Incursion's got it. It's not really mass-spam sort of necromancer, but they're solid so far as dead critter minion goes.

... yeah, I'd probably be more nostalgic about stuff if I could remember much of it without some kind of prompting. Never really been particularly focused on that sort of remembrance to begin with, and these days trying generally just leaves me mildly depressed (well, more than usual) as a reminder my memory's going to shit. So try to not dwell on it much, heh.

Do kinda' miss any number of the more energetic folks that have trundled off over the years, though. It's... encouraging, I guess, to interact with people that have that sort of drive. Ameliorates some of the frustration having trouble engaging like that brings up. Seem to have less of it lately-ish, though gods know part of that is probably just some sort of projection or somethin' along those lines.

And it's s'a'ight, xant. Been putzing around for over a decade now, m'self, apparently.

Least from what I've seen, there's a gap between too big to use well and too big to fail particularly easily. A thirty/forty card deck can get rolled over pretty easily, a fifty+ card deck lolorolls the game. It's fairly interesting, really. Suggests the balance tuning is pretty on point for normal gameplay.

Pretty sure much of NWN2 got panned fairly hard, actually, though I forget the details. It did alright but there was a hefty bucket of criticism dumped on it. First one was better received, iirc. Something along those lines, anyway.

D:OS 2 is indeed pretty damn great, though, from what I've seen. It might not be as good as everyone says it is 'cause gods know hype can get crazy, but it's definitely one of the better entries for its design niche, past or present.

I'm a churchgoing Christian (aka the sex police) and I could absolutely not care less about whatever stupid sexual BS the President is into.

Also, my liberal friends talk way, way, way more about sex and how wrong people are for not adopting their views on it than anyone in my church. More so than my church in general, even.
So serial philandering and violation of marriage vows means sod all to you as a christian, and that sort of thing has no bearing on your view of their fitness as a president, gotcha'.

Have to say that's refreshing, in a sense. Most sort I've met over the years at least draw up a veneer of sanctimonious babble on the subject. If only the rest of christian religious folks would apply that sort of view, maybe we could unwind the several centuries of raw bullshit the religion in general has injected into societal norms regarding sex and relationships, get them out of marriage laws and sex ed, decriminalize prostitution, maybe cut out those exceptions for underage marriages still screwing around mostly because of 'em, who knows what else. Plenty to choose from, really.

There's probably commentary to be made on how much easier to is to be quiet on a subject when you're in the advantageous position and rely quite a bit on ignorance and pointed silence to stay that way, but eh. I'm sure all discussion (or lack thereof) on sex is equally valuable and no positions on it are actually wrong.

Frankly this affairs confirms me in the idea that the liberal left is as much sexually coercive as the religious right.
And that, there, is about a sixty ton pile of utter bullshit. Most of the shitflinging you see from the left on this crap is hauling off on the hypocrisy involved, not some kind of condemnation of sex work. You actually have efforts leftward to decriminalize prostitution and all sorts of junk aiming to kneecap that sexual coercion you're mentioning. That damn sure doesn't exist to nearly the same degree, if at all, among the religious right.

Fuck no is the liberal left nearly as sexually coercive as the religious right. Still got problems on that front, sure, but you're talking gecko vs godzilla not some kind of dick kaijuu parity.

Health is health, and the military pays for plenty more than combat injury or random illness. Iirc the farce comparison re: cost bullshit is that the corps spend more on sodding viagra alone than they have on trans treatment overall. Never mind the cost argument is coming primarily from fucking republicans that regularly dump spending on the military they don't even friggin' want, or all the other crap that pisses all over the attempt to excuse this shit as fiscal concern.

More or less. Don't think it's quite that blunt, but it might as well be. Now we get to watch it get tangled up in the courts. Again, iirc.

nobody has brought up punitive damages, because you're right about that. but nobody cares about assessing punitive damages. actual damages would be fine here. maybe attorneys' fees if we're being extravagant.
What kind of nutjobbery is involving an attorney in a sub-hundred dollar refund claim? Your actual damages, assuming the court ruled in your favor to begin with (note I'd probably be pretty damn hesitant assuming that stateside, if you're trying it over here -- there's not much protection for getting burned by something like KS if you're of sound mind, last I paid attention), would be whatever you backed at most. For most people that's small claims court junk, and bringing a lawyer into that is how you lose an order of magnitude more money than you were suing for.

I guess you could try for some kind of class action thing? I'unno, bringing something like this before a judge in general, particularly just for the cost of the "damages" a backer incurred, sounds more pants on head than still wanting to give more money to the project at this point in time.

... actually, quick glance at legal action involving the amounts that would be in question here suggests that anything that's not class action or punitive would be basically bloody stupid. Weeks to months of court effort for a refund probably lower than the cost to file the claim, that you might not even get at the end of it all. You'd need a good pile of spite and a lot of time on your hands to go through with it. Hell, if you actually are trying to stiff the dev with the attorney fees I doubt you could even call it justice or some shite given how much more money that'd pretty certainly involve than the amount generally backed.

Dunno if I even have much of a point here, other than to note this talk of legal repercussions sounds like lunacy when for most folks they're out like, what, 30 bucks or some junk? Maybe a BBB or consumer protection complaint or somethin'. Simple money voting, for what good it'd do at this point. There's not much room for a courtroom to get involved with this situation without someone having gone kinda' loco.

Disinfectant, accelerant (or whatever the word is). Most do, but that doesn't change the existence of rubbing alcohol and molotovs.

We just recieved an order or jack daniels liquor fudge caramels. I didnt even know they made these.
... which is a mild wtf to me, because I'm pretty sure I did know folks made those things, and I avoid recreational alcohol like the plague it's been on my family tree.

They also tend to have a base facsimile of ethics, though, and don't spend much time, say, actively funneling millions of tax dollars into their businesses while buggering off for the weekend or whenev'. Or dedicate however much of their efforts into enriching businesses they have investments in (or at least second order investments). Whatever else I haven't noticed.

E: Though I guess the shit is pretty pisspoor at money management, at the end of the day. Maybe openly wallowing in corruption like no president we've seen before still won't save his pocket book in the end. I'd say one could but hope, but I'd rather we just not waste the money on the bastard's shenanigans to begin with.

It's probably a hold-over from Dom 4, which obviously didn't have a strength bonus on its ranged weapons. So not so much of a bug as an oversight?
Eh? Some of them definitely had some strength interactions. Might have just been range, but I could swear there was some (grotesquely gem inefficient) hilarity with high strength >2 arm critters and fire bolas or somethin' like that. Maybe I'm remembering D3?

Though the standard bows definitely didn't, so holdover could still be accurate.

No offense martinuzz, but police have been murdering black guys for profit and kicks for as long as modern policing has existed. There's not going to be any seachange now, certainly not in the legal realm.
pretty sure it's longer than modern policing has existed, but eh

That said, right now, no. I'd give decent odds that, everything else staying steady-ish, fifty years from now or sooner will be a different conversation at the absolute least so far as stateside goes, though. Shit is not going to last all that long once majority minority kicks in and manages to finish unfucking the situation re: political repression. Maybe earlier depending on how fed up more techborn generations get with (lacking) body cam et al and the mess they make more obvious.
