water underground doesn't freeze so dig down to a cavern and find water there. If you want it would be useful to pump the water to an underground reservoir closer to your fort.

If you destroy them with an atom smasher then they will be listed as missing because they can't find the body. If they're listed as missing then no-one gets an unhappy thought but you will have to engrave some slabs to avoid ghosts.

Pretty much anything without armor will be liquefied. Dunno if bears can withstand that kind of damage, but my guess is no. Unless you mod in some steel bear paw gauntlets or something.

So I suppose my caged cyclops who is wearing nothing would also die in a danger room.

Also, if they can't learn, it's useless. And it doesn't have [CAN_LEARN] token.

The wiki says that cyclopes have the [CAN_LEARN] token so unlike bears a cyclops should be able to learn.

I was wanting to train some grizzly bears for war using a danger room however it says on the wiki that pets that wander into the danger rooms will be killed. So I was wondering: If you assign the animal (in this case a grizzly bear) to be a war animal then will it still die in a danger room or will it gain skill?

No. Minotaurs are sentient creatures (I think) and thus cannot be butchered.

Yeah according to the wiki minotaurs "cannot be butchered".

I've never tried fish farming but here's a thread about capturing and training a shark.

And here's another thread that is about capturing carp in cages for war. One person on that thread tried to farm the carp with not so much success.

I did a quick search of the forums, the wiki and then google and found that drowning caravans is a known bug.

Yeah I know that you can use artifacts because I can use my artifact mace so you should be able to use your pick.

Maybe you could try keeping an animal (preferably cats) tied to a rope or chain outside the lair near the traps and maybe she'll try attack the animal and get caught.

To adjust the raising direction of bridges when building it you must press w, a, d, or x (depending on the direction you want it to raise).
Press s if you want it to be a retractable bridge instead.

Yeah, you can't place the statue until it's been brought to the stockpile. So it's possible that one of your dwarves is in the process of bringing it to a stockpile. The statue might weigh a lot so the dwarf will take a long-ish time to haul it.
