioning? Apparently folks around you are mostly okay with it.

I would never describe anything about other people talking about their religiousity as "filling me with disgust", no
... most things, no. Anything is stretching it a bit far when that religiousity can extend into stuff like child abuse and violent bigotry, among other things, though. I've definitely been around folks talking up their religious fervor in ways that caused disgust, unfortunately :-\
