Not sure which mod it is off the top of my head, but there's at least one that has an item that'll auto-build a hellevator for you, by the by. It's nice. Makes a much prettier one than I'd bother making by hand, and on medium or large maps at least usually takes less time to make, too.

Because they enjoy it. For whatever reasons, having their cognitive capabilities mangled into a potentially life threatening and/or murderous mess is fun instead of an exercise in existential horror or whatev'. It wouldn't really be that big of a deal if it didn't kill/maim/ruin-the-lives-of so many people, heh.

Watching the first bit of a TAS to see if I cared to watch more and. Not sure if I was hearing right. But I was. Some of the robot enemies were, in fact, emitting death cries as they exploded.

Like. It makes some sense since a lot of the stuff you murder in the X series games actually are by and large as intelligent et al as any human, but. Still.

E: Though that does make me have the thought. If I ever design killbots in the future, make them emit the screams of dying children when attacked (alongside whatever other sonic based dickery can be included).

Bonus points for including on the fly data sifting to personalize the wailing based on whoever's attacking. I don't think anyone's actually tried to leverage metadata and whatnot to make a battlefield more of a hell, yet, and it strikes me that could be a thing in the future.

Huh. Turns out my suspicion that it's a bad idea to try to mow grass with a lawnmower belching smoke from the front was correct!

Thing's back where it's supposed to be now, but I kinda' wish mild confusion hadn't stopped me from preventing the person trying to use it from leaving the yard to begin with.

... also wish trying to learn stuff didn't hurt these days so I could have a better idea whether said person acting with casual confidence actually knew what the hell they were doing or was doing the senility thing again :-\

Filing a lawsuit does, in fact, change things, considering the special investigation hasn't filed the charges in question, though? And beyond that, that investigation isn't on behalf of the DNC nor even remotely obligated to seek damages for the organization in question. If they don't get nailed by the present investigation it's still entirely possible there's legal grounds for what the DNC is after. There's almost certainly overlap, but the DNC filing and whatever meuller's doing are going to be looking for somewhat different things as well as interpreting what's found through different lenses.

Though again, the folks charged can spew word vomit about collusion until the sun goes out and it'd mean jack all. They're not going to be considering charges of collusion because charges of collusion don't friggin' exist.

... beyond all that, it's possible they're filing the charges as what amounts to contingency, from what I've been noticing. Turtlebitch just recently nixed explicit protection for meuller's investigation and we're all aware of how stable trump isn't at this point. It's possible actors in the DNC are pulling this card out of worry the staggeringly corrupt fucks running this administration finally lose their already loosely held marbles and deep six the special investigation.

I mean... it literally was, in part. Far as we're aware from publicly available stuff, signs point to wikileaks working with russia and republican efforts to shit on their political opponents. They're a relatively minor player, I suppose, but if you're filing that sort of lawsuit they're fair game.

As for what's expected to be achieved, well, the article straight up says it. Monetary damages and public acknowledgement the entities in question did, in fact, conspire* to sabotage DNC efforts related to the 2016 campaign. If they've actually reached the point of physically filing a lawsuit like that, they probably think they have the evidence needed to get that, or some portion of it, out of a NY federal courtroom.

* Will say, I could half see that wording, specifically, being used as half the point. The collusion this and collusion that shite thrown around is legally bullshit, an empty thing with no legal definition worth mention. Conspiracy, on the other hand, very much is a legal concept that exists with weight and a nasty set of teeth. If certain folks start denying they were conspiring it might take a hefty chunk out of their ass in the futute and good goddamn riddance if it does.

E: And it's worth mentioning that something similar was filed against nixon, back in the day, that ultimately resulted in a good pile of settlement money. So... shit might actually be cash, ha.

As far as I can tell, A Centaur's Life has no connection to Monster Musume beyond both of them involving monstergirls. It's not a spin-off of anything else.

Also A Centaur's Life involves a vaguely Fascist/Totalitarian government enforcing racial equality with an iron fist. I don't believe it's a major factor in the show or story but apparently there are enough shady military officials standing about and references to 'correctional facilities' for people to draw such a conclusion. So that’s a thing.
... mind you, judging by that description it might still be a porn spinoff.* Iirc there's some centaur related stuff floating about that'd vaguely fit that kind of setting. The martial themes related to centaurs apparently lead certain media creators towards snappily dressed horse people with a penchant towards iron... horseshoes? Or something. Can be buggy, and in general it plays kinda' slow, as well as being pretty brutal difficulty wise. Still, providing it runs right on your rig, it's pretty alright. Not amazing for most tastes, but decent enough. Definitely worth the bandwidth, at the absolute least, for most folks.

Depends on the jurisdiction, yeah. Some other things, too, probably. I wouldn't be surprised if family or something could veto the decision after you kicked it, ferex, even if it was otherwise legal to eat human once whatever surrounding issues were dealt with.
