Relax. In the meantime, query for you newbies:

What was your first impression of FEF in general?
What do you expect in this game/from future games?
Is there anything any of you are confused or uncertain about?

Do tell! :D
1. That it spawns absolutely massive threads that I will probably never have the patience to read through.
2. Roleplaying, primarily.
3. Supports, primarily, but that's probably because I largely skimmed through that section of the rule book, and I never paid huge amounts of attention to them in the FE games.

Jackson yawned as he woke up. After silencing his alarm, he simply stared at the ceiling a bit, lost in his thoughts.
He couldn't say he was entirely dreading the return to school. Oh, sure, it meant homework and lectures and all sorts of unpleasant things, but it also meant better chances to meet new people and once the season came around, a shot at joining the cheer leading team. He'd already gotten into the favor of the team members, so it shouldn't be too hard.

Glancing around his room, he made a mental note to get some more rubber bands. Walking downstairs, he ate a small breakfast (His mother was out to work, and his dad was still asleep), and decided to head out to the park and see if anyone's there.

Also....

ArtemisxEveryone confirmed.
If it helps at all, Jackson will be gay/bi (Haven't quite decided which).

Sorry I didn't post earlier, I've been a bit busy.
Cheerleader may be a little weird given my character, but then, it isn't like he's already weird to begin with. I'm ready.

Finally crushed a really really annoying bug in a Python program I'm working on (An attempt at creating a Zork-style command parser for text based games). I might actually get this thing finished by February at this rate.

"We have a team member suffering from likely concussions and possible cranial damage, in addition to possible oxygen deprivation. We're near the rapids, to the west. Grab an ATV, get some field medicine supplies, and hurry out here."

((So much for Dr. Helios having a nice first day on the job.))

Osiro shrugs.

"Well, I suppose this is one way of completing a mission. Sloppy, though...it'll make our job easier in any case, though."

He pokes the edge of his guisarme against the rope and begins to saw.

Action: Cut the rope!
It takes you a bit, but soon the rope is cut through. As it falls down, you see the light recede a short way, a great crash, and finally, the light disappears.

Ava sets of down the stairs, trailed by Culpa, Ari, Ithy, and possibly Osirio ((Did you intend for him to head down the stairs as well?)). After a time of walking, you come to the bottom. Arias and his escorts appear to have left already. A large, sturdy looking wooden platform is broken, with loose rope hanging off of it; the elevator, no doubt. The walls here seem much more natural than the sheer walls on the sides of the pit.
A tunnel is dug into the side of the stairs, evidently done by pick. A trail of blood leads from the broken platform to the other end of the tunnel, which leads to a large natural cavern. Through it, you see a man befitting Arias's description, along with three knights (You can't tell if they're flesh or clockwork from here). Arais holds a lantern aloft, and is walking with a limp. In addition, he's evidently the source of the blood, with a deep looking wound in his arm. The group doesn't stand terribly far away, but they are on the other side of a large chasm (How deep does this place run? How deep are you right now, for that matter?), crossed by a sturdy wooden bridge. A gentle breeze flows from the chasm; oddly, it alternates directions. It will flow outwards from the ravine for a number of seconds, before tapering off, and a new wind flows into it.
Farther into the cave, you see some of the blueish fungi from your encounter with the kobolds, though it numbers far fewer than it did there. Arias and his guardians don't seem to have noticed you quite yet.

"Some conversationalist you are. So bunker, huh? Gotta be honest, me and my group were looking something more along the lines of a spaceport. Though, then again, I have fuck all idea how to pilot a spacecraft, and I got no idea if either of the other two can."
Donove waits a moment before following Milos down, muttering to himself before heading down as well.
"So. Anarchy, is it. Oh, fifteen year old me, why must you get your wish?"

1018
"...So, uh, what'd he say?"

"Alright, alright, one second."
Donove goes over to the window and shouts down to them.
"HEY! We're all good here; don't hurt 'em. Found the other guy up here, says he isn't a bandit. Hasn't shot me yet so I guess that's true."
He turned back to Milos.
"So, ah...Where you from? What brings you around here? Judging from the boots and the fact that you apparently know how to shoot that thing says the zomms didn't exactly catch you unprepared.
