And yet so many people were absolutely convinced that Sanders only cared about white men, and would do nothing for minorities. Media narratives are incredibly powerful.
All sorts of people were absolutely convinced about all sorts of shit, some of which sanders outright contributed to. Media's been all kinds of fucked up during the last few years. Narrative is indeed incredibly powerful, which is one of the reasons it's so often appropriate to note yet a-goddamn-gain the dems have in fact been trying to move leftward for the last while.

... casual reminder for the Nth time that clinton and sanders had near identical policy positions. Even much of where they differed had more to do with feasibility than intent, really...

Dems have been pretty steadily trying to push left on most issues for at least the whole of my lifetime. It just hasn't really been as hard or as bugfuck as GOP efforts to cliff dive off to the right, and you've got folks like sanders trying to drumbeat for the same damn shit the major party is while calling it something different to try to take credit and undermine attempts to actually get crap done. If it seems like they've been holding still, it's probably mostly because it turns out liberal policies are largely the ones that are actually friggin' sane and non-suicidal in response to changing global and national issues, ha.

... just to make sure, the one venue there is to repair non-unique items for a hefty price tag didn't have it as an option? Or have you just not found it yet?

You don't need all of them to sign the release form. Just enough of them.

... if you're talking non-peppercorn peppers as a spice, then sure? Capsaicin can cause a number of problems if you get too much in you, or too much on the wrong place. Vomiting, diarrhea, fairly extreme irritation, etc. Conceptually it can kill you if you ingest too much, but apparently the effect is such you'd have an incredibly difficult time doing that while dealing with the less intense overdose effects, particularly with stuff like actual peppers instead of concentrated junk. Quick check shows capsaicin exposure's one of the most common plant based reasons people call poison centers, heh.

And ninja'd a bit, but sure. Capsaicin more or less is a poison, really. We just happen to season food with it.

E: Pretty sure there's some other spices I'm forgetting that are outright lethal if used more than sparingly, never mind the stuff that just drastically increases the chance of cancer or somethin'. Humans'll eat just about anything that doesn't kill them particularly quickly, some days.

Dunno. Haven't paid attention to the numbers when someone that could see the precise hp hit something with the enhanced bombs. I guess conceptually you could go find a large magnet rock or five and haul them over? Pretty sure those hurt worse when raining from on high.

... now I'm kinda' curious if you can get far enough up dropping rocks on a lynel won't cause you to get artillery'd in the skull. On one hand it sounds possible, on the other hand those things have hella' range... and there's always the teleport, which now that I think about it is either terrifying or potentially terrifyingly hilarious. I wonder if they still try to telepounce on you if you're standing on a platform small enough they can't fit >_>

Also just realized I've never seen someone attempt to intentionally train those things somewhere weird. I know they'll disengage if you get too far from 'em, but what if you just... tease them. Until they chase you into the middle of hateno or somethin'.

Eventually the flamethrowers run out of fuel. The biological improbabilities just keep coming.

... also they totally copy the discipline, too. These are near perfect current state copies. Don't ask how the tree critters work. The clones probably wouldn't even be hostile if not for everyone trying to shoot them or let them die of starvation and neglect. and maybe just a little bit of brain chemistry alteration, who can say

There's a colosseum somewhere on the map I saw someone go through where (probably due to some degree of scaling) every enemy bar one in the place had an elemental weapon of some sort. Seven or eight of the things at minimum, iirc.

... just maybe don't come in from the bottom. Pretty sure that's good advice for every conspicuous circle shaped area in the game, really. Or just everything.

Pretty sure I've seen a lynel or two carrying the twohanders, actually, too. For what it's worth. Flurries when an elemental weapon is coming at you are pretty spectacular looking, or at least very noisy in a visual sense.

8034
You'd probably rather it or something. You need something a ways off, offshore artillery just makes them launch giant balls of clones at the ships. Sending in marines would just get you an unending stream of marines running back at you and/or being used as counter artillery projectiles. Don't ask how the tree creatures copy their equipment, too.

You might be better off just cutting your losses, really.

... what's the item? Can guess what you're trying to fix, but can't recall what the particular materials were...

8036
Plot twist, freakish arboreal monstrosities inhabiting the continent perpetually manufacture clones of the nearest intelligent lifeform once one comes close enough to them. By the time your colonists land on the shore, each one has a dozen confused copies waiting for them, casually excreting upon your attempts to solve overpopulation concerns. In trying to exploit the abominable hellscape, you have magnified your problem twelvefold and rising.

In short order starvation and overexploitation by desperate cast off mimics leaves the land barren of useful materials, hosting several new and horrifyingly deadly plagues, and flooding the continents of the rest of the world with an unending stream of confused replications of your expeditionary population.

BAD END

8037
Yeah, more or less. Also probably worth noting that whatever degree the effect is there it's interacting with a least a few dozen/hundred other variables. Even if it's doing something you might have trouble pin pointing exactly what, just 'cause other stuff is causing the observable/measurable effect to be something else.

I've encountered or killed examples of pretty much all of them, heh. Only one native to this area that gets into the size range in question is banana spiders, and they both mostly stay outside, look rather different, and don't have an inconsistent relationship with physical existence. They're also usually pretty darn chill. I got no worry from banana spiders. Only time they cause trouble is when you're going through the woods and don't see one hanging between trees and get a face full of face sized spider. Fortunately have avoided that particular experience, but I've seen it happen. It makes adult men make rather odd noises.

Maybe, but you can note the points palsch brought up for why maybe having it not is a good idea. Consistency one way or another is good, and preferably the way that causes less transmission. If that's rolling it (back) into the relevant generic law that has it be a misdemeanor, then... okay. I care less about punishing and disenfranchising people for bad, even malicious, decisions than I do about having less people with HIV.

Though if nothing else, you'd want to be making other potentially life threatening diseases count for a felony, too, instead of just having the one special cased. If some classes are going to be felonious, identify that instead of deciding one thing's good for all the rest but not the one.

Uhh...I don't think randomly hallucinating at all is a good thing to begin with...
Eh, I've been hallucinating incessantly as long as I can remember. Literally 24/7 as far back as my memories go. It's only problem if it's actually a problem, heh. Sometimes brains are just kinda' wired wrong in mostly harmless ways.

That said, latest stuff is something I've talked to a doc about, because yeah, when the shit what yer seein' what ain't there starts doing new things you check with someone. Not really a concern so long as it doesn't get much worse, and it's not really that bad outside of the occasional muzzy what the blue hell moment. It's just getting more evident this is probably going to be part of my life, now. Just wish it was something... else. Wall dryad orgies or somethin', I'unno. Something that didn't include quite so overt potential existential threats.
