I also cast my vote in favor of Harry Baldman's motion to provide a world to screw with.

It seems reaching consensus is going to be difficult. Also, remember that just because wisdom is your lowest stat it doesn't mean you are stupid. You were gods, so your base stats are high, and even your lowest stat would be far higher than those of a normal human.

And for those that would have liked some other kind of character, don't worry, when this character dies (because it seems you really want it to die by blowing up stuff), we'll switch to some other, although I would like characters to have long lives.

So you are one of Gaia's children. By default your body is made of rocks and your powers are just a natural control over the basics of primeval magic. But don't worry, that can change.

You must choose your attributes.
The 8 attributes are Strenght, Dextery, Resistance, Intelligence, Wisdom, Willpower, Perception and Charisma. You must choose an order, from best to worst, for them.

After that you have 30 points to spend in differen abilities.

Magic: You have a limited control over the basics of primeval magic. Primeval magic is divided in several groups, depending on which aspect of reality they change. These groups are:

You can spend points into magic. Each point must be spent on one of the paths above. You start an extra 10 points ONLY for spending on these paths because of your natural connection with primeval magic.

Knowledge of the Occult: Points spent on this skill give you knowledge of creatures, rituals and gods.
Unnarmed Combat: How well you can use your body in combat.
Armed combat: How well you can use weapons in combat.
Persuasion: How good are you at persuading others.
Intimidation: How frightening you can be.
Academic skills: Engineering, medicine, chemistry, alchemy and so on. You must spend the points for each one of these separately (so you can have 3 points on medicine, 4 on alchemy and none on the others, for example).
Athletcism: How good you are at running, climbing, jumping...
Noticing: Can you notice things?

After this, we'll go for special features.

So you are a forgotten beast, the child of a Titan. Who is your father/mother?

Of course some may ask here: What's the difference between the three kinds of magic named here?
Primeval magic is powerful, but chaotic. Not even Gaia can use it without something going at least a bit out of control.
Divine magic is less powerful, but not that chaotic, and when you've had time to master it, it's mostly predictable. Gods use this, and their field of expertise is what gives them their titles (love gods are experts on magic used to seduce, fertility gods are adepts at creating life with divine magic and so on). It uses a lot of energy from the caster, and that's why the gods need to exert influence over mortals, their sacrificies and whorsipping gives them energy.
Arcane magic is far less powerful than divine magic at first, but it's the less chaotic magic, almost a science, and it's learning it's simple if you have a soul prepared to use it. In fact Arcane magic is so easy to master compared to the other two, that some archamages have been dangerous even to the gods.

Some creatures have natural abilities regarding the different kinds of magic based on their origin and nature.

So it is two for dragon, one for gnome, two for forgotten beast and one for lizardfolk? Well, we'll wait for now until there's a winner. If there's draw, i'll take whatever i think could be more interesting and/or different from the usual.

Ok, so here i am with a proposition for a new game. And this time i've had the decency of waiting until it is summer, so i have lots of free time to dedicate to this.

Thousands of years ago, the gods fought a civil war. On one side, the Titans, the original gods. They had been ruling the world with an iron fist for uncountable years, and had led the world to a Golden Age. On the other side, the young gods, who had grown strong. The young gods feared that they would never rule, as the Titans were inmortal, so they started the war. As ancient pacts prevented any god to harm another one of its kind, the war was fought on the realms of mortals. Supporters of the Titans against the supporters of the new gods.

The Titans were defeated. Many were imprisioned. Others, like Gaia, mother of all life, were too important for the cosmos to be imprisioned, and had never participated in the war, so they were left free, although they were watched at all times. The mortals became prosperous under the protection of the new gods, but the expansion of the great civilizations had one side effect. Dragons, centaurs, cyclops and all other minorities had to move, trying to protect themselves from the new empires. Then, the wars between these nations started, and the gods started to battle for influence, dividing themselves in several groups or pantheons.

This situation has continued for thousands of years, and almost no one remembers the Titans now. Only some creatures and small tribes remember them. But things are going to change. The Titans want revenge. And their going to get it at any cost. But they are not alone. Some creatures have become their servants in the realms of mortals. Some want power, some want things to be like they were in the times of old, and some are the children of the new gods, who, afraid of being attacked by their own children as they did, have stopped having divine children and now take away most of the power of their newborns. But all of them have despised the new gods.

The community must choose, what are you?

Are you a dragon, one of the flying serpents from the north whose wisdom and power is feared by all?
Are you a forgotten beast, one of the most vicious of the titans' children, who were cast to the underground by their own brothers and sisters, stripped of most of their power?
Are you a demigod, son of one of the new gods, your powers having been reduced at birth to prevent you from raising to godhood?
Are you centaur, one of the servants of the titan Gaia, mother of all other titans, who has heard the cries of your mistress' children?
Are you a minotaur, cyclops or giant of the blizzard, descendant to one of the bloodlines that the titans established with mortals?
Are you a vampire, descendant of one of the titans servants who was cursed by the new gods to seek blood and live on the night?
Are you a mortal servant of the titans, a human, dwarf, elf, goblin, orc or gnome that has hidden his true faith or has recently embraced it for the power it might give you?
Are you a member of the lizardfolk, the only widespread race that has remained faithful to the titans?
Are you a demon, one of the mortals whose body and soul were warped by the sheer power unleashed by the gods to imprison the titans, and who was trapped with them until recently?

Once the community has chosen, i will continue, as there are several options for each choice (the starting option will probably affect the scale of the game, at least at the start)

Are you going to let him go in a berserk rage or not?

And remember you have broken your arm

(Didn't quit, just had little time to read through all the pages)

As it seems to be difficult to gain followers by being the old man who records everything, i'll look for any diety or other powerful creature that thinks knowledge is important and ask whoever is interested if they would help me in my effort in exchange of being the first to read everything I write down during my travels. (which may or may not be interesting)

As you get in front of Dorimon, DemiDevimon attacks. It bites you (1d20=20+2(Strenght)+2(Unarmed)=24(Nat 20, Critical)), very hard. You thought it would be weaker, and in your surprise, you fall to the ground, with DemiDevimon still biting you.

Seeing you in the ground, Pagumon attacks DemiDevimon as hard as he can (1d20=4+2(Dextery)+1(Unarmed)=7), but DemiDevimon stops biting you and flys a meter above the ground, evading all the bubbles.
"Is this all you can do?"

Is obvious that Pagumon is furious, but you can't allow rage to take over him. Well, maybe you can.

Dorimon is too injured to do anything.
