Well. Sudden and fast by geological standards.  It's almost certainly going to be over a few generations by human ones, so we'll know what hit us pretty well. Doing anything about it, on the other hand...

And yes, rol. Yes it is.

Well... yeah? Trump doesn't seem to have much respect for... anyone, really. Arguably not even himself, given how little he displays care about things like consistency or treatment of others.

I tested it out: If it was a republican president in the same situation, I'd be pissed. Therefore, I'm pissed.
... any particular reason? Keeping knee-jerk legislation from screwing the country is something I tend to appreciate in a president, m'self.

That seems more explicit than tacit, really.

EDIT: Thanks, Obama. Thanks so much.
... I mean. Yeah. Stepping on that sovereign immunity thing does sound like a bad idea? Though also yeah, what that would open the US to would be a helluva thing. There's still plenty of people alive that got fucked up by the contras, right? Among everything else.

There's nothing sensible about toaster ovens.

Sorta', but what it is also isn't something I'd splash twenty bucks on. Or ten. It's certainly something you can basically play on idle but that doesn't mean it's particularly good, ha, or worth much of an investment. It's something that's also true of several dozen flash games that cost you nothing but the bandwidth and time.

As for the blossoming, I haven't seen any gameplay of that far in, yet, so I couldn't say. Act 2 does seem like a good chunk of playtime away from starting from what I have seen, though. If they're holding out introducing things that take the game from barely mediocre to somewhat passing until several hours into the game they might want to re-think their design decisions. Just a bit.

Eehh... not that I can recall. I wasn't really looking for that sort of thing, though.

There's certainly some that allow for more npcs, though, iirc. Some of the RPG ones manage it, I do believe.

That said, the game just got an update. There's no guarantee any mods previously made still even work with the latest version. There's some workarounds with loading older versions but as I kinda' hinted at when I bumped the thread terraria is kinda' horrible about mod compatibility and updates.

Still, couldn't hurt to check. Most of terraria's mod scene seems to be fairly centralized on their forum, so you shouldn't have to hunt too terribly much.

Boost up int-based skills, then stick XP in the stat. There'll be an option in the character menu when you're able to. Forget exactly how many skills levels you need, though. Pretty sure mecha design or whatever it is is one, so it tends to make a good first target. Then probably science and... I think medicine is an int skill? Since those can both get you a bit extra cash (use science on the rocks you occasionally find in dungeons, if you haven't noticed already). Then other stuff.

All the stats work like that, actually. Another reason cash training is so desirable -- you can avoid spending straight up XP on skills and put them all into stats.

Snip
Hey, as SB noted, you can do more than just lift it. Pull it up with some speed and it can actually launch whatever's in there a bit out of the toaster, letting you grab it before it drops back in. Useful if you happen to be toasting something that ended up being too short for even the simple lift to make it easy to get out.

Physics! Causing and preventing burnt flesh since the dawn of flesh.

That would make for one hell of a story: Clinton dieing during inauguration, that bland nobody taking over - and turning  out to be a wise, level-headed and farsighted leader who then goes on to lead the US and Western civilization as a whole into a new Golden Age.
Peace through Power, my european friend.

Hell if I know. I've never actually watched a full episode of the thing. Not even sure what microsoft has to do with it >_>

Opened a can of worms would probably be more appropriate for a superhero tangent on the net, these days. Especially one involving a crapsack setting where you're one of the set pieces that get randomly cooked by rampaging minions of a bunny rabbot fetishist.

I mean. They are offering one option for blame to be microsoft. I guess that's an attempt at transparency?

I'm not entirely sure how that pans out, but blaming MS for stuff is something I can get behind. Helps if it's something they actually did but *shrugs*

Mostly a compliment, at least.

Regardless, I'd be pretty okay with Kane. Blandly inoffensive or not, he's a blandly inoffensive you can make Nod jokes about, and that's close enough to enough it's enough enough to get by.

... also he's neither trump nor sanders, and that's broadly speaking a point for at this point.
