It would, though doesn't fit in with the current theme (That is, ancestors--no matter how weird of a race you're playing I'm sure it isn't the descendant a two-story-tall fire-breathing beetle :P). Maybe something like an animist theme, with your minion being a sort of spirit animal?

It'd be interesting, I think, if there was more room to actually recruit non-antags. I mean, obviously it needs to be constrained or else it'll be self-antagging every round, but it would be nice if a traitor could persuade non-antags to help in their plans without fear of admin retribution.

Imo, it's a great idea that never works as well as it should, like Rev. Basically, the idea is that you've got the oppressed proletariats in the back and the powerful nobles in the front, with guards in between. The proles try to take dominance, the nobles try to keep it. I've always found it to be a huge mess, unfortunately.

Couldn't you? Huh. Well, in any case you can reset your things and not use wizmode powers.
Presumably you aren't doing this for score or bragging rights, anyways, since you evidently aren't playing online.

The OOC got disabled three different times that last match, Space Jesus, what happened, ya'll?
There is a chance for snowpiercer tonight folks, well at least Ky said, so git hype
If Snowpiercer was going on, that always seems to set the community on fire.

Do dead Wizard mode characters create ghosts?
I doubt it. Worst case scenario, jot down what you have, enter wizmode when seeing a wiz ghost, and destroy it with your new god-like powers, then revert :P

So is there legitimately no mining asteroid at all on our map?
No asteroid, but it's been more or less replaced by the planet's subterranean area.

...down to the lack of pressure, oddly enough, unless that bug has been fixed.

EDIT: You know, I wonder how reasonable it'd be to simulate humans emitting CO2, code-wise. Maybe dionae would do the opposite, taking up some CO2 and emitting O2?

You rummage through your belongings, gathering up anything that might be useful, might be helpful. It's coming soon, the rain is becoming more incessant, and you can feel yourself coming undone. Quickly now. A robe, only visible to True Unbelievers, and a book only readable to the same. The place is in tatters before you find it, a small cache, holding many iron coins and a solid, if slightly rust-eaten, kirpan knife. Iron will be helpful in either form. You swing the knife to and fro a few times, feeling the balance. Contraband, according to those damnable automatons, but you have your ways. You dash out of the alley, feeling the gale-force wind on your back, the rain and hail stinging as it slashes against your skin, digging deep gashes in the flesh. The wind is blowing you apart, scattering you to every corner of the world being unmade, as the burning acid rain stings and gnaws at your skin. Somewhere, below and above and all around you, thunder cracks.

Light. Searing light is all you can remember about the storm. You feel yourself being unmade, but the iron clasped in your hand grounds you. The pain racks you, but it too fades. Terror comes, but it too fades into blissful, serene nothingness. And then, it all comes rushing back, after some indeterminate eternity in this endless, empty void. Far below you, you see the world sprawled before you, and you fancy yourself a god, or perhaps made into a bird, before you feel yourself falling. Your knife--it's in your hand, blood flowing down the blade from your palm. As you lean, you find you can direct yourself. Do you go into the heart of the city, to see what it might have become? Or do you go to the wilds, to find whatever should lurk beyond the city walls? Or maybe, you push yourself towards the mountains, harsh and unforgiving, but rewarding? Or perhaps, you can glimpse somewhere else to reach?

anyone recommend a reasonably good, neither overly RPish nor overly grieftastic server out there? Without going into those negatives that might cause forum issues?
On the lower-end side, I recommend /tg/, actually. It's a hell of a lot of fun, and though the low-RP-ness and meta and shoot-first-ask-questions-later attitude can get tiring, it's one hell of a ride.

Ahh, I never did get past Lair with a Beogh follower. I just remember ~75% of my screen being allied followers at one point really :P

So what do you guys think of the new gods in Trunk? The Memories one seems really cool, and I like the idea of a single powerful companion god (as opposed to Beogh's ZERG RUSH thing), though I worry it might be too powerful. The Dancing one...Mh. I like the IDEA, but you're basically always going to have 1 or 0 stars of piety when you start a fight and while it builds fast, if you're 'dancing' long enough to get farther than 2 stars it seems like all too often you'd already be on the run.

I've been playing with Hepl (...Yeah, I'll be typoing Help for a while...) in |||||||||||||| and quite like the feel. The free Englaciation from the Hexer path is nice, and it helps you when you're running away from stuff through hallways too.

Haven't seen the dancing one yet. Guess I'll have to pull up a new game in normal trunk now!
Basically, an aggressive melee god who encourages prolonged fights. Piety saps super quick, but you also gain it very quickly by harming enemies. Off the top of my head, you get the power to 'stomp' (Damage based on piety and invocations to all adjacent tiles), dance through a line of enemies (Warp through a straight row of enemies a la passwall, confusing them on the way for a duration based on their HD and invocations IIRC), and an automatic solo that happens based on gained piety (Either paralyzes or puts enemies to sleep, I forget which, letting you raise hell for a few turns). Wrath gives the enemies a solo on occasion and berserks enemies.
