DF Modding / New civ problems

Ok so I'm making a new civ and I have a few questions.
1: How do I add new appendages, i.e. tails, wings etc?
2: How do I change what they call their leaders, King>Emperor, I've seen it done?
3: How do I change the city symbol?
4: What's the difference between the 2 religions and what do they do?

Not kinda relate. I thought I saw a utility/mod/file where someone had several language files that weren't in the game, does anyone know about this or am I just losing it.

I don't dislike new civilizations it's that most mods that add new ones have 3-5 new ones that I hate and about 1-3 new ones that I like along with a hole bunch I just don't give a crap about. It's similar with weapons/armor I like some of them hate a few and don't care about most. Is it possible to remove the parts I don't like and keep the ones I do.

I'm tired of facing just elves,humans,kobalds,goblins, and necromancer. But I don't like most of the mods that add new civilizations also add a crap ton of new civilizations and weapons. Are there any current build mods that just add 2 or 3 new civilizations.

got secrets set at max, good regions I've been increasing by 2000 per failure. It seems like as good increases the # of towers decreases. Let one run all night and no luck the closest one was still 1 square away. I'm starting to think the dwarf gods hate me. Sigh forget it's easier just to remove the good line from the good creatures.

Ok so for the past 2 day's I've been trying to get a necromancer tower to be created near a savage good jungle, using advanced wgen, I've gotten close but every #@@@ time it's atleast 1 tile away from where I want to settle. Is there anyway to move or change the range of a tower? Not sure if this is the right spot.

Are you sure they've got a pet value and taming tag in the raw.

The stockpile was unobstructed I had people taking traps to it.
All animals were enabled.
The cage was siting on the trap with the sparrow woman.
I transferred her to an already built cage but she never showed up in the z-animal list.

Ok so I captured a sparrow women, it says their tamable. However after she was captured by a cage trap no one went and retrieved it, everyone but my masons and carpenters had the animal hauling enabled but after 2 seasons no one brought it to the animal stockpile which is practically empty. So I just decided to move her to another cage it worked but then she's not on the animal stockpile. What's going on?

If the missing dwarf is a baby hit read dwarf on therapist, for some reason babies are put in their own migration wave.

Unless this has changed recently, items on drawbridges are flung in a random direction when raised, so you can't really aim it at much of anything. You would probably be better off using minecarts if you want to launch things.
A lava filled minecart bomb?

I was reading and it said their alignment was evil does that mean they will only appear in evil areas?
