Huh. Soul armor recollect has a sequel (?), chimera recollect. It's... more of the same, largely, but instead of an armor thing you're a chimera switching out body parts to turn yourself into a horrific amalgamation of pinballing death. Or a cat with butterfly wings (instead of arms), whatever.

It's nice.

Minor tip, dragon head at level five-ish (and dream version sooner) can one/two shot dream world starting area dragons with flame (and the rest of the initial area critters, for that matter). Pump your score on non-elites/later area critters and it's a pretty great way to make money if you're jonesing for dosh.

As someone now living in Florida, suck it up. This is nothing compared to Arizona.
It's still fairly tame at the moment. I've been to arizona during the height of summer, and I'd make the trade in an instant if it were an option. Dry heat fucks me up far less than humid heat does.

E: though, mind, if options are being considered to the abyss with both and off to somewhere that doesn't spend much the year cosplaying fiery hell would be the way to go

So many dead worlds, heh. Seem to recall it being remarkably easy to render a planet into a dust ball...

Conservative levels of domestic terrorism? Liberals and the left in general were the ones doing a lot of domestic terrorism in the 70's, so, there's really no such thing as 'conservative levels of domestic terrorism', just 'domestic terrorism'. Or maybe I'm misunderstanding what you meant here.
The single largest source of domestic terrorism in the US has been from conservative sources, far as I can recall for longer than I've been alive. Even when leftwards sources have upticked, rightward ones have remained dominant. There very much is such a thing as "conservative levels of domestic terrorism", though I guess you could call it rightwing, too.

Boil something in there for a while first if you want to try a worse off florida one. Ruddy humidity.

There's not really room to escalate more when it comes to court packing, at this point, tho'. Actually increasing the numbers is pretty much all that's left, thanks to the goddamn GOP, who are going to escalate regardless. Can make the argument it's a good idea to head 'em off at the pass, if it's an option.

Any case, I'm fairly ambivalent on the subject. Much as I'd prefer norms to stay normal, a certain set of regressive fucks have taken a decades long dump on that option, so... yeah. Whatever ends up putting out the dumpster fire and unscrewing the bastard GOP out of political and, more importantly, administrative relevance, I'm probably going to be pretty okay with.

Preferably no outright murder or conservative levels of domestic terrorism, mind. Still a ways off from being that far gone, probably.

Since there's no director we can just dissolve the EPA right
Sadly there's an interim director and he's basically as much of a piece of shit as fucker pruitt. Just probably less blatant about the petty corruption and ethics violations.

also the EPA'd be more or less fine if we could excise goddamn republicans out of it

Huh. So that's what the transcendence critter is doing nowadays?

Really, the best thing about coelho is how easy to parody he is. I wish I could show you another Coelho spoof that a guy in my country wrote a while ago "The tale of the young farmer who was in love with a camel". I might actually write a translation if there is popular demand  :D
Dunno about popular, but there's demand :P

Mod gifts keep giving. Shield burst construct is a delightful farce. Giving it an endless attempt, my first two third act boss fights (both donu and deca) were both one-shot on the first turn.

Outside that, biggest single hit I think I've seen so far was... either three or six thousand-ish (vuln + 999 block burst + pen nub). Not even trying for it, sometimes hammer down draws just mean I incidentally end up with 999+ dex, which makes for a sodding huge kaboom when it empowers a block card.

... any case, build's fairly simple. I have a handful of dex/block cards (my starting strikes are all gone, as is attack mode), a couple mega-upgraded hammer downs (because somehow, someway, a non-exhaust card that quadruples your dex and strength made sense to someone), and then a couple shield bursts (which eats all your block, then deals 3x the amount to all enemies). Add in calipers because of course having to build up one-hit tko levels of go-bugger-yourself in a single turn was apparently too much to ask, and you got a faceroll and a half.

It's pretty great :V

IRC isn't a bad idea, so long as you and your players are comfortable with it. Skype or discord or snail mail wouldn't be, either, really. Medium matters, but not nearly as much as the people that are going to be involved, and what they're going to be able to use, and use comfortably and consistently.

... though, won't lie, now I kinda' want to hear about a dnd campaign played over smoke signals. Maybe old timey telegraph, morse code and all.

Last I paid much attention it's primarily the socialization aspect generally involved, though there's some other things. Not so much religion itself save insofar as its bitsies lend themselves well to forming the sort of in-groups human neurology tends to react well towards.

I may be the only person in Missouri that drives with the windows down and AC off in 95 degree weather. SWEATING IS HEALTHY PEOPLE. Also I work in 36 degree coolers all day so it's refreshing to me. My car said it was 110 and I was like, 'Awesome, let's roll.'
Sweating can be, but it can also put you in the hospital/morgue and generally makes a person, y'know, stink. Also stains clothing. It's a nuisance and potentially a notable negative if you're interacting with other humans.

90s plus temp can just fuck off in general, though. Goddamn death air trying to kill people.

More than prank call, they apparently got cadet bonespurs to call them from the plane. Not even getting their foot in the door, so to speak, they got him to walk out of his own accord.

Mostly just yet another sign the state department et al is kinda' fucked at the moment, really.

Well, this just happened:
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

... for those that haven't played around with mods, that's the mad scientist, and the thing of note is that little A with a 15 besides it. Mad scientists have a skill that, for the cost of a point of fuel (the class's unique resource), let's you plays a card X (where X is the number of automate stacks you have) more times for the rest of the turn -- echo form as a skill, basically, and without echo form's sanity check.

Of particular note is that automate stacks, and moreover stacks with itself. So if you play it once, you play a card twice. If you play automate with a stack of automate already running, well, now you have three stacks of automate. Play it again, and, well...

... you can potentially end up with fifteen (or more, particularly if you have, say, lightbulb and unceasing top, which I didn't have the energy gain card) stacks of automate, and gain multiple hundred block off a single card replicated fifteen extra times. Whee~

Sadly, deca didn't live long enough for things to get even sillier. Alas. also, fyi, while the rest of the mad scientist builds are relatively more reasonable, fuel builds are all kinds of broke as all hell. It's pretty great :V
