Doesn't this forum have a cooldown on creating threads/posts? I didn't look at the timestamps on this bot's posts, but if it's creating them this fast, then the site's security may have been compromised to get around it.
I'unno about threads, but I seem to recall a limit on PMs, at least. Haven't encountered it myself but some FG&RP frequenters have mentioned it, I think.

Yeah, it's prob just a search engine hit booster thing or somethin'. Kinda' weird it's only hitting the GD subforum, though. Not even getting the DF GD one.

Aiming to move through the manwha and WNs in order to appropriate japanese cultural tropes by way of second order osmosis, perhaps. It's a bit cumbersome, but it's legit.

They're still terrible people, but I'm glad they aren't regular party line voting conservative or moderate republicans because lots of folks would be fucked hard right now if any neutered form of the AHCA were able to make it through the Senate and House.
Flip side of that, if the caucus were either of those things, particularly if the situation was such a group like them didn't generate, a neutered form the AHCA quite likely wouldn't even have been on the table to begin with. Hell, if the GOP wasn't in a state that would spawn FC ilk, we might have even been fighting over changing a single payer plan instead of what we are.

... though, mind you, if that was the case it'd be questionable if there was anything being fought over at all. I'd be rather surprised if too many people in this country would still be resisting the change if they experienced it for a good handful of years, ha.

Still, point is more than you're welcome to be glad about it, but I wouldn't bother being thankful to the critters in question. You can be glad two groups of politicians are mutually cockblocking each other without having to be thankful to either of them.

Can't quite remember where I've seen it, but there's a few that manage alright, there. Go the route of letting anyone play with anyone, but the expansions or whathaveyou being needed to play as a particular faction. So long as the extra stuff isn't too wildly unbalanced and the base is meaty enough, it's a fairly decent setup to keep things from splitting too hard.

... dlc that effects main story or whatever stuff is generally still called an outright expansion. Or sequel or something. It's not as strident as whatever you ran into, but there's definitely some animus towards devs that lock major features behind dlc. Keeping people that buy your game from experiencing all the stuff you intended to be core to the game (and main story scale changes generally are) without paying more is something of a dick move. Basically selling an unfinished product, usually without telling the consumer that's what they're buying.

Cut content probably isn't the right term for it, exactly, since sometimes it's stuff that wasn't part of the initial conception, but it's something along those lines. Marketing/framing can help mitigate the reaction, though. Just call it an expansion and make sure it's decently hefty content wise and there probably won't be much backlash... so long as it's not like 0 day dlc or somethin', anyway.

... there's not. Mostly because even "moderate" GOP politicians stopped being moderate something like a decade or four ago. Probably for the best, really. Meeting half way these days would just mean constantly moving right, and that involves enough suffering and corpses without actively contributing to it (more, anyway).

Mostly hyperbole. Russian involvement looks increasingly likely, but it's not terribly likely the vote itself was tampered with, at least inasmuch as the cast votes and whatnot go (disenfranchisement et al is a separate discussion, but even that has more to do with the GOP being pieces of shit rather than foreign intervention). Not like this is the first time the EC's dropped the ball, heh. We're perfectly capable of managing that without help that direct.

Third in line would be ryan.

As for pence getting caught up in an impeachment, it wouldn't be automatic. He could still be nixed afterwards, and probably by roughly the same means, but the process would pretty certainly have to go through the motions. Pres and VP are indeed linked on the ballot, but they're not really considered so in most other ways. Conceptually that's even most of the reason you campaign for a particular VP, so the president has someone that's going to offer different views, have different political et al entanglements, etc.

No, no, not even remotely. They're still horrible little lie spewing cretins that want millions of our citizens to die, suffer, and fall into absolute poverty for whatever shite stews itself in their rotten brainpans. If you're going to be grateful to someone, direct it to the parts of the GOP that are sufficiently unfucked in the head the caucus couldn't get them to cooperate.
It's pretty much the epitome of why having businessmen take positions of government is a bad idea. It's pretty much the exact issues the county where my parents live had with their last county chief (non-elected mayor/governor-ish equivalent) except scaled up considerably.
grumble grumble

Said it before, said it again. Trump's problems have sod all with him being a businessman. Just about everything he's doing and has been doing throughout his history is basically "how to not business 101". Only reason the shit wasn't significantly less wealthy or in jail decades ago was because it's freakishly hard to end up like that when you start with the money and connections he did. He's an example of why a terrible administrator/CEO is terrible, and it's largely because they let all kinds of crap that have nothing to do with running a business influence how they attempt to run a business. Also why nepotism is sketchy as all hell. Trump senior's holdings and legacy would be in much better shape if he had given what he did of it to someone on the basis of competence instead of blood.

It's been about like that for a good long while, though. Wager at least a decade, possibly longer. Yahoo's commentable bits didn't take much time from inception to start getting nasty. Might be more pervasive these days, I suppose...

... well, it being rpg maker means the chances of me playing anything that actually appears is somewhere roundable to zero, but despite that, good luck? May you produce something of similar quality to what was promised.

Incidentally, if you're looking for a perfect venue of distribution, you should put the game into the wild as a CD sized .iso, filled with a bunch of random folders either empty or with scratched up programs that don't work, and then the game itself. Add an appropriate pop-up screen at some point in the game and you'll be able to really capture that old shareware junk CD feel, which would possibly be something of at least as much merit as the game you're setting out to make :P

Yeah, that sounds like it. They were pretty well liked in their time, iirc. Not strictly speaking base building, but it's something fairly close to it. Somewhere between as small scale as EG or something as wide as Civ or whatev'.

Eh, I'd definitely say the magic aspect is secondary for zeus, from what I played of it. It's primarily city management with some fantasy/mythological aspects included. There's a handful of less fantastic city builders along a similar vein, though. Think some even using the same engine. Just can't remember what the major ones were called.

Eh, if you're into EG, the dungeon keeper games might suit your fancy. Buncha' different attempts at spiritual successors in the last few years, too, though I couldn't say which ones approach decent.

Then you've got stuff like Stronghold (both the castle focused one and the much older fantasy town builder thingummy), maybe stuff along the lines of Zeus (though that's more city than just base), all sorts of mess off in that direction.
