Want to say that means something has turned running javascript off, or is stopping it from running the script in question. Which borks things exactly like you're describing.

Pop up/ad blocker or no-script addon/extension/whatever would be a possible culprit, if it helps any. Some browsers let you fairly easily fiddle with when/how/if JS runs, too.

Oldschool is... somewhat expected from a game published in 2004, heh. Particularly when it's a smaller studio. Definitely some clunky bits to it, but it's pretty neat. Might be worth checking out the modding scene for it, too -- iirc there's at least one pretty massive one that adds/tunes up a lot.

I mean. You can do that to soylent, too, I guess. Some of us wouldn't judge. Sounds messy, though...

Also not so much an irish thing as an "anywhere people eat potatoes" thing, from what I've noticed. Potatoes are apparently fairly universally delicious to human palates.

Haggis is definately Scottish.
It is now, but apparently the term itself originated in england :P

Does it really matter? They'll confiscate your haggis and throw you out if you insist you don't have any.

... that said, it's traditionally scottish at this point, yes. Doesn't mean other folks can't make it, but eh.

Transcendence was more or less one person developed for most of its development lifetime. I think at least parts were eventually kinda' handed off to active members of its community, or something along those lines.

Solid bit of work, though, regardless. Used to play the hell out of it, think I even screwed around with modding a (very small) bit, myself.

This strawberry cheesecake ice cream is stupidly good. It being walmart's brand I'm sure something in it is vaguely deadly or some part of the production process immoral, but taste wise holy hell someone was on point when they made this stuff.

Blegh. Something seems to have gone hella' whack with the mod browser, downloads and updates refuse to work for me. Fortunately, found the web address the browser downloads crap from, so... it's mostly all good, if more annoying. List o'mods has gotten even stupider, because incompatibility issues are for scrubs.

Speaking of that, what do you happen to be running this time, mod wise?

I'd give good odds largely because it makes the discussions involved less painful. Shit's already bad enough with the overly broad junk as it is.

I'd been half wondering about that last bit. Seems kinda' questionable how much it'd help. During previous admins, or a less self-destructive one, sure, but tugging on bureaucratic levers kinda' requires the levers to be there and vaguely functional. Whereas unfilled posts and malfunction have been a consistent refrain for this administration.

... anyone happen to know of a decent resource for parsing vehicle coverage exclusions? For reference, I'm looking at this pile of nonsense
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

And trying to figure out what's left, that would render the 150+/month USD the policy holder is paying worth it, when I'm not exactly familiar with car bitsies.

Driving back home, good bit of smoke on the road. Can't help but to enjoy what it does to the ambient light intensity. Wtf comes when I find myself thinking, "You know, maybe nuclear winter wouldn't be that bad."

You know, with as much mud being slung about, I've yet yo hear anything particularly unsavory about the Mueller investigation, which is impressive. Even if he doesn't turn out to be the silver bullet everyone is looking for, I'm hoping that something comes out of their work.
Stuff already has came out of their work, though. Not on trump specifically, but there's already been convictions and whatnot doled out. As slow as things may feel at times, dude's been basically doing a special investigation speedrun in terms of results, iirc.

It's just likely there's more to come considering the entities being investigated are, y'know, corrupt as all hell as a baseline.

Society of bird lovers, they said. Rules in place to prevent harm from coming to the birds, they said. Hoop and holler about some idiot screwing with the birds, they make a fuss about.

BY THE WAY HAVE YOU HEARD OF THE JOY AND WONDER OF COCKFIGHTING BIRDBRAWLING, the "unbearably cute battle royale", they promptly follow up with.

Game, you're sending very mixed messages, here.

E: jesus hell they had the local cockfighting ring official bird lover organization member basically orgasm at the thought of cheering on the birds as they beat the shit out of each other

E2: one of the opposing birds was nicknamed mao
mao was the first to die

E3: when the birds are killed in these five on five cockfighting melees, they turn transparent and spiral into the sky with a halo over their head

what the blue hell have I ran into with this shit
