Awh, Mr. Rich Dumbfuck can't fuck over his shareholders with his big stupid mouth, boo hoo.  :D
..I pity his legal team though, but I guess they're decently compensated.
There's been at least one lawsuit from the legal teams involved with him and twitter over not being paid for services rendered, heh. Some of his legal teams might be decently compensated, but there's no guarantee of it.

Haven't looked into BAR very much, but Zero-K is indeed pretty neat. It's not Escalation neat, but it's still pretty good stuff.

... only problem is the published build apparently occasionally gets infected with malware, so, uh. Well, I uninstalled it and haven't looked back, heh.

It's not just to appeal to advertisers, it's also to keep away lawsuits and such, which are already ongoing and likely to get worse if they don't put some kind of stopper on the sources of it. The amount of scams and impersonation and shit that have populated on twitter since they omnifucked verification is faintly incredible, in the "how do you even fail this badly" sort of sense. There's been multiple reported cases of high level politicians and outright governments putting out some variation on "unfuck this mess you made or we're going to do it for you" over the last while.

The real trick with that is that "tolerate" is a continuum. Just because the dough doesn't like it doesn't mean it gets a choice in the matter! It may end up looking a little funny, but if there's a secret to bread it's that funny looking bread is generally still bread and still eats like bread.

Figure out a way to commit sandwich blasphemy with it. Put some between two slices of meat or somethin'.

TA's held up remarkably well over the years, really. Spring breathed some extra life into it, but even the original (especially + some mods) is solid to this day.

Y'know, having never seen that word applied to food, I was pretty confused for a bit there. I mean, they do make edible pasties, but it's not exactly the primary expression of the item in question.

Oh, you think that something wedged between two lasagna sheets is a sandwich do ya?

Fucking weirdo.
I'll say it again, stuff like this is making me doubt y'all have ever eaten lasagna. That stuff don't stay on the outside of whatever you eat with it or hold together with any sort of consistency, or if it does for whatever y'all are eating you folks make some weirdass lasagna.

Any case, you're free to make an exception for pasta if you really feel like it. There's a reason "something like" was in that sentence, you doofs.

It's pretty clear using just bread as a sandwich heuristic is flat wrong, though.

I'unno, from what I've seen their latest chops was some kind of streaming service they've managed to lead to what's approaching billion dollar losses. Investors have brains like goldfish with head injuries, though, so who knows.

I'd pay 8 dollars a month to make a friend
What, they don't have any non-for-profits out your way?
I pay like 70/year for a whole building of friends, and they mostly buy me drinks. But then again, I might have given up more of my life than I should have...
This is a lot more reliable than trying for twitter, heh. We've seen what ol' muskrat will do to twitter blue holders (cf. twitter files asshole, far more literally with relevant tesla owners), and it's throw them under a bus and then drive it back and forth a few times :V

Everything is natural because humans are natural.

I don't feel very natural.
The thing folks don't seem to like to remember is that nature is often staggeringly shit, so feeling or being natural isn't necessarily a good thing, heh.

Honestly, it's something of a useless term. If something was unnatural, it wouldn't be capable of existing under physical laws and we'd be neither able to perceive it nor interact with it. Natural's so broad a term it's bloody unhelpful to use it under most circumstances.

You cannot make sandwiches with waffles. The only way to make sandwiches with waffles is if you put the waffle in between the bread, like filler.
That's bupkis, though. Making a sandwich with waffles is as simple as putting standard sandwich fillers between two waffles. Somewhat amusingly, they make for superior PB&J sandwiches, too.

... throwing it back at you, though, if you think lasagna counts as particularly contiguous for purpose of sandwich making, I can only assume you've either never made it or never ate it :P

Since I like sandwiches, anything that makes my stomach happy is a sandwich.
This, though, is the best outlook. If sandwich buddha stands in the path to sandwich nirvana, cut the buddha down.

Now hold up, there. Waffles (and pancakes, for that matter) count for bread in sandwich making, no question.

Instead of bread, I'd say go with something like contiguous grain based material. That largely precludes things like sticking something between two dry ramen blocks (don't judge me, it didn't taste good anyway), while leaving waffles and pancakes, rightly, as possible structural sandwich components. It also okays most ice cream sandwich constructions.

Eat some grits and drink some iced tea and then come crawling back to me.
Though talkin' 'bout grits and ice tea at the same time you're dissing on PB&J is a wild thing to see. You'd be looked at real suspicious like if you're somewhere either of those is common but talkin' bad about that particular sandwich.

The hell? There are so many sandwiches with no meat at all, let alone nearly half the fillings.
It'd disqualify peanut butter and jelly sandwiches of all things, which is about as iconic a sandwich as sandwiches get, especially stateside. If that's accurate, that's one case where the USDA is talking out its cornhole and can't tell the difference between its ass and a teakettle.
