Quote from: For Love of Magic, chapter 1
"I hope you enjoy the gold you extorted from an eleven year old child." He said, his words clipped and angry.

"That is the best kind of gold." Gorefist replied, feeling quite pleased with himself.
Dunno how the rest is going to turn out, but now I want to read the collected adventures of Gorefist the Extraordinary Banker and anything that manages that gets its chance.

Hey, if you really have that in your heart, there's probably a costume shop or stage group or somethin' in your area that could set you up.

Won't lie, part of me is wondering if you could do a sliver nation in Dom4, now. Would probably involve a lot of commanders with start-of-battle battlefield spells, likely mostly custom ones (pretty sure you can have spells target specific races or somethin' like that, anyway). Not entirely sure if you'd go with spawning, summoning, or gold costs for the things, though... nor how to handle troops. Something pretty similar to that Dom3 fungus mod might work, I'unno.

... I miss that mod, quite a bit. Think I tried to port it once or twice, but can't recall what got in the way (besides competence, anyway).

I find dark chocolate is best with a hot drink. Helps melt it and spreads the taste more.
Just not green tea. For the love of the nonexistent culinary gods, keep chocolate away from green tea. It's not the worst tasting thing I've ever drank but it came pretty close ;_;
No, I mean Southern Methodist.

In summary, it's a split off of a split off. From what I understand. Church denominations confuse me half the time, so I may be wrong :P
Hell, it may be irrelevant even if you're right. Protestant churches, particularly if they're stateside, can only loosely be relied upon to be anything particularly close to whatever denomination they're claiming that day. Usually at best you'll see a degree of regional coherency, but often enough things can be radically different between individual congregations even if they're claiming the same denomination. and that's not even getting into the churches that fracture over social conflict of one sort or another, which can lead to two churches that have the same stated beliefs but practice them differently or have very substantial differences in which set of mores is emphasized or not, and on, and on, and on protestant churches ain't like mcdonalds, never mind the other side of the country you be getting a different hamburger if you walk down the street

... how's that working out, anyway? Didn't carson already turn a position down for precisely that reason? I mean, sure, it was pretty farcical he'd refuse a cabinet (or whatever it was) position on basis of lack of experience when he's ran for president, but... still.

A large enough bread knife made sufficiently bloody is a sword by any means worth noting. Particularly if it's the blood of folks sayin' it ain't a sword >_>

Could it be some kind of browser or OS oddity? I'm running opera classic and mobile on my vista PC and kindle, respectively, and don't seem to be having any issue with disappearing tabs.

I do believe there is bacon-flavoured ice cream. It is too late. The dam has ruptured. I can only assume that we shall soon have brownie-flavoured vegetables within a near future.
Bacon ice cream is actually pretty good, though. Bacon goes pretty well with sweet stuff in general, syrup, honey, whatev. Beef... less so. And less with chocolate regardless. Lotta' meats that go well with sweet stuff very much doesn't with chocolate, for whatever reason.

There was at least one made, actually. Looking around a bit more to see if there's a name for the things.

Though as for a why, the likely design principles was probably something akin to hook swords. The tip would be used to pull, tangle, etc.

E: Ah ha. Give a search for kuba swords. Seems at least one sort of sword that uses the shape to one degree or another.

Every once in a long, long while, the goat pack wins its fight against the dragon. I can accept a lot of other bullshit in the face of that, ehehe.

Yeah, that's the pledge. Bit different sort of thing, somehow or another. Blame McCarthy.

Not actually commanded, though -- it's perfectly okay to leave out the under god bit, and trying to correct or punish a student for doing that can net the school a cheerful little lawsuit, these days. You can just not say it all, too.

Its a wtf enough to know somebody thought to make meat flavored brownies, really.
Wasn't intentional. I'm well aware chocolate flavored stuff doesn't go particularly well with beef.

Someone else brought home a plate of food (steak, potato, brownie) from some supper thing they went to, and apparently the brownies were placed such that they spent the night marinating in steak juice. Thus, +0 steak flavored brownies of regret.

If you're talking in context of the US, so long as you're not being disruptive, sure. The prayer ban type stuff's about nixing junk related to the school itself (so no mandatory prayer, limited icons or whatev' (or at the very least not being exclusionary about it -- if the commandments are up there, baphomet can be, too, et al) , etc.).

Teachers can pray in front of you, too, really. Just can't require the students to, or punish them if they don't, do it specifically in relation to their school duties (unless appropriate to a particular class's curriculum, I guess), so on, so forth. Closest they can get to it is a moment of silence type stuff or somethin' along those lines. Teacher's still an individual and citizen with the rights and privileges thereto, they're just also a public servant with some extra responsibilities regarding how they exercise some of 'em.

Those are not things that you can do in a Dominions 4 mod (adding units with low morale is one thing, changing the game rules and adding new rules is impossible).
No, no... you could. It's not impossible. It's just not something that's supported and would take a lot more work than I think anyone's gotten around to putting into modding a dominions game. You'd have to figure out how to crack the game open and mess with its internals, which is something that usually starts at bloody difficult and scales up to and past ridiculous, but it's not strictly impossible.

Plenty of games get modded through straight up screwing with the game's programming instead of messing with available mod tools or whatev'. It's usually half-way or outright illegal (EULA violation, reverse engineering, etc.), but it's something that happens every once in a while. PC equivalent of an ASM hack of an SNES game or whatev'.
