Huh. Anyone else happen to have noticed this? Haven't checked how legit it is, yet, but if it's solid, eesh. The tl;dr is that trump('s company) appears to have had business with an iranian bank that ended up pegged as being used to fund terrorists.

I think what'd be pretty amusing is if it turns out the bank didn't have an exemption from the trade embargo at the time. Maybe the guy thought there was some kind of contest to see how many embargo violations someone could rack up. but it's only two so far, you say! No one except trump said trump was good at it.

Don't seem to notice anything about more than desk duty, either, even after months of police having the exact film. Because somehow the appropriate administrative response to shit like this is to make the perpetrators push paper while you shove not just your thumb but your entire sodding arm up your ass and do jack all. Obvious response to evidence like that isn't to throw the pieces of shit in jail until trial if they're wearing blue. That's apparently how things work in this country :-\

I mean, I can understand investigation and whatnot takes time, particularly when there's complicating elements or whathaveyou. But they've let us know they had stuff that uncomplicated it real damn hard, and chose not to. S'just... cops. Shit, some of you are literal family to me, though several states away. You guys need to realize there's a time to close ranks and a time to throw some fuckers under the bus. And the frequency isn't always and never, respectively.

How trying to mitigate response (like keeping the film under wraps, ferex, or not fast tracking everything involved and getting the officers fired, in jail, and trumpeted as an example of police policing their own) seems like even remotely a good idea I have no goddamn clue. Open and shut case of police malfeasance, of the sort that revealing and coming down on with a hammer would not only drastically improve public relations but be the right thing to do regardless, and it turns out someone out there thought trying to cover ass was the right path forward. You'd think someone would get the goddamn idea already, but circumstances seem intent on repeatedly demonstrating otherwise.

Which I guess isn't saying anything that hasn't already been said, but bloody hell.

Body, I'm not sure why you decided half past one in the morning, less than three hours after going to sleep, is a good time to wake up, nor why you made me feel like it was around six when you did so, but. Please stop. I'm having enough to trouble with this time thing the last month or two and I really need you on my side instead of... this.

Also if you could be a bit more clear as to whether some of this shit is actually seeing a thing or m'just hallucinating more than usual, that'd be great. I'd love to know if the occasional bug I seem to be seeing is a fuckhuge spider lurking in my room or just my brain going more haywire than normal.

It doesn't, nah. The priest boost does, though. Even for poison, which is interesting. Boost's the only way to increase the damage of the secondary effects besides the jewels, iirc. Want to say even red/yellow/crit only jacks the base weapon damage. Means if you're going anything magic based except something revolving around freeze or maybe a jacked up slow, you really want at least one priest, even if you're just using red/black stones to boost the % buff without investment.

E: And yeah, it looks like most swords do act differently vis a vis effect stacking. I want to say they're actually the only one that works that way. Everyone else stacks that stuff into a towering damage mountain from hell.

Mm... stacking depends on the damage type, iirc. From what I've noticed, the only thing that doesn't stack when there's overlapping effects/clouds is poison. Is one of the reasons the flame weapons can end up outdamaging the poison ones. Also how electric shock and whatnot do their hilarious shenanigans.

... it's just really hard to tell because one flame effect or fifty is still going to cause the same delightful waterfall of damage numbers.

Eh, it's not like there's not narrative room for kboi to go full godmode. All it would take would be cardinal totally anthropomorphising and going full harem. It's admin access to reality either way at that point.

Did try that skyforce thing. Is kinda' interesting... gives off a definite mad max vibe, specifically that one SNES one that got fantranz'd. Which is good! It'd actually be a pretty decent mobile implementation of the playstyle... if they got rid of stamina and all the real-time timers involved. As is, it hurts to play it. Painful to get involved with something so obviously crippled in the name of monetization. It'd be smooth as hell if it didn't have those particular roadblocks -- the gacha stuff is fine, as well as the resource buying and whatnot. It's just the rest of it :-\

Though yeah, I've been running a few odd builds. Mostly double priest and then something else (sniper duo, Angel duo, sniper/gunner). Best functioning team at the moment is fairly standard, though. Strength Priest, magic based sniper (with some strength, too, to up the range), magician (range to ~200, bit in magic, currently upping dex until it hits 75), magic enabled boxer, usually in running vampire/onigiri -- just enough dex to 5-10 without quick, meandering towards 120 mag for always-on end game gloves, though strength is getting splashed as it goes. Usually runs as a freeze tank, which I find is sodding incredible at weakening bosses, even if it's not stun locking. Good stuff. Mountaintop is totally kicking their asses, though.

