Well the "rumors" are that a similar thing was already done to the vespids.

The Vespids didn't have the Hive Mind cramming a psychic will stronger than the Inmaterium itself tho.
Or did they?!

I'm not saying the vespids are actually just what the tau are showing of a suborned splinter fleet, but...

E: plot twist, the tau actually are a splinter fleet, just one that's figured out how to get by without completely consuming all biological matter in their way -- the ones the imperium actually see are the infiltrated genestealer equivalents

That feeling when you notice what you're about to do and realise that, no, sticking your bare hands into microwave boiled water is maybe not the best of ideas. Just a titch inadvisable. Lil' bit.

KR's actually got more than one sequel at this point. Forget if it's two or more than, but it's at least two.

Guy couldn't run as a dem candidate at this point even if he wanted to anyway, iirc. Not too sure he'd live through trying, either, with his current support base.

Not sure the dem party would actually end up better off if sanders was in office for four years, tbh. And biden's repeatedly said no. Maybe someone else would step up *shrugs*

Hey, it's not just 92 research points -- the critters have inspiring researcher, too.

But the answer to your question is, without adjusting anything else and assuming they've done no empowering or anything, that path layout would put a mictlan great sage at -512. So 622 points total.

... looks like you'd have to take 13 hits of negative scales to afford that with an awake one. You'd have enough left over to put one pip in your dominion, bringing it up to... two.

Things are really starting to look bad for the Clinton campaign. First her remark about half of the Trump supporters, now this. Those debates better be a slam dunk for her; she can't afford to slip any further.
I'unno, I think she could slip a ways yet. She is running against trump.

R-something was one of the other names for it, yeah, just without the accent mark. Sounds about right.

Chewy and dry almost sounds like jerky. Which increases the idle desire to try some, ehehe.

There are now people in high school that were too young to remember the attacks and there are going to be people entering high school soon that were born after the attacks.  Anyone feel old yet?
Certainly not for something that only happened fifteen years ago. Call again in another couple of decades.

Or not. Not would be better.

There is a food called meat floss. It is apparently basically cotton candy... except made of pork.

Looks like pulled pork, it seems. Kinda' want to try it now that I know it exists. Finely shredded dried pork with a bit of sugar and soy sauce (which is apparently the roughly default seasoning) sounds nice.

Oh aye, aware of lanka and whatnot. Just seem to remember having them as a non-monkey nation for some reason that didn't involve enslave or whatev'. Entirely likely it's just my memory being shot, though.

Fair enough. Must've been misremembering something... maybe some odd event or another? Another one of those things were I could swear I remember something with markata longdead :-\

And yeah, I can only guess the call shadows in particular is some kind of generic command rather than nation specific, which is why it changes in UW provinces. Kinda' neat, though... almost like it's a pseudo-callback to theowhatsit. Though that would have been a retcon of some sort, heh, as the behavior's been there longer than t-etc. has been.

... laughing? I mean. It's in the name :V

Last I checked it seems like the most likely thing ynnead is going to do is immediately start boning the emperor, if general sentiment means anything.

Has anybody bothered to send a sample of their water to a laboratory for analysis? Is there no record of water quality and composition from before fracking for comparison?
Sure? I'm not on top of how accessible or prevalent it is, but folks test ground and tap water fairly regularly for all sorts of reasons and have been doing so for a while now. Among other things, so far as I can recall it's mandatory for a fair amount of zoning and construction and whatnot permissions, and things of that nature, at the very least in the state I'm in -- putting in a well, ferex, requires getting groundwater samples from where you're putting it tested (for what, I can't recall, but the records of the results would be there) if you don't want to be up to yer arse in fines.

Also pretty sure annual/biannual/whatever tap water reports are at least fairly common, possibly even mandated at some level and/or in some places. If it's the right data or properly taken or particularly available to the public I've got zog all clue, but there's almost certainly going to be at least some pre-fracking data for comparison.
