... do you really want to have SC be a foreign country, RK? Because somehow I don't think that's going to improve relations between y'all. Or the situation anywhere, when areas needing federal assistance to not entirely break down suddenly find themselves without support, with worse problems, probably at least some hostile neighbors in the same situation, and not much else they can do about it besides all those guns they have laying around :-\

Shit would almost certainly get incredibly fucking terrible if we actually broke down and broke up the federal government. Too much of the country not only isn't self-sufficient, but functionally can't be with the populations our country has. Without what we've got holding us together this chunk of the continent probably isn't going to turn out well.

E: Also sweet blue hell but it would probably take literally centuries to fix everything that'd bugger up regarding trade and shit, on top of everything else.

Pan has decent access to earth and nature in order to buff up their delicious little footsoldiers with their boosted MR, fast speed, higher strength and HP and their recuperation... And that's about it.
Now asphodel, on the other hand... black centaurs? They're recolored white centaurs. Stats are identical. Then you have just about everything else Pan has, except death access instead of blood and those teeming hoards of undead. If you can deal with the dying domain (made somewhat easier by having the carrion casters and the unending stream of chaff), well... you're pan, but with bigger money issues and better in almost every other way, including strategy diversity :V

... folks, as frustrating as all this is, let's... not. Be advocating or suggesting violence. Above and beyond the whole forum ToS thing, this election is too fucked up to tell if you folks are serious or not.

I mean. Given what we were talking about this last page or two, I'm not as sure as I was that that last one is entirely unlikely. Maybe we'll get both.

On the other hand, if any of y'all outside the border happen to have taken some sort of damage from US personnel, officials, or anyone they supported, or know someone that did, man, did our country just generate some good news for you, ahahahahaha

And yeah, the blame in this case lands on each and every one of those shits. Save the one guy in the senate and the few dozen in the house, anyway. I'm not saying they're okay but they're apparently marginally less of a bloody idiot on some subjects than their fellows. Which apparently isn't a high bar to pass but :V

Oh, I'unno about insane. Impeccably spineless, maybe. Incredibly incompetent, definitely. Shorter sighted than a shitfaced sailor, sure. Almost certain there's a better word for when someone does something grossly stupid and then blames their incompetence on someone else, but I can't remember it at the moment.

I think the most apt thing that could be done here is have everyone that voted yes fund the legal damages that hit the U.S. because of it. Probably not the best, due to the legal precedents and whatnot involved, but goddamn if you don't want to take these folks by the face and jam their head in the dump they just took on the carpet.

And hey, if it bankrupts each and every one of the idiots, all the better.

Question there is the margin on integrated snack machines and how long it'd take for em to pay for themselves. If these things can pull a profit in a timely manner you're going to start seeing them.

Huh. Felt not!shit outside. Season's changing, maybe. Looked at forecast, see if it was sticking.

... thirty degree temperature shifts for the next couple days. Twenty for longer. At least it's nice in the morning for the first time in several months :-\

Now if only I could really enjoy it. Starting to think I'm developing allergies or some sort of seasonal sinus issue malarkey as I get older. Last few days the weather's been getting better but I've also been waking up feeling like something is spiking an ice pick into my eye socket. Which is unpleasant.

No, my friend, no. We're talking tech, here. You either use wax or lasers. No third option. Not even if the razor automatically oscillates in a suggestive fashion.

and yes, I'm aware that using wax on areas of your body where the skin is not the toughest is a quite terrible idea folks at home, don't do that without consultation and supervision of a trained medical professional

If we could do that, why be covert? Just kill the bacteria
Why kill the bacteria if you can instead wololo the little shits? The only thing better than a dead enemy is a living ally.

The purpose of political parties should not be to perpetuate themselves; it should be to find decent politicians that their voters approve of.  Berne did nothing that the average democratic primary candidate wouldn't. In the end he probably brought more liberals under the tent.
... no, he... kinda' did. Do things the average democratic primary candidate wouldn't. As has been noted. Is large extent why the folks that have been mentioning they're pissed at him are pissed at him. And ninja'd, but eh.

And hey, CF, hijacking the party is kinda' the way forward. One of 'em, anyway. I actually don't mind a genuine effort to invest in and change the party's makeup and whatnot. That. Is not what sanders did. Given how he's acted since he lost (e.g. he fucked right off more or less the moment it was over, among other things), I couldn't say that was the intent at all.

I'm like 60% sure holy spells can need research, actually. Cross-path ones, at very least.

No, no, you can regret it. After you may be grateful but when you're interacting with sludge there is nothing but foetid stank and regret.

The Pol Pot, Where Politics Go To Die

I'm some kind of Nazi.
Urge... to OOCQ... rising...
... would it really be worth it at this point? Pretty sure there's at least a dozen or three posts in the OOCQ thread that's basically exactly that sentence, just with a different poster saying it.
