It probably depends on just how spacefaring they are. Iirc there's stellar phenomena (novas, mostly?) that can more or less scour most everything within a damn long distance. If you can get out and about, but not out and about enough to avoid stuff like that, you're still in the extinguish zone.

It's certainly better for survival than being stuck inside your planet's atmosphere, but it's not a surety without some caveats. You need to be able to reach (and live in) other solar systems at a minimum, methinks, and that alone might not actually be enough.

Now, if you can get out there, and spread your species far enough any particular chunk of it can vanish in a blaze of fiery death without major issue, then yeah you're going to be pretty much impossible to get rid of, at the absolute least until we're a lot closer to universal heat death or somethin'.

Just reincarnate as a disembodied laugh track. It'd be like transmigrating into a ghost, but with much more laughing than normal. A will o' the wisp of canned laughter.

... yeah, quick look at it and the writing's fairly decent for what it is. Pretty inoffensive so far.

Mash reruns on TV still has commercials. Watching paint dry is better than watching TV :V

... unless for some ungodly reason someone managed to put TV commercials in paint, I guess. I'm not sure how you'd do that and it's entirely sure whoever does should be killed for the good of humanity, but eh.

Hey, there's a decent chunk done by ladies, too. Male protag/writers definitely are a majority but other sorts have been getting in on the isekai fun.

Incidentally, that specific one seems to be about 270 chapters and is apparently done. Unofficial translations up to chapter 60ish, so far.

... also I'm a sucker for game elements so I'll probably end up reading it at some point, heh. Probably schlock, but hey, it's better than watching TV.

Depends on the internal organ. Also hear we can do some pretty impressive (if not necessarily comfortable or conducive to long lifespans) things with tubing, these days. It's getting more optional by the year!

Actually just won a run, heh. Ranger, lucked into finding sprint (action card, standard one cost but gives 3 AP and 3 draw, stupidly good target for imitation) mostly... by the end boss I was running through my entire 17(?) card deck every round. Still got ate once by the end boss and a few other times along the way, but hey!

... that saaaaiiidd, yeah, some of it is RNG as hell. No condition end boss actually has a mechanic where you have to choose from three options each round... which can range anywhere from heal yourself for 10 HP to heal the boss for 90% of the damage you did last round, make it invincible for a turn, drop 2(? iirc) of whatever you draw, etc. First attempt I died round three, second I didn't lose half my health before it died, despite basically playing identically each time.

Still fairly enjoyable, but damn if it's not very much hella' luck based right now.

Also the monkey third chapter boss is much, much less dangerous than the tree was. Still kinda' nasty, but its heaviest attack is HP based and fairly rare, whereas the tree just spews jackassery everywhere and has like three 10-20+ damage cards, multiple draw cards, and the ability to actually double-turn on you. Balance is all goddamn over the place, ahaha.

Salads largely are healthy for you... if you lay off the dressing. Salad dressing tends turn healthy salad into "you might as well have just drank a(n extra) soda", roughly speaking.

Card draw becomes much less of an issue as you pickup draw cards and gain some levels. You do basically throw everything out every time you draw but there's some play order and deck building and all your normal card game stuff going on.

Definitely a pretty neat game. Very much does feel a lot like someone did a tales grimm take on a mobile designed slay the spire. Currently seems to be on sale for the low price of nothing, too, which is great.

... if sorta' brutally fucking difficult after the second or so boss holy hell. Don't fight devils (Kinda' forgot to check if it lasts post fight, but the bastards have a card that will chunk off 10 points from your max hp), probably don't fight headless horsemen if you deck is particularly unbalanced, don't fight yetis, probably don't fight toad prophets, question fighting those bouncy demon things unless you're tank as hell or can destroy 130+ hp at the quickness because they will spit 20-30+ damage per turn regularly, jesus fuck that level ten treeboss and its easy 50+ damage per turn and might-as-well-be-infinite mana (you're unlikely to have over 100 hp at that point so you basically have two to three turns to burn through 170(+, if it throws up shields) hp or you die).

Solo didn't get seen because it's a disastrously produced, horribly advertised, inexplicably cast Extruded Star Wars Product that nobody asked for, just like The Force Awakens was.
Y'know, I haven't really felt like checking, but is this solo thing actually related in any way to the EU pre-movies solo trilogy books? Lando had something similar, and I vaguely remember one or both being kinda' neat.

They do accept straight characters as straight, though, and plenty often. Least if by accept you mean recognize that as the original writer's intent.

... folks just also like to see if they can contrive a situation where they're not, or say to hell with it and ship things anyway for fun. Something like half the point of fanfiction is to screw with canon, after all.

It has been my experience that 99% of fanfic is just gay love fantasies about the protagonists of whatever story the fanfic is based on. No idea why.
It's not 99% (I'd probably wager it's less than a plurality at the end of the day, if possibly barely, but it's been a while since I last checked the actual numbers and varies with fandom regardless) but there's definitely a shitload of it.

Least in part it seems to be demographics. A fair bit of the fanfic writing community is young and female, to much appearances as titillated by homosexual shenanigans of their preferred cake as anyone, and for various reasons somewhat inclined towards strongly character based junk. Basically you have a sizeable chunk of the writers enjoying the material, so lots of it gets written.

... though if you're using gay as gender neutral rather than male inclined, it holds fairly true for fandoms with primarily female protagonists, too. Ultimately plenty of folks just like sexually charged homosexual material, even if they're not personally homosexual.

Supernatural, apparently. TV series. Never watched any of it, but after a mo' I recognized it from the fairly massive amount of slash smut that exists of 'em. Swear it's near as hard to avoid those two as it is naru/saku stuff when browsing naruto fanfiction, some days.

Hotdamn, my garden thermometer measures 37C. And it's not even in the sunlight. Make that 42C in the sun.
Average temperature for may in the Netherlands is 18C. For June, 21C.
We've had nearly two weeks of 25C+ and a few days of 30C+ now, but today it's just crazy.
Must be said that my hometown Eindhoven always is the warmest spot in the country for some reason, but still.

I need an ice machine.
Incidentally, if you have ice, a bowl of water and however much ice you can spare sitting in front of wherever the incoming air flow for a room is can do wonders. Put it in front of a fan and the cooling effectiveness goes way up. Good stuff when it's too hot for comfort and you have limited AC access for whatever reason.

Want to say just a bowl of water can help out, too, just not as much. Might depend on how fast it's evaporating... just making a room more humid doesn't tend to make things better.

... I could have done without knowing you get off on beating undead children, honestly.

Please don't explain any further what sort of busting you do while spanking the restless dead of minors.
