Yeah, I can see Clinton getting indicted and impeached for corruption or something at some point. Especially if the Republicans maintain control of the House.

With Clinton, it's like seeing the seedy underbelly of politics and wondering how much of it is done by everybody else and normal and how much of it isn't.
Bloody thing is the more we see dug up on her the less seediness people are actually finding. There's been as damn near to zero as I can recall of actually substantiated underbelly shown by goddamn everything that's been dug up on clinton. Unless folks actually dig up something worth something, a corruption indictment against clinton at this point would be the sodding corruption. Literally the worst they've actually found is somewhat shoddy IT security, and that's a trait that's been demonstrated by much of the friggin' government (by bloody everyone, really -- similar stuff's been endemic to business et al since the internet started entrenching).

All the screeching in the world doesn't actually turn normal political cruft into something abnormal. No matter how much it's repeated.

Well, the republican party schisming would be a nice start. Regardless of whatever other ideological concerns they (and conservatives in general) may have, the party has specifically been working to undermine a functioning government for decades. You can't get much done when you've got folks campaigning to get into power and then fuck things up so the government looks bad, and that's more or less been a cornerstone of their practical implementation for at least as long as I've been alive. Get folks to knock that shit off (or at least marginalize 'em, so you can get people making most decisions that aren't bad faith actors) and you might just see things getting better.

All other problems are problems, but that one of our major political parties is intentionally sabotaging our country to create an ideological point really is the goddamn elephant in the room so far as actual improvement (or at least renormalization/stability) goes.

The hitler thing specifically is questionable. Nazi, on the other hand, is less so. Trump has been more or less quoting white supremacists and neo-nazis this election, among other things. Folks that care more about the comparison seem to hold he's closer to other authoritarian dictators. The exact sort of scumshit he resembles is arguably irrelevant, though. Guy's complete fucking scum all in his own.

As for the tax avoidance thing, that seems to actually still be breaking. Originally it was just noted he used his massive incompetence to get out of paying federal income taxes for a while, but the legal legitimacy of the action wasn't terribly questioned. Too early and too headachy to hunt down the links, but some more recent stuff has looked into the subject more and is now casting doubts on that front.

That said... fraud, bribery, abuse of charity funds -- those are things trump and his company have just flat bloody been caught doing at this point, though actual litigation may not happen in some cases until after the election, and in others he/his business settled to avoid admission of guilt. Similar for obstructing federal investigation, and probably some stuff I've forgotten or didn't notice. Guy may just be the most overtly corrupt person to ever run for POTUS for a major party, which is a hell of a thing.

Tax plan wise, last I paid attention (which, as said earlier in the thread, wasn't long ago, but trump lies goddamn constantly, and is as consistent as a weathervane in a waterspout when it comes to policy -- it may have changed) it was basically tax cuts for the richest americans (not necessarily businesses) and higher taxes for at least the middle class folks. Can't recall if/how it screwed poorer folks. Even conservative estimates had it costing the country well over a/multiple trillion dollars, though.

The most pertinent question, methinks: What divinity is best to invoke vulgarity through?

Think my top three are zeus, the nonexistent gods, and the divinely manifested ideal of fornication, in no particular order.

Yeah, pretty much. Especially considering if we've got the tech to do that we can just make machines that aren't intelligent or capable of emotion and use those instead. No need to use humans, or much of anything with higher brain functions.

9201
Maybe float the question at em and see if they respond? Beyond Twitter, there's contact info on the website (if somewhat annoying to find -- it's at the very very bottom of the page).

... it's still pretty goddamn bad, though.

As to the edit, the thing you seem to be missing ree is that functionally what's being proposed isn't assistance. It's magic asterisk nonsense that would gum up a system already thoroughly gummed, and drop the burden of that on the rest of the folks using said system to boot. It's good intentions put forth ignorantly enough it counts as infernal construction subsidies.

9203
Like. The FBI has straight up said there's no legal case. The latest crap pretty much has nothing to do with clinton, save it being related to old staffers. Conviction's not really on the table, unless it's a kangaroo court of some sort.

Meanwhile, we have literal, straight up documented, examples of trump and his subordinates doing what people are only accusing clinton of, and in the face of repeated investigations that found nothing actionable. For folks that had problems with clinton's handling of the investigation related stuff, and supported trump because of it, well. Here you go. You're supporting someone that's done shit significantly more blatant, with significantly more evidence of it and a notably larger number of incidences.

I actually agree with Clinton on a lot of things, up until that revelation last night concerning her immigration policy. Goddamn that is one awful policy under the current system.
And you actually have decent reason to be a single issue... well, not voter, but whatever... I guess. Pretty sure it still wouldn't be enough to have reason to vote R for potus this election, but maybe third party or somethin'?

9204
In other news besides comey being a shit, have another way in which trump is worse than clinton. Trump's projection apparently extends to emails and investigation obstruction, too.

As a pacifist, please put down the railguns. As a compromise measure, why not go for railgins?
... wouldn't that be even worse? A railgun will kill you but a railgin would rip slivers of broken glass through your flesh and then douse you in probably!flaming alcohol. You'd still be pretty likely to die but it would be a significantly more painful experience.

The problem is, how do you ethically test whether vaccines are causing <pick your disease of choice>?
Same way you ethically test anything? It's not like medical science can't give a good shot at that if they feel like it.

Though with vaccines the question is legitimately more if they're stopping what they're aiming for, low-probability problems to be fixed later. Even if it is causing complications, unless said complications are radically more likely than anything we've actually recorded happening it's still entirely worth it. This is one of the few unfortunate issues where personal liberty and incidental body count can get right buggered.

No, I'm pretty sure some loitering around do. By pretty much any usage of the word you care to use, actually. Whether the process(es) involved actually deified them is a different question.

That said, if you're actually in Australia, it looks like the thing's in the library system. Might be able to hit up an interlibrary loan, assuming you've got the hardware to run it. And both you and whoever's holding it is willing to risk the medium it's on :P

9209
Near as I can tell, no one has a screen shot of the thing to share. Online, anyway. When J says it's obscure they're not kidding.

Huh. A potential hit is Aztlan: Stone of the Fifth Sun, apparently.

But, uh. If it is that one, good luck finding it >_>
