"Well, if you insist, I could get you a small discount. We'll have plenty of time to discuss that."

Bill sits at the table and begins eating , continuously gabbering about one product or another.
He scoffed again, turning his head away and walking past the esteemed con artist, hands shifting into his leather pockets.

"No, you've got me all wrong! I only sell the best if the best when it comes to my products. I promise you you'll be satisfied, or your money back offer expired in 7 days."
"I ain't interested."

Bill, seeing the old man, comes down on him like a vulture to a corpse.

"Hello sir! Please, have a seat. Is there anything I can get for you, perhaps this pill which will completely erase any and all arthritis!"
The old man turned to him and narrowed his eyes; at least Bill seemed like one of the more normal of the people present. However, Jose had an association with peddlers like him, to which the old man scoffed from, shaking his head. He spoke in an aged Mexican accent, pulling a cigarette from out his pocket and lighting it, placing the tip into his mouth as he huffed and puffed out a cloud of dry smoke.
"I know how you people are - get yer' damned bullshit pills away from me. You're more bullshit than all the bullshit I've handled in my life, and I'm a rancher son."

The door creaked open, announcing the entrance of a new patron - not exactly a new one, in terms of age at least. The old man took his hat off and hooked it on his leather belt, massaging his brow as he glanced inside and over the inhabitants. He nearly popped a blood vessel in anger as he grit his teeth, spotting some of the more magical inhabitants within the establishment.

Averly was putting some posters up in the halls advocating his presidency campaign.

39
 "Ah, thanks a lot!"

40
"I see. You're getting ready to run the student council so soon, hm? I didn't even know the school ran them this early."
"Ah, I was the Council secretary for most my years at primary school, Council president the last year. People say I'm pretty good, or at least I hope!"

41
"I see. And you're a new student?"
"Yep, feels pretty nice to be here."

42
Alice slowly shakes his hand.
"Alice Hollingsworth, a pleasure to meet you. And what is this president position?"
"Student Council president, I'm running for the head office," he said with a nod, his words speaking calmly with a charismatic air to them.

43
Alice looks at it, frowning slightly.
"Who are you, precisely?"
He extended his hand to her calmly, "Name's Averly Twisterly, some just call me 'Ave'," he said with a friendly chuckle.

44
"You look like someone who's not in a hurry to leave," he chuckled, reaching into his pocket to pull out a rectangular sticker, offering it to her; it has his face on it with a friendly smile, the words "VOTE AVERLY 4 PRESIDENT" printed on it. "If you want."

45
Averly was beginning to gather his books up, taking his time as he went hard at work with those long fingers; then, he glanced beside him as he noticed Alice sitting there, his deep blue eyes glancing over to her with a simple blink as he observed her. He brushed back his long, dark hair and gave her a small wave, walking casually over to her as he left his books on his desk.
"Heya, what's up?" he asked with a friendly smile, leaning against one of the empty desks as he glanced over to her, meeting her own blue eyes.
