I slaughtered a camp of bandits, leaving only one paralyzed crossbowman. I leave, and while walking at night who attacks me? The lone, suffocating crossbowman. Also I went to swim across a stream and it froze right as I was about to step into it. That was close!

You could speed it up by removing dwarves from the raws temporarily, or removing all their farming.

Very well. Imagine, if you will, a fate wherein MurderMachines never dies. Is that fate not possible? Only by sabotage will MurderMachines fall, methinks. So if you sabotage the fort, is it truly will of fate or will of Terry? And if it is will of Terry and Terry ceases to exist, could Terry's will continue to sabotage? Truly entropy is the only thing that might cause the end of MurderMachines and by wit of those prepared and careful order, entropy can be subverted. All of you should be motivated to do so, as with entropy ChaosMaker can no longer make chaos. And if entropy occurs, interest will wane. If interest wanes, only that can truly end this place.

Murdermachines can also fall from incompetence. I almost killed it with unforbidden egg roasts when I was checking out the save.

Impossible. Kobolds don't make armor, so you can't find one your size.

Yeah, the wooden weaponed bandits were probably elven bandits, no matter what race they actually were. And yes, there do seem to be different tiers of bandit. I don't know what determines it, though.

Not everyone gets to have a dwarf exactly the same as them. The only thing I share with my dwarf is a liking for iron and microcline.

So I made a world with max temperatures. After SO MANY REJECTS I finally got a world that worked, one without dwarves. Weird. I made an adventurer imp. EVERYTHING IS ON FIRE. THE RIVERS EVAPORATE INSTANTLY. EVERYONE MELTS IN SECONDS. WHAT. I became a vamp so I wouldn't starve to death. After some adventuring I got bored because nobody would give me quests (it was a tiny world) and jumped into a volcano. I've discovered a curious underground structure? I found a magma pool to surface from, and went to the structure. The undead ignored me and I got the sword. Then I got slaughtered by a koala demon.

An outsider is friendly to everyone, but if you accidentally walk into one of your bandit companions you will attack them and they will all turn hostile. I once had a dwarven axelord bandit for a while. He even helped me fight off some other bandits!
