Fairly standard sotu, near as I can tell, at least for trump. Will say I agree with some folks observation that the rhetoric re: NK looking notably like rhetoric re: iraq in '02 is pretty god fucking damn concerning.

Hey, extreme cold environments do tend to see life accumulation around thermal vents, iirc, so... it's not as unlikely as you might think?

Well... bankrolled certification usually can't be a bad thing even if it's a prelude to getting jettisoned, so... good luck? I guess?

So, uh. State of the union address in like... ten minutes? Apparently. Chances of me watching it functionally zero, but... still. Corrupt admin notably bought and paid by russian interests phoning in retaliatory measures against hostile foreign power actively undermining electoral process is maybe less interesting than whatever farce is about to cross the airways. Mostly since that's less a question of if it's happening and more one of if the GOP is actually going to give a shit about our country getting sold up the river before someone manages to vote the fucks back into a minority. Spoiler, the craven shits aren't, but eh.

I could not tell you. Go find Two and ask them, instead.

Like a lot of things, it's what your DM will let you get away with. The text does specify combatant, after all - I don't get it off allies who are grappled or otherwise inhibited.
I assure you, the monkey on my back is ready and entirely willing to gouge out eyes as opportunity allows. It has even been given a pointy stick to aid in this endeavor. Presumably it's one of the longer armed species.

Also the lizard's totally a miniature dire horned lizard. Blood based blinding attack on tap, y'dig? Nobody expects the entirely literal lizard in your pants to squirt jets of blood from its eyeballs. Nobody.

Advantage or within five feet of an allied combatant.
Yes, yes. Excuse me while I find a source of summon monster and hide a lizard in my jacket for all the sneak attacks forever. My eternal thirst for extra d4s is in fact a literal monkey on my back, thank you.

Also remember folks, just like georgia is full of shitty places to live, georgia makes excellent sarcasm fertilizer. Cover your sarcasm in georgia to make sure no one misses its growing season.

*shrugs* If they actually catch jail time and not just a fine, yeah. All things considered, especially with it catching news unless something odd happens I'd expect a fine and a gtfo my country instead of jail time for the few not already released.

Looks to be twenty year olds and whatnot, though... less kids, more young adults, if barely. Right along that edge you start trending towards taking youthful stupidity as less of an excuse.

Wapo one was from yesterday, checking the date on it, if you're interested enough to keep looking. I'd link, but again at least one of the pics the cops have released you legit can't really tell if they are or aren't actually fucking, heh. Might as well not toe the line if google's sitting there ready to help out.

Yeah, wapo had some of said photos. Some of that was a helluva' lot more than just slightly indecent, heh. Clothes looked to mostly stay on, but, uh. I'm half sure I'd violate forum ToS to post the more blatant one I saw.

Problem looked to mostly be where they were at, though, and the ones in question were rounded up with a few dozen others at a pool party they maybe shouldn't have been flaunting crap about that close to a holy site. It's easy to take things too far, but at least on the initial look I think I'm fairly sympathetic towards cambodia's position on this particular incident, m'self. Stupid games and stupid prizes and whatnot.

E: Though cam's lot were pretty explicit that they got places you can strip down and get wild at. Moral of the story is more don't go about dry humping just outside the temple district and posting pics of it before your boner's even gone away, near as I can tell, heh.

Don't play Twister if you go backpacking in Cambodja.
Nine foreign backpackers are standing trial now for 'pornographic dancing', after playing Twister at a party in a hired bungalow. They could face years in prison.
what the hell kind of game of twister were they playing for the cops to get involved to begin with is what I'm wondering

Like, was this clothes optional, intentionally forgot to close the windows, porn moaning audible from a mile away twister or what? There's details missing, here.

E: Ooh. Yeah, looked it up, to all appearances folks were basically (just barely not) fucking in public within spitting distance of angkor wat. Like, uh. Suddenly things make more sense, ha.

Penalties look like they cap off at a fine and/or at-most a year in prison, though, not years jailed.

Oh... radio, I normally play mp3 instead, but if the opportunity's not there I'll flick over to NPR or whatever fairly often, least if it's doing music instead of news-y bits. Classical's always nice, and sometimes they do some neat other stuff... celtic/irish bits, various folk music, etc. Occasionally there's opera, which I don't take the opportunity to listen to very often. It can be nice. When I'm in larger areas there's usually a jazz station or two I'll be down with, too.

... but yeah, I don't drive much but family very often, most of which I avoid inflicting my mp3 player playlist on, but occasionally there's someone. Experience is still about how you mention it. Folks that say "whatever" tend not to actually mean they're down with high energy OCRemix followed by gospel (whether it's traditional or something like E Nomine, well...) followed by electroswing, remixed classical, literally elvis, drinking songs, and so on. The bright side is my playlists tend to be eclectic enough (and I play them on shuffle anyway) I can usually hit next a few times and hit something they're okay with. I just have to skip the stuff that'll probably give them literal headaches.

E: well, and the stuff like good ship venus. I've actually snuck that one in a few times but no one's noticed the lyrics yet. They've noticed baltimore whores, though :V

Eh... I'unno about that. I don't browse often, 'cause physical media hasn't been terribly attractive since around the point the .mp3 or .wav existed, but most of the time I have over the years the selection's been pretty decent, variety wise. Especially compared to what seems to be the average citizen's preferences regarding musical breadth.

It's no internet and niche genre excavation smorgasbord, but you'll have pretty much everything you could expect them to maintain profit with, plus a smattering of other stuff for giggles. Especially if they have a used section of some sort, when in comes to the giggles portion.

E: Though it's admittedly possible my tastes are broad enough I don't notice a lack as much as someone with a fairly limited palate would, now that I think on it. My tastes in music are somewhere between expansive and schizophrenic, heh.

Say hello to the most wonderfully named fish in the world, the bony-eared assfish.
Hallowed member of the cuck eels. Sorry, cusk. "the bodies of assfish are soft and flabby." Yep. Apparently the assfish needs to work on its glutes.

Or to put it another way, lucky plumbers work with pipes, not wood. Unlucky ones deal with more than pvc, copper, or lead. Or whatever, depending on how much of an atrocity the original installation got away with, or how much of one their boss currently is trying to get away with.
