you made a tunnel to a corner of the map? I never noticed it, though I do vaguely recall something...
Yeah, at one point I made a 1 wide tunnel up to the corner, or at least designated it and mined some. Not sure if it ever got finished or if someone blocked it up. I had planned to have one for each migrant entrance so we could lose (cough let sieges in cough) fewer migrants. :P
When my turn comes, I'll do my best to make migrant entrances, as well as some murder machines (Namely, drowning chambers that activate on command :D) to keep out sieges. The only problem then would be the swimming things, which could be handled by straining them out and sending in our oh-so-mighty military. Unless it's really dangerous, then I'll set up another switch to drain creatures too. But don't worry, people. Knowing me, The migrant entrances will quickly become permanently drowning traps due to the fact that I forgot the grates.

Is there a specific reason you don't want us to go into the city? If you don't have that are ready we can hunt rabbits for a while.
When did I deter you from going into the city? You didn't actually go in that one time because it was getting dark, and you ran out of time in that turn. And yes, I'm keeping a "time", which is whatever amount of activity I deem realistic to perform in 2-3 hours.

You wake up in the morning, and feel rather hungry. Walking outside, you check your snares. It seems that one beaver-like creature called a "Fleshpecker" was caught in a snare, as well as one Cthulu-rabbit. You make a small fire place, and use your compass for the steel in a flint and steel fail to make fire with a flint rock you found. You then check the barricade, and find that is was not breached, aside from a rock or two that fell during the night. Slipping through it, you head for the city. About half way there, you encounter three Cthulu-rabbits.

Well, that's been voted for, but now a lot of us have left that out of our posts. So, I think that I speak for every one when I say that in all of our posts that are about the game that we want to get a drink first.
