How does a small-for-his-breed chihuahua manage to occupy an entire queen-size comforter?
By living with people unwilling to toss it off the comforter, presumably. Small breed dogs are remarkably incapable of holding their ground when something doesn't want them to. They're like cats, except worse in roughly every way in terms of self defense.

It is difficult to pet seven cats with only two hands.

... kitten acclamation is continuing well, though, and it's looking a lot like the mother is finally going to have a litter that survives. Is nice. Would be nicer if one of the four that's her's was closer in coloration to their parent (she's a vivid very low white content tortiseshell), but eh.

Not too far is arguably further than said angry people's previous applicable distance, though...

Y'know, that reminds me of a story about a hunter and a bear. It's much wordier but the summary is thus:

Hunter sets out to hunt bear, finds bear, bear forcibly performs foul sexual acts on him, sends him on his way.

Hunter guns up, sets out for revenge, bear forces him to perform foul sexual acts again, sends hunter on his way again.

Hunter upguns again, hunts down the bear again, bear asks hunter what hunter is really there for, because it's starting to look likely the hunter isn't there to hunt anymore. The end.

Reddit would appear to be the bear for you.

All of you are obviously cold-blooded lizard people and I'm going to shoot down the sun.
You have my bow.
Quote from: Overlady 6-4
“For thousands of years, mankind has dreamed of destroying the sun! But today, I shall go beyond that! I shall exceed the greatest dream of humanity, and I shall devour the sun! It will replace my feeble and decrepit human heart, its power fuelling me and me alone, and through this I shall rule over a blackened world forever! I am invincible! I am unstoppable! I am… you know, my left arm is really hurting. I wonder why? Oh well. Today is the day of my ultim…”

– The last words of Pope Obteneratus III

Seriously though yeah, fuck the daystar. Figure out how to survive without it and I'll be the first person to stuff the damned thing in a box and launch it into some other sun.

... yeah, as near as I can tell, a ninja-styled game of that nature earlier than shadow tactics just doesn't seem to exist. Your earlier generation for that sort of thing is the desperados and commandos stuff, basically.

At the absolute least, if it's a thing, it probably didn't get localized into english, so... yeah. Good luck, heh.

Presumably roughly the same way you bread anything? Or just kinda' sticking it on/in there, etc. Sticking foodstuff to other foodstuff can be fiddly but it's usually not that big of a deal.

5663
Possibly Shadow Tactics?

Grandfather seems to be trying to suggest he could get me the job of auditor for the town's finances. Now, on one hand, he probably could. On the other, A, I'm actually employed at the moment and pretty content with it, and B, my first prospective professional advice as a potential auditor for a town's fiances: Don't hire the grandchild of a former city official on the basis of a 2 year general accounting degree and no experience.

Like holy shit even if they can do the job and you're really that sodding desperate it is incredibly hard to make a hiring decision that looks sketchier than that does. Neps harder than a neptunia meme, bloody hell.

I actually kinda' hate cumin. Not because of the taste, but because the damn stuff looks basically identical to cinnamon and I have to regularly stop myself from putting cumin on something I was trying to put cinnamon on. I haven't done it yet, but the stuff's cost me minutes of my life to having to put it back up and find the cinnamon.

Like... theoretically, the particular report that's referring to was in reference to a specific report and its data collection, with there still being room for something else to be monitoring the stuff, for what it's worth and iirc. Read parts of the thing when it first was getting reported on out of curiosity regarding whether it was as bugfuck as it looked on the reported tin.

... never did get around to checking to see if that something else actually exists, though. Considering who was running the EPA and this administration in general, I wouldn't exactly be surprised if it didn't.

On the surface of it, having voter IDs does sound reasonable, but the problem is that a certain party has been using it to disenfranchise minorities and makes it more difficult for some segments of the population to vote. Until it can be guaranteed that said IDs will be issued to absolutely everybody, it's going to be controversial. Probably going to need to throw in a federal voter database as well.
It's also trying to treat a problem that basically doesn't exist. Of every potential vulnerability in our voting systems, the individual level fraud a voter ID would defend against is pretty much the absolute least important and impactful.

And yeah, ain't that one fun, isp? Grandfather actually has asbestos influenced COPD from his navy years, so it's not exactly comforting to see this particular line of laxity showing up.

Like... I haven't ate hard shell tacos with anything in them in about as long (though I have occasionally munched on one by itself as a snack. Things are basically a giant tortilla chip.), but vis a vis a point I personally do something similar with chicken. I really, really like pretty dry chicken (or turkey, or whatever when it comes to meat), and a significant portion of the why is because it's way better than juicer chicken at soaking up other flavors. If the taco juices are what's softening the shell and it's causing the flavor to infuse the thing, that might be the "point" right there.

... now, if that's not what's happening, then I got nothing.

Best Touhou Nitori agrees with the first part.  Er, hopefully just the first part.  I think kappa joke about eating humans... but that's just jokes, right?
Nah, they're more about the whole ripping your soul out your ass thing, but eating people looks to have been on the table. Also rape and less consumptive murder, heyo. Other stuff, too. Could also be pretty chill turtlemonkey things, but those jokes probably weren't jokes.
