But, what crime was actually committed? As far as I can tell, it's just people seeing clown.
Crimes actually committed related to the stuff? Trespassing, harassment, whatever trying to lure kids away from bus stops is, the one kid (late teens or somethin', iirc) stabbed to death, other stuff I'm forgetting. Linked a few things back a bit in the ameripol thread. Give it a search for clown epidemic and you can see some news breakdowns.

... you do know those things specifically mentioned are in fact things that have been used for a while to... well, do what was mentioned. Right? Fair amount of other things, too. Less sure about the autogenic stuff, but mental imagery and meditation are both legit. Can be, at least. Having practiced relaxation techniques under your belt can actually do exactly what the quoted bit says it does: Not replace emergency treatment, but help reduce onset and severity. Stuff's been introduced into a lot of actual hospitals and whatnot for a reason.

I'm a mild asthmatic myself, by the by, along with a few other things relaxation methods help with. It works. It's not a replacement, but it can help keep symptoms under control.

Now if they're actually talking biofeedback and chakras and such, yeah, they loco. Meditation et al is good shit, though.

No.

No. No. No. No. No.
Yeeaaah, it wouldn't be much of an improvement, if any. Pence is his own sort of horrible, and it's arguable trump is actually a worse outcome. Or at least not much of one. Kinda' like asking if you want to be force-fed razor blades coated with arsenic or cyanide.

Saw mention somewhere. Can't remember the specifics but the gist of it is someone fed baby pictures into one AI experiment or another and that came out.

... yeah, outside flooding it looks like the US is getting off pretty lightly, but, well. Haiti is already recording around 840 dead, and the number is very, very likely to rise.

... has that ever happened before, actually? The VP candidate leaving the ticket ~a month before the general. Because I certainly can't remember it happening off the top of my head.

... just finished watching a ~9 hour vid of a full gears of war 4 campaign playthrough. That ending. It was pretty fun to watch and looked like it'd be pretty a'ight to play, too. But that ending.

Not saying much else, because spoilers and whatnot, but I will say this. I... think it may piss some people off :V

Uh, not like what was recorded, no. I've heard more respect come out of drunk frat boys.

Though yes, he's been accused from several different sources of making unwanted advances.

It's come up a few times, yes. Should be noted that there's at least one murder associated with the stuff, and it's been happening for something like two or three months.

Trump's at least... tweeted, I think, that he won't be resigning regardless as to what happens. Trump being trump, that doesn't mean much, but there you go.

9581
For what it's worth, I'm pretty sure the republicans can't get trump off the ticket at this point. Think even if he withdraws, he'd still be listed. Want to say the name would still be there if he up and died, even.

They could run a different candidate, but it'd have to be a write-in or somethin' on the actual ballot, iirc, at least for most state. Thing you have to remember is that in a lot of places ballots have already been printed and folks have already started voting. Theoretically there could be reprints and revotes and whatnot, but, uh. I'm pretty sure most places would just say it's not worth the cost and effort, and they can deal. Shoulda' sorted their shit out earlier :V

So what would happen if a guy decided to drive without a license in USA, got caught for it, and then in court used this as a defense? Cause if he gets off scot free then the article would technically be correct, although they would probably fix that loophole soon afterwards.
Well, first the judge would laugh at them, maybe literally. Then the defense would be thrown out, at best. If the defendant kept trying that route afterwards, iirc what usually comes next is contempt of court charges.

What mainiac says. Same for the racist thing. There is just enough subtelty that if you're into it, you can rationalize it. This? No way.
I'unno, folks seem to still be rationalizing support, at least. Probably not the best site for it, but it was the first I found that had a round-up of reaction quotes and it's earlier than I'm willing to expend more effort for, so :V

... if that's what you call "a little appreciation" fol, you got problems. Just sayin'.

Any case, mostly seems to be either a camel's back scenario and/or the more personal/irrefutable nature of it. Plus the racism, tax evasion, and ethically bankrupt business practices are... kinda' a plus for a fair chunk of the folks that are supporting him, or at least for the ones that are supporting those ones (in the case of politician endorsement.). This latest bit, not so much.

Though yeah, calling it the most horrific things you can imagine is either excessive hyperbole or a great heaping of stupidity. No question on that end of things.

... man, it's been a while since I've seen a linux master race spiel that wordy.

In any case, to state the obvious, linux may (but only may) be the future but it damn sure isn't the now. Won't be until someone gets around to fixing the issues with cross platform and backwards compatibility, as well as actually streamline/polish stuff to the point it's actually comparatively painless to use for the average computer user (some builds come close-ish, but they ain't there yet). Maybe another decade or three and it'll stop being the OS of people with too much time on their hands.
