I think we should have a few vampires at the bottom floor.
If we can make or recruit vampires, the bottom floor would probably be the worst place to station them. If people attack during the day, they will come through the door, leaving a deadly pillar of sunlight.

Well, if we can only do one missionat a time, I say we go create the boss. Have Robert create a brute and a couple of skeleton warriors with spears(we wouldn't want to damage bones, so stabbing would work best), and then take these out hunting for a reanimated mount. A bear, maybe a moose. That way we can try our skeletons out in a relatively safe enviroment.

Oh, and here's an idea for our tower's defences: We could buy a couple of old armors put them next to the entrance of the bottom floor, then put skeletons in them. Once would-be heroes enter our castle, they would be attacked from behind.

Oh, and if we intent to travel to places, we may want to look into getting a mount for ourselves. How horse friendly is our tower? Could we make a stable on one of the floors?

Does anyone know how I could get that good in drawing?
Practice, practice, then more practice after you can feel your fingers again.

How about we do one mission, and instruct Robert to do the other?

We'll give Robert some cash to staff the tower, perhaps with something that can take advantage of stairs. We'll give him another 100 to assemble a hunting party and kill some wildlife. He can use the most impressive kill make a cool mount for the boss we've been asked to provide. The other kills can be used for meat. Give him 300 gp for the boss creation, and leave another 200 in case something comes up. Let him make two brutes(sword and shield) to accompany you. Try to recruit some bandits or hire some mercenaries to help raid the village.

Attempt to clean the Pyramid Gates!
Listen carefully whilst doing so. You might hear what's being discussed.

This looks intresting.

Don't enter the pyramid without permission. You're a janitor, not a burglar.

I bet we're going with george, but I might as well put this up.

Name: Ulgrik the Pulverizer
Appearance: A tall, muscular orc wearing thin, coal stained glasses on his bald head. There's not a single scar on his pale green skin, and his teeth have been polished to a pearly white. The thorned cloak he wears over the giant reptile skull covering his torso is closed around his midriff with a smaller skull as a clasp, resembling a fancy suit. Apearing just below the cloak is a pair of blood red spiky boots, which upon closer inspection reveal to be decorated with jet. If you didn't know better, you'd almost think he was civilized.

Class: Guild Master

Lair: Fortress

Henchman: The necromancer Inkdeath von Blasphemy. A brilliant mage who couldn't be more directionless if he tried. He has followed Ulgrik's lead ever since he saved his skin from the law after a graverobbing incedent.

Source of power: Captured princess
This poor thing thought to sneak out of her room to get to a ball, not knowing Ulgrik had falsified her invitation's adress. She'd prefer to escape with some hero to carry her, since her dad would surely kill her if she damaged her dress.

What kind of setting is this? Does the boss have to be a human?

Okay, I made one. I can't think of any good special item, though.

Aethermancy should be a nice way of getting dangerous stuff from biomancy away from us and into some poor slob's face. Think of plant spores, small critters, that sort of thing.

Can you pick more than one school but not be all that good at them, like what was said in the OP of that mage group thread?

I have no idea what to do but this guy sounds like he knows what he is talking about
Good eye. A less carefull observer might think I'm acting as someone playing some kind old school adventure game, using the [ask about] option on everything that has its own noun, but I'm actually in a position where it would make sense for Stephen to give me more info.

You don't know exactly what happened to Nomel, but there is no way you're going to find out for yourself. That thing is staying gagged, and you'll make sure to get the heck out of its way when you give it back.

Looks like there's no suggestions. Ah well, I didn't exactly leave the situation very open for them. Catten is just going to catch his breath for a bit.
