Nah, neville gave you a pretty obvious answer to that. If a prepubescent can survive being thrown out a window a few stories off the ground unharmed, it's likely pretty hard to kill the buggers with incidental stuff. Pretty sure the easiest explanation to defend for low population is just inbreeding and insularity.

E: And quite likely more the latter, tbh. Given the possibilities inherent in memory charms and whatnot, it wouldn't be surprising if there's a shitton of squibs running around the wizards just don't care to notice.

The Republican party has to be concerned about the fact that a conservative judge could die or retire in that time, and at that point what did they really accomplish?
You're assuming they particularly care about that far ahead, EH. I'm not sure if you've noticed, but long term thinking hasn't exactly been the GOP's forte.

Case in point, the speculation I've been seeing points to a gorsuch appointment being more about shoring up the trump presidency than anything else. Just about anyone conservative would have worked. Which is why they're willing to nuke it -- it's not about the SCOTUS seat, it's about getting a win for trump and the GOP, showing they can get something major through while they have the extent of control that they do.

E: Though if you're actually interested, baff, you can search one of the congress sites for bills that passed both house and senate, and check for ones that didn't have a vote. Every one of those had no opposition from either side, and there's not a particularly small amount of them, for all the impact is usually indeed not major.

E2: Ah, actually, it's this thing. Fiddle with the advanced options, filter for stuff that made it to the prez, and have a look around.

The emptiness of the spoiler speaks to the emptiness of their soul, scrive. It turns their edge inwards, as they become lords of the sharpness of the dark side of the moon.

Maybe? Inclination isn't certainty, and it's entirely possible for a pro-whatever group to be using numbers that seem to be (or are) counter to their point, due to all sorts of things. You check for a reason, more or less.

... y'know, y'all are going pretty hard on something I'm not sure I've ever seen actually happen. Books get challenged to hell and back and certain authors definitely get hit more, due to their preferred content, but actual blanket author bans is something I can't seem to find reference to in the last thirty, forty years or better -- and the last major call I can find was during the bloody nazi regime. Pornucopia or Bio of a Space Tyrant (i.e. Rape in Space, on Incest and Other Subjects) isn't exactly stopping Xanth books from being on the shelves, ferex. If rowling wrote a math book and it wasn't shit or had word problems related to figuring out the number of potential positions in a pagan orgy or somethin', basically no one would give a damn.

Author boycotts occasionally happen, but that has little to do with the actual book content (usually more to do with something the author did and subsequently not wanting to give the material support... which is fine -- that's speech, too.) and is roughly illegal in publicly funded libraries besides -- they've got room to keep some books out, but it has to be on content (or likelihood of usage, when space is of particular concern), not author. And private ones can do whatever the hell they want, by and large.

those are basically synonyms

E: Or, now that I double check, you're thinking deva. Different spelling, different thing, heh.

You can at least check methodology on how they're estimating, in cases like that. Impossible to tell is words politicians use when they can't be arsed to understand what the statisticians et al are saying, much of the time :P

7838
... man, if you trust the numbers on immigration/refugees used by politicians on your news and debate shows, your lot must have a hella' better record on that front than they do stateside. Particularly if they're being bandied about by anyone with a degree of animus towards the demographic in question.

Over here stuff doesn't exactly tend to take long before you get into "yeah, I should probably be checking the actual statistics instead of trusting what this asshole is saying about them" territory. Indulged on both sides of the discussion and bystanders as well, but the anti-immigrant folks in particular are somewhat notorious for it.

It's nice if they do have that record, though. TV appearing politicians not dragging data into a dark alleyway and vigorously fornicating it would be an interesting experience.

The character in Dark Souls / Demon Souls with the most porn is...............

The Wolf with the huge sword.
Maybe I'm misunderstanding dark souls lore, but it may have something to do with everyone else outside of Frampt, Stone Dragon, and Sif being either literal zombies, or covered in so much armor you can't actually be sure of their gender.
That just makes things better, tbh. Indeterminate gender just means more room to work with.

... that said, the actual most individually prolific looks to be priscilla (which is kinda' completely unsurprising) followed/matched by the collective level up chicks. Sif looks to be fairly far down.

It ain't about efficiency, MSH. Better options don't mean they have to be used. Sometimes a critter just wants the KY to have some kick.

And now I'm reminded spicy lubricant is probably a thing that exists. For once, I don't think I'm going to check. Some things you can do without knowing.

Rule 34. Everything has porn. It should not be a surprise to anyone, ever, and I have absolutely no idea why Undertale makes people reel when literally everything else ever made has pornography for it.
I mean, if I had to guess it's because of emotional involvement mixed with a bit of naivety about where boundaries (don't) exist in regards to things like, say, incest taboos. People seem to get pretty involved in the game, which for the unaccustomed can make it difficult to look at the thing from that particular angle. In retrospect I can see it, even with my last post expressing surprise at the surprise.

... yeah, I'm surprised that one is a surprise. Beyond having many of the signs of being susceptible, iirc the thing had porn floating around before it was even released. There's some things I might tentatively bet against r34 on (if perhaps only because actually checked and didn't find), but it didn't even occur to me that someone would think undertale wouldn't amass its quota of... art.

Well... if you're able and willing to root the device, it does look like there's some cpu limiting apps out there. You could replicate your experience, heh.

... I've actually done something similar a few times with PC shooters and BES. For whatever reason, most SHMUP devs don't program granular speed control into their options :P
