It's not removing roots, that causes trees to stop existing....I think it is a tree dieing, no proof, just I was on the surface when I saw a giant tree just collapse.

In my current world, I have unique monitor demons which are ruling different goblin civilisations. It seems that they belong to the same species (they are not "The only one of its kind" but "One of the only one of its kind"). One is female, the other one is male. Is it possible or them to generate offspring?
Oh, and I can't just wait and hope for the best, since I killed the female one while she was busy killing her subordinate lady.

I don't know for sure, but if demons run on the same mechanic as entities, though randomly generated, so long as the are the same 'creature', they should IF they are 'married', if they don't run as entities then they should reproduce like animals.

Killing birds and birds_new raws won't be enough.

I'm pretty sure everything with [FLIER] is broken at this point.

Only workaround I see is removing every [FLIER] from the raws. Anyone got an idea how to do that efficiently?

For the animal men and giant animals you can put in remove tag:flier, since vermin don't cause problems. Though ground animals can still get stuck in trees, but you can chase them away with your military.

So I've been wondering why are there only cave trolls and ogres, ignoring night creatures?

Yeah, this is a very old bug that just got fixed.  Whenever .40.05 comes out it shouldn't happen anymore.

However, it's not so simple as just unsuspending the construction.  Sometimes that works if someone just happened to end up on the tile by chance, but if it's because the worker is trying to stand there while building it you'll have to completely remove the job and redesignate the construction to get them to build it.

Any clue about the flying animals getting stuck bug?

I think the NONE in your is messing it up.
First number is loudness (distance in squares), second is time ticks. (vanilla: 1000 for alarm, 10000 peaceful).

Made the megabot's cannon attack there will be 4 versions. 1 with a cannon and free hand, 1 with a cannon and flamethrower (fire imp rip off), 1 with 2 free hands and dragon fire, and the easiest of them all 1 with 2 free hands and no inbuilt weapons.
 
I need to increase the range and the time between shots of the cannon but so far where ever the cannon's 'shell' hits is 'x is broken, x is oozing blood, x is swelling', so you can survive being hit but...your going to lose what ever gets it.

I tried giving the grotesque necrotic bites, BUT they wouldn't stop biting of people's limbs. Next up is a Combat mega bot, I'm hoping on making it able to 'shoot' a piece of metal, it'll be either elephant or bronze colossus size.

Making 2 megabeasts for weapons testing, knocking the easy one out today, the Behemoths, testing one of the castes and find it hilarious as x behemoth spits..the spit lands on the humans tongue, 10 clicks later the human tongue is rotten and the human 'gives into the pain'

Currently 4 behemoth castes, 1 just a harder giant rip of another a giant rip off with fur, a 3rd a giant with horns, and the 4th a giant with necrotic tusks and spit. All I need to do for the behomths are \ and mess with the colors, also add, noexert, they get tired way to fast.

It goes from raw ingredients has a whole lot of different useable outputs from acrylics, PVC up to kevlar, and using relatively realistic steps (but kept simple enough so it's not a pain in the ass).

It lets you make plastics from alcohol and a few other ingredients, and the different outputs vary from logs (so you can make plastic furniture), threads, cloth, leathers and bars, so the new materials can be used for almost anything.

The files should drop straight in, I encode most of the new materials as plants but a few like Kevlar as inorganics so they can be used for armor. I haven't fine-tuned the material properties though, but the production stuff is all worked out nicely.

What induced the mutations? Poison ice? Irate deities? Frozen planetary core generating a weaker magnetic field allowing more solar radiation into the atmosphere?

For a hint read the Bears' version of what caused the end. Kinda space race. Also not the same universe as we are in.
