Lol, this happened to me as well. I built a arena where she fought a cheetah, surprisingly she won! So my Marksdwarves put her down.

Edit: Oh yah, she got shot in the head twice and lived. But then she got shot in the heart  :(.

I built a bridge but it only says designed when I press q on it. And it says they need masonry. I have like 100 masons with all they skills and no one will do it.

No they are new recruits, but they have no plate. I only made them military so i can command them into a pit where they will fall to their death (Way to many immigrants)

Thank you  :D, one more question. What would be better for a fairly large fortress? Because I don't want 45 dwarfs just running over each other every time they enter and leave the fortress. I was thinking do what you said, and make it flood gates. And when ever a siege happens no one will be able to enter or leave the fortress. Is there another thing besides flood gates and doors to make a entrance?
