Half way through this movie I realize this was sort of Dances with Wolves/Independence day...
It made me have no sympathy for the non-human characters, and it made me quite upset that the movie assumed the humans were completely wrong. They go, Oh no if our home tree is destroy then they'll all die. They don't... It was just so strongly environmental that it bordered on being alienating. and the fact they assume the humans won't come back....

And yes, they were after a material worth 20 million dollars per kilo. I bet some other corporations will get on it.

Life Advice / Re: Quitting Addictions and Habits

My town is practically the Weed Capital of the U.S. I feel lucky to not have any illegal addictions, but about half of the people I associate with smoke pot on a regular basis. It's difficult to find time to hang out with them all, when their idea of "hanging out" is getting high in someone's basement.
Use that time to learn how to play guitar.

You can tell what kind of work ethic a person has by their reaction to group projects. When the instructor announces "Group project," you want to be grouped with the people who groan. If someone gets all excited when they hear about a group project, you can bet that they are likely a lazy asswipe who will serve as nothing but deadweight.
One time I did my groups entire project. From then on, I simply did what I was told...

Life Advice / Re: Pest control: ants.

I've had good luck with the plastic poison traps. That and winter.
I live on the west coast and the winter rapes the crap out of the ants. To tide infestations, we used the poison cans (works like magic when you have 30 of them).

I cleaned my room, and realized I liked the dynamic of it being messy. Now it just feels empty.
You can still salvage this.
FLING YOUR BELONGINGS AROUND THE ROOM IN A BLIND FURY

DO EET

I can't. It's clean. But it's perfect. It's like how society should be.. URGE TO BE BATMAN RISING>

I've actually looked into the TTGL soundtrack, and I think "Libera Me from Hell" is a surprisingly inspiring song:

Stop watching anime -> that much closer to success in American Society.

My family have been the diligent workers near the bottom of the social heap since forever. On one side, Irish subsistence farmers with the odd artisan, on the other, miners and factory workers. I'm made of the lowliest serfs and peasants all the way back to the dark ages. Almost all of them were probably depressingly law abiding and class-ridden from what I know.
My family tree is a testament to the effectiveness of the class system. Nothing keeps the workers down like a genuine belief that they belong at the bottom.

My dad's family in every direction was poor farmers and factory workers. My dad is a successful computer engineer (no college degree). Just inspiring hope!

It depends, on my high school wrestling team we would call each other bro, breh, etc.
But in college, frat bros hate it when you say bro or frat. They're like, Dude, This is a fraternity, These are the brothers, not bro man.

Oh boy. We're getting fucked over already. Artifact fucked to be precise. I bet it's the lack of wood, it's gotta be. It shall be an interesting hurdle to overcome to be sure.

It says at the workshop: It'll say McUrist needs tree or something.

Any particular trick in not having the survivor go insane from grief?  I just tried this, and chose a dwarf with only two friends.  Went berserk soon after everyone died.

Isolate the friends until they are passing..?
