They can't really do anything about it, exactly. Only trump and k-whatever can withdraw willingly; congress republicans would have to actually vote against him to get another option, which would be political suicide for a lot of them. And neither two will do that, so spineless sexual assault excusing fucks the GOP are are throwing what they can behind the now-older drunken frat boy.

To some degree, I don't know how much the GOP does want the guy, especially now. Unfortunately for them, trump wants him 'cause k-whatever made mouth noises that sounded to trump like criminal immunity and their screamingest base only cares about "winning", and that's functionally all that matters.

Eh, it's more a "Villain status: It's Complicated" thing, iirc. Not so much evil as sort of a rabid animal kinda' thing. Manspider is still parker and doesn't want to be a rampaging manspider, but runaway mutations and whatnot. Eventually it gets fixed or somethin', I'unno. Squishing him would put you lower on the heroism totem pole than kraven the hunter and/or the punisher, if I'm not misremembering the blurb about that particular episode.

Hey, it hatched out of the man bit by the radioactive spider, so spider it is. That said, I'm pretty sure there's some "better" renditions out there, I just didn't take the effort to find them. And won't. Exercise for the actually interested and less lazy.

Yeah, linking is more annoying than I feel like right now, but give a google for Man-Spider, the cunning appellation for spiderman after his mutation went kinda' loco. Came up in the animated series at the absolute least. Actually decently on the ter side of rifying, ahaha. You'll know it by the giant fangs, some coming out the side of his head, and extra eyes.

... oddly, though, it doesn't look like the action figure I remember, which had spider arms with red claws and its back was like green and yellow striped spider arse. Hrm.

Ah, but what if it's one of the spiderman versions that have gone more spider? Pretty sure there's at least one that grew extra arms and spider face bits and whatnot.

... think I actually had/have an old action figure of the thing, stuffed gods know where. The spider bits were like yellow and green?
