Alexander the Great was Macedonian, wasn't he?

Is it Alexander the Great's attempted conquest of the world?

That's the Romanov crest, isn't it?

Russian Revolution.

My favourite word, HAS to be "Bawbag," just because of how it rolls out for me, but it has a social stigma attached to it.

Least, has to be "Perthshire."

'nuff said.

Pretty funny how each episode has a distinct formula to it:
1. obvious problem
2. obvious solution fails
3. discussion leads to solution #2
4. fails
5. they find the missing link by deus ex machina
6. yay

I thought we were talking about house, not CSI.

PRAISE BE TO SCOTTY, PUNCHER OF KLINGONS.
May he brawl endlessly with them and drink from a limitless supply of scotch.

When he died there was a huge debate between two towns in scotland over who should get a statue of him.

Odrozagakterstum. Never translate that into Common. Ever.

Then again, I might make a superdreadnought in Remember Tomorrow and call it that...

Fatal anus destruction.

I think so.  Resistance is futile.

What does "Detgash" translate as?  Oh, and as a Kentishman, I make the obligatory apology for chavs.

It means "Vulgar"

Now, we all love the dwarven language that toady has put together, but am i the only one that finds myself using it in everyday speech?

Case in point 1: i was walking through the street and i saw some chavs, and i thought: "Detgash"

Point 2: i was in a shop and i asked if they had any "Ucat"

Point 3: someone was trying to remember a celebrities name, and i said "Urist"

Is it too far to hope for help?

i was doing a pretty good fort, 100 dwarves, 6 champions, barony etc, when i get a siege, so i tell the champions to go get suited up and kick some goblin ass,  now, they were all legendary wrestlers and of varying levels in shield and armour use, except for one who was legendary in both,  the tri legendary was faster than all the other dwarves, and makes it to the fight first, right into the super-speedy local leader/masters they have, so i've got a legendary wrestler/shield user/armour user up against an axelord, master lasher, and master speargoblin, he kicks seven shades of crap out of them without taking a scratch, then when his squad arrives, they all get shot to ribbons by the bowgoblin squad, except for another dwarf that was recoving from a sparring injury, so i draft all my civillians (thinking, i'm wanting to start a new fort, there's nothing here.) and send them out to fight the bowmaster, to my surprise, they manage to take him down with only 3 casualties, then the other bowsquad shows up and lets loose, and i set the dwarves to go for the leader again, and they do it, with about 20 casualties, no problem i thought, THEN i get a message about a Hydra appearing and making a beeline for my civillians, it tears them all to pieces, now, by this point, my entire fortress is dead, except for that champion with the sparring injury, who by this point had recovered, so i sent her - Bomrek Palacecat - up to fight the Hydra, with her bare hands.

she wrestled it to the ground, Ironblood Style.