DARWINIAN GAMEPLAY.

I couldn't stop thinking of the AGP and the ideas people had for WH40k Imperial Guard FPS.
...okay, that was actually pretty neat. All it really needs for it to be an Imperial Guard FPS is to include commissars screaming, lasers flying, maybe a titan stomping around in the background.
Well, that and the grey knights/inquisition coming after your obviously chaos tainted bodyhopping behind. Would be the one problem with trying to theme it as an IG FPS -- the gameplay would be an incredibly huge warning sign to imperial... well, just about everything. Random guardsmen changing behavior patterns after one of them dies? Particularly if the patterns are much like the dead one previously exhibited? I'm not saying they'd exterminatus the planet immediately, but the option would probably end up on the table pretty quick.

Aquinas, apparently. Was/is a thing for catholicism, if the googling for a reminder was accurate.

Yeah, I agree with Tiruin about that, Martinuzz: it's very insulting for someone in a European country to act like any non-caucasian developing nation who's leader you don't like is automatically running things like Castro or Stalin. The Philippines has problems but it's still a vibrant democracy with a plurality of opinions and media.
I mean. I'd say the thread title is pretty apt, myself. Largely the general treatment of the subject throughout the thread, too. Regardless of what else the guy's done, he has very literally compared himself to Hitler, stated the intent to match body counts, and has been dedicating effort and resources towards creating conditions that will, almost certainly, cause a pretty substantial amount of dead people, many of which will be innocent of meaningful wrongdoing. Already has, really. It is, in fact, running things like a stalin or castro. Apeshit Hitler-insane is a good descriptor. It's a fair bit insulting, sure. Some things deserve to be insulted. When you put mass killing civilians (directly or through intentional deprivation, it doesn't much matter) on the table, you ruin quite thoroughly whatever dignity you had or respect you may have previously been owed.

Doesn't mean what positive things he's done aren't there, or that they're not maybe doing good things elsewhere, or that everything isn't going well besides that little bit of a mass murder campaign, but, well. No matter how many houses you build or people you help, you murder one person in cold blood and it's the clink or the grave for you. You make statements and commit to the actions focused on in this thread and you're not getting away from the One Goat principle. Shouldn't, really. Some things you can't really balance out.

Understanding the context and whatnot behind the support is important, but that doesn't mean the guy hasn't -- hadn't already, really, but this was the headline writing nail in the coffin --  gone rather permanently over the metaphorical line.

... it's been a while since I've noticed the RNG screwing me this hard. Stick Rangers. Trying to get a particular card. Critter in question as a 10% chance to drop the card, a 10% chance to drop a different item, and the rest of the lot to do more or less nothing.

I have four five of the different item in my inventory, after starting this farming at none. Zero cards. No cards have appeared. This sodding box's existence is one of rapacious stickmen slamming head first into its brainpan and frantically pummeling it with gigantic ice spikes (and flaming arrows, and concentrated electric death) until it dies in brutal agony, and then doing it again. And again. And again. All because it won't drop that damn card and I'm too stubborn to stop, now. This has happened well over a dozen times. Probably three or four of 'em, maybe more. Still no card.

E: Praise the nonexistent gods, another seven or eight boxmurders after posting the redying bastard finally dropped the goddamn card. Fortunately it didn't give me another bloody charm. If another of those things had been coughed out before a card was I don't think my response would have been coherent.

Well... yeah. LNs seem to indulge regularly and heavily in fanservice of the lewd kind. They can also get away with more than a manga can, which themselves can get away with more than anime. It's a neat paradigm.

You. You're the one I blame for mentioning stick rangers had an android port. I think I both hate and love you for that.

I think, even discounting the time I've spent playing it specifically on one device, I've spent several hours over the last few days playing it more or less simultaneously on both the kindle and the computer. Friggin' stick rangers, your one flaw is I kept forgetting you exist. Now I have you as a handheld I can play while I'm doing something else. send help. I'm having trouble stopping ;_;

Getting increasingly obvious something is going wrong with my memory. Forgetting stuff that I wouldn't have been six months or especially a year ago, and with noticeably increasing severity/frequency. Hopefully can get in touch with the doc soonish, but... definitely in a state of mildly terrified, or at least getting there.

Especially hoping this isn't going to be permanent... hard enough to barely function as is/was last year. Head starts going haywire harder than it already has been all my life and I'm not going to be in a good place. And the US being the US, getting some kind of help could very possibly not be an option at that point :-\
