Actually fairly sure trump would have kicked bernie's ass. The problem is they're both demagogues, but the group sanders targets with it is notably less susceptible to it. Add on sanders not being nearly as competent a speaker or campaigner as clinton and the flat fact he'd be less popular with undecideds or repulsed republicans (clinton may have a lot of bad media, but sanders flies the socialist flag and doesn't have the sense to even attempt to make peace with folks too ideologically separate from him), and you've got a recipe for a lost campaign.

Oddly enough, if it wasn't for the baggage of that goddamn media assault making mountains out of mole farts, clinton would have easily been one of the best candidates the dems could have fielded. Like it or not she's without doubt one of the most experienced and capable politicians qua politicking in the current american political realm, and against a demagogue as shameless and undisciplined as trump that's a hell of a benefit.

I'm sure the FDA or whathaveyou is against at least some taco trucks.

Well, I mean. There are recipes that involve blood. Might be worth a shot :V

Eehh... lot of the really expensive stuff you kinda' have to have exposure to to enjoy, from what I understand. If you've been eating discount steaks all your life a $100 one may taste rather off, ferex.

Though yeah, good food makes a helluva' difference. It doesn't necessarily have to be fancy or expensive or whathaveyou, just tailored to what you enjoy. Lotta' the stuff I personally cook regularly is objectively bad cooking but they just happen to be pretty much exactly what my tastebuds love. Which makes it nice. Only occasionally nice enough I'd consider maiming someone over it, but still generally an improvement to my day.

And yeah, I used to do more or less the same just eat live thing, to a degree (though only a degree; chunks of my family have always been pretty damn good cooks, so...). My reaction was to eventually start learning to cook (or at least prepare my meals so I liked them instead of just ate them, anyway), heh.

Huh. Well, here's a picture, heh:

Was from back in '09, though. Like said, according to y'all's official weather site thingjigger sig fives are 220 kph and up. And, well. Yeah, worry is appropriate. Areas hit by those things tend to be kinda' leveled and a great number of the people still in them killed. Florida et al got bloody lucky with matthew this year -- it was a cat 4 (what would have been an upper sig 4 or low sig 5, by your measure), and it did pretty horrible things to some of the caribbean islands. Several hundred dead, etc., etc.

Oh, the category stuff's based on wind speed, too. You can see a fairly straightforward comparison here. Like said, a sig five would presumably be either an upper level cat five (which is already basically "everything caught in it dies") or a currently nonexistent cat 6, which presumably is so strong it kills the meteorologists trying to observe it via satellite from hundreds/thousands of miles away.

Though yeah, it looks like they've instituted a sig 5 since that comparison was made. Windspeeds of over 220 kph. Was overestimating a bit, that would be more like an upper cat 4 as your bottom, though you're still talking potential cat five equivalents. If you're looking to see what you could expect from that, do some research on category four and five hurricane landfalls. Which, uh. If you're in a region predicted to get hit by that you need to leave that region, ha. Maybe come back but definitely evacuate. Places that take the full brunt of those things basically end up looking like someone dropped a (few) nuke(s) on them. Good chunk of folks that don't evac don't live to get a second chance. Nasty stuff.

Hmm... signal 4 is a strong cat 3 and up. Cooking up a sig five would be like bringing in the cat 6 classification. Which, uh. If you're being regularly hit by even cat fives it's probably time to stop building there and go somewhere else, tbh. Possibly because everything's been knocked down and no one's left alive.

I can't tell if mainiac was being sarcastic :x
Fair amount of sarcasm, yes. Probably. Sanders lost NY, and by a fairly substantial margin.

There was media disparity in terms of air time, but tbh sanders probably benefited from it more than it hurt, especially considering how much of clinton's was negative. Thing that some folks seem to have trouble wrapping their heads around is that sanders actually wasn't a particularly amazing candidate. Policy wise he was barely different from clinton save on subjects where he would have been better off if he wasn't, and he lost ground on rhetoric with a fair chunk of the electorate. To say nothing of what his performance in the primary said about his character or competence :-\

I still regret that primary vote, frankly. Was lukewarm on sanders to begin with just because of some of his shit re: trade et al, but by the end of the primary I legit didn't want to see him as a POTUS candidate.

Clinton was the darling from day one, but sad as it is she didn't truly cheat. The people just aren't ready for a leader like Sanders. It's like he said from the start, it would have taken a political revolution.
Eh, it wouldn't have taken a revolution to get sanders in, it would have just taken him not being an ass combined with hopping on the democrat train like at least a few years ago. That and trying to maybe be more politician than demagogue.

Which I guess is a way to say it would have taken a revolution to actually get sanders in. Someone similarly left position/policy wise wouldn't necessarily have the same amount of trouble. obviously enough, considering an example of that is clinton

The "darling" faced unrelenting negative coverage for the past year.  Except for Donald Trump, I dont think any candidate in the television era has faced such negativity.
Hey now, I'm pretty sure it's been longer than just the past year.

Quick check says you mostly just have to copy it over, delete the game's main .exe, then tell steam to start downloading (it should find the files you moved over) to replace the .exe and verify once you're done. Probably could get away with just budging it over and verifying, but I'unno.

... well. That in context of something called a midget manipulator definitely is a hell of a thing.

... having looked, I have to say that... that poor guy on the right of clinton/the podium, from our vantage. He looked like he'd been staring into the depths of hell* and was about to start crying, when I popped in.

Though yeah, that's a pretty steep v-neck. Have to admit a bit of curiosity as to how intentional that was, on their part.

*E: Plot twist, Jones was right about the smell of sulfur :V

Huh.

tl;dr, the trump foundation apparently sunk 10k into project veritas.

Wasteland or fallout would actually hit fairly close to the desert thing, methinks. Particularly the earlier fallouts. Older stuff, the darksun games are definitely desert themed. Emperor of the Fading Suns nails the space empire thing pretty well.

Though no, vis a vis explicitly dune games, there's like... a few.
