But they do lash the arms shut, tighten the waist, and tidy up the neckline... though some sort of non-belt choker might work better, there. It's like tucking in your shirt, just... around the neck.

Our old Maine Coon would purr when you were just sitting next to her and Friendly Neighbour Cat, a black cat I'm pretty sure was a Bombay that lived across the road used to purr the moment it saw people and promptly come over to them.Yeah, I've seen it before, it's just been a good few years, and just started in like the last day or two. Caught me by surprise.

In unrelated wtf, something I haven't seen in a while, one of the kittens I've been familiarizing with people and skritches has started purring when I get close to it. Normally they don't purr until you touch them, this one revs up when I get within touching distance.
On the one paw, it's adorable. On the other, uh, maybe reign in the enthusiasm yakkat, this is somewhat excessive.
